We didn't do the proper research before we came over. We came over on my sister in laws Eu treaty rights, but things are taking way longer than they should have.

    I was hoping you could help in answering some questions I have if I want to move over before I complete my articles and completing it that side, or put me in contact with someone who can assist.

    • @BiancaKade
      @BiancaKade  2 года назад

      Hi Richy,
      Can definitely help with the basic questions, the difficulty with moving over while doing your articles is you need to find a firm here in Ireland who are registered with SAICA as training offices. I am not sure of offices currently registered here in Ireland but will most likely be Big 4 if any.

    Hi Bianca, thank you for this video, it was SO helpful! In a similar situation, my husband has a UK passport and was living in Ireland (prior to Brexit) and we also qualify for EU Treaty Rights. I would like to know how immigration were with you at the border? Did they scrutinise? I am travelling with my son to join my husband who is already there and I am SO worried they will just turn us away if we state we are visiting with the intention to apply for EU Treaty Rights. Would appreciate your advise :)

    • @BiancaKade
      @BiancaKade  Год назад

      Hi Megan,
      So glad it was helpful 🥰
      Immigration for us was very simple as I was with Kade - it was helpful because they could verify my existence, my EU passport and I had my employment contract to hand. I would say with this one you might need to make contact with Megan and Vicky at SA2eire just to confirm what documents you need to get through passport control given the complexity with Brexit (I am assuming you will need to be able to prove that your husband was in Ireland Pre-Brexit) 🤗
      with that being said, if you have all your documents ready - you shouldn't run into any issues.🤗
