which grip do you find works the best for you? One under uke's arm and second grip over, or bother grips over Ukes gripping arm? Awesome demonstration, thanks for posting
+MartialArtsAcademy1 Hey, thanks for watching and commenting. Both grips above Ukes gripping arm is what I am told is the answer to your question (I filmed this when I was at the Budo Academy/Jagsport whilst in Singapore). I am glad you enjoyed it, make sure you check out the other offerings from this club on here, I am sure you will love them all!!
It works on more or less the same principles but they will never give aikido or any other TMA the credit. Grabbing the lapels just makes it a variation.
+Melanrick Make sure you grap as much tissue as you can with your first hand, second hand graps inside the neck-part like in gi. The t-shirt shouldnt be completely ripped off, if you do it correctly and fast, so that he cant resist much. Works better with polo-shirts, jackets, pullovers..etc. It's not the easiest throw for street fights, but its definitely sth even MMA fighters are not prepared for and its easy to combine with othen-jime to finish
Melanrick I did it! while sparring with my brother in some old t-shirts. the tshirt got damaged of course, but it worked well. train to grap much tissue as fast as possible, thats the key. But i use the 'drop-version', like i do in normal gi. Its more effective imo.
best tutorial I've seen on it so far
Ive done judo many years this move has tripped me out very intresting

Hello from Singapore judo club! 😙
Hey guys, hope you are well! Greetings from the UK, I will have to pop by and say hello next time I am in Singapore!
Very gentle way to learn this. Thanks!
Dangerous if uke does not let go => wrist and albow lock => something is going to break.
2022 SHIDO for reverse seoi nage - IJF decision 6.

similar with the shiho nage in aikido but it is not the arms that is turn but the collar of the uniform is use.
Interesting. It looks similar to shiho nage from aikido.
Exactly, I had the same thought in my mind

Great throw, shame they cant use it on competition now!! New IJF ruling!
Looks quite dangerous tbh
KOREA SEOI awesome
Xuan Yi Ang is awesome, glad you liked this tutorial from her! Her club in Singapore homes the national squad so the Judo there is really strong!
It looks like if uke's arm gets stuck, she (uke) loses that shoulder. Almost like Oni Kudaki.
I did that move (reverse seoi nage) but no gi today.
redhead is beautiful
very
Dirty yid
@@MaximusWolfe Show some respect for her, arrogant
Only you got to see train JUDO loooooong time to be able to do it correctly either from outside grip or inside grip.
Is there anyway of making it work without a Kimono? If the opponent only have a T-Shirt on it... Is it possible?
And if so, how to grappe?
+Melanrick no, t-shirt would be ripped apart with this throw, mybe it would work with jacket or hoodie and so on

Had to put the video on 2.0x she wasn't speaking fast enough
Here it just got banned lol, you get shido for it..
Very cool, so the IJF will probably ban it.
Must admit I had some inappropriate thoughts watching these girls.
+DavidB5501 Maybe that's why coed tournaments are not permitted
The "israeli" girl definitely doesn't look like a middle eastern. More like a European 🤣😉
You'd be surprised and enraged to know why
