You are so adorable Louise! I love your tutorials; they are full of insight with an abundance of your tips and tricks. And your bloopers... make me laugh every time!! Thank you so much for sharing your incredible talent with us!!
Such a helpful tutorial, Louise. You have given me valuable guidance. It's so important to not just watch someone paint, but also to hear the decisions that are made along the way (and the reason for those decisions). Thanks so much!
Since I quit "transferring" most of the tutorial sketches, I can already tell the hardest thing for me on this one is going to be re-drawing these flowers onto the paper. Thanks again for exploring SO MANY new ideas and levels on our watercolor journey; I am learning SO much and my house is SO dirty but I do not care about the latter! This is a BEAUTIFUL painting.
Thanks Vickie. I'm glad you are learning heaps. My house is too. I need to spend a morning giving it the once over. I've got stuff everywhere.....not enough hours in the day!
@@LouiseDeMasi that makes 3 of us - I am so glad I'm not the only one, I am waiting for my son to tell me off!! I love this and cannot wait for the long version ;-) It's such a relief to hear your calm voice and see your delicate, gentle way of painting - plus, using less colours and mixing gives the work such a wonderful cohesion.
I tried allllllllll your flowers n birds, such an amazing journey Louise. In every step I thanked you from the bottom of my heart.God has send you as an Angel 👼💕 in my life.May God be with you always 🙏🙏❤️
What a beautiful painting. I appreciate how you show you color mixing prep and also the close-up of the damp paper that is ready to accept your paint. I always look forward to your outtakes as well. Thank you for your generous sharing.
Thanks for another great video. I do appreciate your careful explanations and also I love how you repeated the techniques on each petal. That is how we learn.
The more I check out other people's art video clips from time to time, wanting reviews on various art materials, the more I appreciate how professional your videos are, Louise. I do wish they would stop repeating what they have already said ad nauseum. Aargh. 😱😠 You go to so much effort on your videos, and it shows. 👏
You're a wonderful teacher, Louise. The indicators on your photos help me hone in on what you are doing. And, your tips for using dry (paint) on wet paper have helped me get past areas where I didn't understand the reasons I was having trouble achieving the look I wanted in my paintings.
love your soothing voice and your generousness of sharing. Apple blossoms are my favorite - ty - i'm going to be bold and try out. Also just love, love love all the bloopers at the end!- Thank you ever so much.
Thank you for demystifying white on white painting technique for me and many others ! It was one of my interrogants in this wondrous world of watercolor painting ! You are a master in this field and a great teacher ! Thank you so very much !
I watched that as I ate my lunch - very entertaining - and turned my laptop to share the bloopers with my husband, he enjoys them as much as I do. Thanks, Louise, for adding some beauty and humor to the day! 💜💛💚😀
Thank you for another wonderful painting Louise. You have incredible discernment, knowing which details to capture and which to leave out completely. The result is AMAZING! Really appreciate hearing your thought process as you paint. Happy Friday :)
I am always in awe of your talent, these blossoms turned out so beautifully. Viewing in Photoshop and adding a bit darker tone, I believe did help. Thanks for so generously sharing and helping all of us who aspire to grow in our abilities...Hugs, Diane
Beautiful, Louise as always! As always I learn so much with each of your tutorials and just love being a Patreon member. Thank you sharing your amazing skill with us. Take care.
Thank you Susan. I think the crab apple blossoms are even more beautiful. They are rounder and fuller than the flowers on my tree - from what I've seen.
@@LouiseDeMasi You are very welcome, Louise. We still have patches of snow but I can see green buds on our little lilac bush and for sure, I'll look at the crab apple blossoms closely when they appear. I remember how lovely they were and longed to know how I might paint them one day. Thank you for your beautiful video!
Beautiful tutorial. Perfect for spring. Love the challenge of using a triad. And fantastic advice to check the painting in B&W. 👩🏻🎨💕👍. Also lovely hair cut 🥰 and I hope your husband recovery is going well!!
now that I tried a lot of paintings, watched a lot of beginners and advanced videos, I can say, on florals, this is the best instruction ever and it combines all, that I had discovered with my failed trials but with the best solutions. not like me, trying to work on the edges of my palett with dried paint. you go for the solution :-D wisely
Oh my gosh, this is my first video of yours that I watched and not only I love the painting itself but I thought I'd laugh my head off from your bloopers! You should be a comedian, haha 😂😂😂
Love watching you paint. You have great ideas such as making your painting black and white on the computer to check your values. You inspire me to paint more.
Yes, lots of techniques ! I will try the wet paper and the dry paint on the plate/ palette! Beautiful flowers. Also, i never thought to take several pics and take parts of each to make the one you like 👍 thank you!
I still consider myself a beginner. Learned from various RUclips water colorists. I started with very simple flowers etc. But now I’m ready to try some of your techniques! Lots of great tips on this video. Thank you so much!
I am in love with your channel. Such huge amount of information you provide in every single video! Ia so thankful to you as your videos help me learn more everyday!
I painted along with you Louise. I’m so proud of what I’ve done. Not nearly, not nearly as beautiful as yours but I can see an improvement. Thank you for this beautiful painting.
I have missed you so much. This will be the first thing I paint when I am able to start up again. My grandson has been here for 11 of the past 12 months doing total virtual learning. I'm in Florida, USA, and his home is in Indiana (about 1,000 miles away). Your sweet voice will be so helpful once I'm back to painting! Thank you for a beautiful and timely project!
Thanks a lot for all those tipps and tricks with the dry paint mixture on the palette. And the funny part at the end. "Gesundheit"! Now I can start the apple blossom painting with my own Fotos, I took yesterday.
This tutorial was everything all the right intuitive decisions and thanks for excellent teaching techniques and simple explanations you never hold back ❤️
Beautiful and it was interesting how you painted this it. your technique was different than possibly my approach and gave me some tips that I must try.
Hahahaha...Did anyone say that they've enjoyed the last 3 minutes of each video than the original tutorial? LOL, you are so adorable Louise, I love your videos that I've seen so far (I just found you lately), and I've watched each video to the end (now you know why lol) . You are so talented and thank you so much for sharing all of your tips and tricks (dry paint on the plate and swirl of the paint brush to get the sharp tip...on and on). I've subscribed and liked each video I've watched. Keep on going and see you next time. Tong
I come for the tutorial but I stay for the outtakes. 🤣🤣
This makes me happy. Apple blossoms are such light and sweet flowers.
I can honestly say I pick up a new technique every time I visit Louise's channel. :)
Happy to hear that! Thank you Don.
I do to, today’s tip for me is when I have a runny nose I can wipe it on my hand and put it on my clothes and don’t have to use a tissue.
I had forgotten how good you are, I missed some of your tutorials but not anymore, I'm back!
