Those little Spanish villages are so beautiful and peaceful. I can imagine spending a few days there to relax and rest up. I remember the cold houses and apartments from when I was living in Portugal. My apartment was chilly pretty much until beginning of May, when the summer season was starting. Comes a bit late, this Easter? lol, it's alright! At least here in Portugal the traditional dish is lamb or goat. It's the second year of drought in Iberia, this has been a true economic and environmental disaster, it hasn't rained in April, which used to be the month of the rain. It's like we've passed from a fake winter (with temperatures above normal) straight to the summer, we don't have four seasons now, we are becoming a sort of tropical climate, with a fresh and rainy season (with torrential rains) and a hot season. Beautiful views, thanks for showing us!
I was looking forward to seeing this video and I was not disappointed. Every location seemed so photogenic. Highlights for me were the drone shots and the modernist "wine cathedral" Adernats. Hoping to see more of Southern Spain featured in future videos. Here in California we finally had a super wet winter after years of drought. Hopefully Spain gets the same soon, but without the floods we are prepping for now, when the snowpack melts in the Sierras.
Dari, the area you are in is suffering the same as certain parts of California and southwestern U.S. states (similar topography to where you are currently living in Spain). California was just inundated with tons of water all at once, but that is just as bad as too little water because of the damage it is causing. Some politicians think the water problems are magically going away and they are wanting to act like the drought is over. However, the overall climate trend is very bad. Your friend Ingrid is probably not wrong about what Spain may look like in 50 years or sooner. This is a very unique and wonderful part of Spain and I want to again thank you for sharing your adventures with us. It looks like you had a wonderful Easter celebration with your friends. The grilled onions look amazingly delicious. Taraggona looks very impressive.

My guess is that if it's not raining more properly in May, healthy rains will at least return in the fall. That's the local rainy season. But it will be a very dry summer, regardless. It's the end of a 22-year weather cycle that parallels the sun's 22-year cycle. (The sun's behavior is not exactly the same cycle to cycle, and neither is this weather pattern's behavior, except in general terms.) It's not global warming. It's a natural pattern. The dry La Nina has ended, and the wet El Nino is beginning. Look up the years for Spain's droughts and compare them with La Nina years.

Well done video. I didn't know about the drought in Spain. In the South West and California and parts of the West had gone threw a long drought give credit to the Lord and prayers the drought ended in most area but 2023 and 2024 the snow fall and rain will still be needed.

Interestingly enough, California had a severe drought problem for years, -- and just in the past six months California has received so much rain and snow that they say the drought problem is now completely gone. Let's hope mother nature helps Spain in the same way.

What implement one uses and how one uses it affects how the alcoholic drink is perceived by one's senseS. There are good reasons for why one chooses one type over another. Beer mugs are designed for keeping the huge volume of beer cold while retaining a good grip. Small tall thin wine glasses are great for wine tasting. The wine is held up high so that one can warm the wine with one's hand's body heat holding the glass so that the wine's aroma rises up for one's sniffing and tasting but not necessarily swallowing. Guess what my Mom used for her rather *strong* red wine she brewed (important step is to keep a reducing atmosphere near the warm brewing container wrapped inside a blanket achieved by an iron object placed on top to rust such as an old-school iron can opener) from California raisins for our ancestral worship and for herself ? Everyone is probably different. I can appreciate my Dad's expensive whiskey/whisky tossed with salted boiled chicken but I can settle for his leftover beer for sure. We aren't Muslims.

Great to see you in Tarragona. It's a place I liked more than the big cities in Spain. Tourists can just walk around and need no bus or taxi. Just walk down to the beach and go swimming in summer.

Great to see you in Tarragona. It's a place I liked more than the big cities in Spain. Tourists can just walk around and need no bus or taxi. Just walk down to the beach and go swimming in summer.

I started to follow several russian blogger as i was interested in traveling to Russia, but obviously the project was freezed by the present international situation. Let's hope all this will became soon a bad memory, as I still hope to visit Saint Petersburg one day. Spain is a great country to visit too, and easier for me, from Italy. I now dislike cockerels as much as you do. I was attacked on my leg this week by a cockerel when out on a country walk because I walked too close to his two hens.
