We are renters in a Fridley but I took a job downtown St. Paul and my kiddos started at a school in Roseville that they❤. So as we plan on buying we started creeping closer to school and work. I had no idea Roseville was so nice and that there was anything affordable there!
I grew up in the "Roseville" area in the 1960 - 1970's. (Shoreview actually..) A great place to be FROM - half the year its a frozen, dismal wasteland, as shown in this video. Moved to a place where mercury doesn't FREEZE in the winter, and have never looked back !
I’m a Minnesotan now living in Dallas. I do love and miss Minnesota so much. Love your videos. Today I am walking around White Rock Lake in Dallas on a 70* degree day and sunny 🌞. I still miss Minnesota so much however.
Don’t forget if you find an invasive Muscovy duck out there in a local public park/pond: “if you can grab it with your hands, it belongs in your yard.” -Ben Christie from The Urban Rescue Ranch in Waco TX 😂
This is great, I just bought a house in Roseville. The neighborhood is great and you are so right about the shopping in the area. P. S. There are a lot of Karen people in this area... Maybe that's why Peter from Thailand reached out to you.
I am a native Minnesotan but moved away when I was 11 but moving in with my sister tomorrow, who owns a house in Roseville and her mother 5 houses down. I was just there in April and May.
I am a Minnesotan now living in Dallas, Texas. I love Minnesota and miss it much. I subscribed to you about a week ago and you are making me homesick. I am enjoying this sunny 70 degree weather on White Rock Lake in Dallas. Not bad either here, but I am a Minnesotan through and through. I look forward to more videos. Thanks so much
An interesting acre or so if woods in St Paul is where Oxford St N 55103 dead ends into Pierce Butler Rd. Essentially where Raymond Auto Body is. There's an block or so of woods along the railroad tracks that eventually hits the Lexington bridge. It's a neat little spot, no woods around that area. My childhood home.
Nice video! Didn't know all this about Rosville and I live 10 minutes away from there LOL. Keep it up! Young fan of your videos! 😂🙌 Soon to be part of the real estate world, and you motivate me to continue 😊!
I interviewed a few and chose the one I went with because it felt right and had an office I wanted to spend time at. They were happy to let me do my own thing and support me in those endeavors.
I rented in Roseville for 6 years. It’s definitely walkable especially down Fairview Ave N and if it’s still open; Bent Brewstillery is awesome for those that consume alcohol recreationally. The little side street that led there has a little marsh area on the left side filled with snapping turtles, too. Lol I used to stop after work and have a beer occasionally. However, Roseville doesn’t have many younger people in it or many things to do for the secular individual, imo. Great if you’re Christian though! There’s a couple of accessible park and rides to the state fair so if you love the state fair, living off Fairview is awesome.

We had a balmy 50 degree day today and it was wonderful!! Still drove my truck out onto a lake though, which is a weird thought!
I have been in Denton TX for the past year and a half and wash living in Tulsa Oklahoma for 25 years but moving to Roseville tomorrow morning

Looking at West of 7th in St. Paul right now. Any good tips or info I should know?
You said Roseville is one of two cities contiguous to stp and msp, which suburb is the second one?
I believe it’s Lauderdale!
The state fair should’ve gotten an honorable mention
Fair point!
