  • A unique restored, enhanced & colorized version of "Alice in Wonderland" by Lewis Caroll in 1915. Please read the CC captions of the storyline.
This was the second film ever made about this world famous fairy tale.
We used modern A.I. software to get this great result! The film is silent due to the lack of acceptable, suitable music.

Not all films benefit from being colorized - this film certainly does - well done - a loverly film - more so because it is so natural in its costumes and is unhindered by an overreliance on trickery - the movements have been slowed down to a natural pace - thus - the film appears much more modern than its one hundred and eight years - it looks as if it could have worked as an outdoor theatre performance - primitive at one level - yet strangely modern - the story been told with little if any titles - very good and again well done on your fantastic work

I guess 99% of all silent movies are kind of horror flics

Very fun to watch, but it really needs the text frames for it to be a complete film.

Damm the way she grab the rabbit ears

Alice is played by Viola Savoy. She was a busy stage actress known for playing "Virgie" in the play The Littlest Rebel. Savoy was 15 or 16 when she portrayed Alice in this film. Savoy acted in one other film in the same year, The Spendthrift (1915), and then apparently left acting. She passed away in 1987.

This is a bit unsettling since this was filmed while ww1 was happening I still think its real interesting seeing something in such detail that was filmed 109 years ago, very well done.

Just wonderful! It is such an incredible improvement from any 1915 copy that I've seen and really brings every detail to life, not just in our heroine, but the sets and props as well. A.I. absolutely has a place in restoration when done effectively like this. Bravo! Thank you!

It`s amazing that people almost 100 years ago look so animated as if they are still alive somewhere today.

The sunlight makes it look like something from the 1970's

  • @Hakim21210

What makes me smile is that in every silent film, actresses make expressive theatrical gestures!😂

  • @pamelachristie5570

What I wouldn't give for one of those gorgeous animal costumes! Imagine a small child in 1915, walking along the beach with an older sibling, and seeing a mock turtle and a griffin dancing amongst the rocks! The sibling, who doesn't really understand what's going on, offers no explanation to the younger child, and he or she grows up with this weird memory of an imaginary experience that actually happened! Things like this were probably responsible for there being so many mad cases during that period!

بامكانيات بسيطة جدا تم انتاج هذا الفيلم لنشاهده بعد 108 اعوام انهم يستحقون كلمة شكرا على الاقل

This is really Cool! I'm not a fan of the black, and white look, colorized or a bit desaturated is better to me.

  • @takehatu7892

amazing! I can not believe this film came from 110 years ago
