Is there a way for people in the US to adopt one of his rescues, at a reasonable cost?
I just sent some money, wasnt alot but i have some extra cash this month and id rather help this guy than get a takeaway or something. I hope more people help this man and subscribe to his channel etc. He is an angel and after everything Greece has been through I'm glad someone is in a position to help these animals that would have died a brutal death without him. Thank you dodo for bringing this man's story to a large audience!

Sadly there's many who don't get found. Doesn't take away from what this guy is doing tho. He really is a good dude for helping them. He is basically cleaning up some of the mess made by careless owners that shouldn't have a pets in the first place.
The reason why is not because of careless owners in Greece but the struggle of paying basic living is triple the amount than what u would normally pay for which having puppies around (as said in the vlog spaying is non existent) cant be an option

I am really ashamed to say that I am from Greece and this unfortunately really happens here. I once saved a kitten which was inside a tied up bag in the garbage. This man is a hero. Help him if you can. His work is so important.
@Loner We took it in our home. Actually my home is in a village so we have a big yard too. He stayed with us until he was 5 months old. One day he suddenly left and never came back. We searched for him but we couldn't find him. I am assuming that he went with some other cats that there are in the village. He was a very curious cat. I hope he is okay.

I had to pay to get my dog that was in need! But the reason we had to pay is because she was spayed and vaccinated when we got her. So there was a fee for that

Though it’s wrong to dump puppies on the street because you cannot, or do not know how to take care of them, I don’t think wishing someone upon that is the right thing to do; a better idea is to educate them on how to get rid of puppies in the right way. I know rich people are often very self absorbed and cannot put themselves in others shoes, but with education that can change- without suffering.

Hearing him say 'I cannot leave them here' is so powerful because there are people who wouldn't have the same courage as him. There are people who look at abandoned animals and go 'I cant just leave them' but they don't do anything about it. This man says what he means to do and he does it. That's commitment and I respect his drive.

probably I need to clarify that all Greeks don't hate or mistreat animals right? your comment is a hasty generalization, most European countries may not have strays or throw them I agree, but they have kill shelters and they euthanize unclaimed, unwanted animals(unless you consider kill shelters more 'modern'). Nowhere is perfect just everywhere good people trying to make a difference.

No, I m from Greece. I ensure you that this is THE REAL THING!!!. I feed and help a lot of strays in my hometown. The only response that I get is that I m the crazy lady of the neighborhood!

Abandoned puppies by random people also abandoned because spay and neuter programs are nonexistent in Greece (says this in the video). There is significantly high numbers of stray dogs/cats. So there ends up accidental litters. Charities are based on volunteer work and donations.

One of my neighbors would tie up babies from his dogs in plastic bags and bash them with a stick then proceed to throw the corpses (some might have still been alive) in the garbage. This happened almost every year. So the scenario of people abandoning them is not far fetched.

I have donated twice to this mans shelter. It's not state of the art but it is loving. And every dog there greets him like they do in this video!! They love him. He's living a pure life. And I know he can use all the support he gets!!!

Unfortunately this has become a daily occurrence and most towns aren't doing anything about it. Think of it like the rich parts of Athens don't have any strays while more poor parts are filled with them. It's mostly an economic problem
