I'm currently playing UNISG as well. It's been a super fun playthrough. Probably my favorite so far. It was definitely rough in the beginning, but after you get a disguise and some good gear, the undercover agent feeling starts to kicks in, and it's amazing lol
Lol when the violin music started playing for some reason my brain said: "Hi I'm Othias and welcome to CandRsenal." Have never played as UNISG but am always genuinely excited and surprised when I stumble upon combat with their squads in the zone. I have mained mercs in most of my plays in anomaly/gamma and somehow they are not happy with me in my current playthrough. Must be proxy warring for killing one of theirs on accident entirely because of the camouflage clause in their faction ability. I had no idea they could camouflage though, that's interesting. It will make my playthroughs a lot more paranoid because just because a npc appears as one faction they may be UNISG hiding in plain sight on their part of "The mission".
i have unlocked unisg legitimately and completed the unisg questline, continued to build a hideout in the outskirts, even did that monolith war lab questline through unorthodox means and for some reason achieved max goodwill with loaners as unisg while keeping mercenary goodwill at max. it is definitely a good faction to get introduced to killing everyone who doesnt speak english and be the most deceptive person in the zone climbing up the ranks by pretending to be an egghead (ecologist) (basically use disguises to progress)
The only thing I wish UNISIG was able to do is be more active in the Zone, they barely exist and a few outposts that they inhabit it just….out of the way. Hell, I’ll take a small outpost where the Merc area in the Dead City.
btw, im really having issues finding mercenary ace suits but i somehow got hands to 2 full unisg nosorog/spartan helmet sets. how did you find it and what do you recommend to do in order to get one?
I did a playthrough of UNISG recently, merked Monolith, did the Strelok thing...very boring playthrough honestly. You basically just play as if you were a Merc but now you just wear a disguise in Yantar. I got Merc Supply Level to 5 and never got the UNISG Supply Level past 1 because they are just so out of the way and the few roaming squads just get assblasted by Monolith and Sin.

Go to the mod configuration menu and click on fair fast travel. You can mess with all of the fast travel settings there.
