    Thanks for a great video.
    It was interesting and enjoyable to watch and learn.
    I am retired Air Force and spent 15 years in recruiting. I was in healthcare recruiting for 4 of those years. Was really interesting and helped a lot of great healthcare professionals get into the Air Force. Lots of satisfaction in doing that.
    Thanks again for a excellent video on our Air Force healthcare.
    Retired Air Force veteran. Steve.

    I am currently in college about to be in a nursing school and I would like to join the Air Force afterwards. How would this work? Would I be able to join the Air Force before obtaining my nursing degree and get my degree while enlisted? Also, would ROTC be beneficial for me?

    • @USAirForceRecruiting
      @USAirForceRecruiting  2 года назад +1

      Both are options. It would depend if your school had an ROTC program. -1st Lt Armstrong
      You can also go the enlisted route and seek your BSN. -TSgt Hurless

    Why does the air force not use athletic trainers. I wanted to join but I don’t want my degree to go to waste.

    Do you need to already have a degree in a medical field or is this something you can do and get said degree, then serve as repayment?

      For certain career like Doctor, and Dentist you can do that using the HPSP (health Professions Scholarship Program)

    How often are nurse practitioners selected to join? And how long is the officer training course that they attend?

      It varies year to year. You will want to reach out to your area Health Professions recruiter for further information on that program. What is your zip code?

    Are there any scholarships or programs for current airmen who want to pursue a career in clinical psychology?

      Joe, To be eligible to apply for the Allied Health Professions Officer Programs (HPSP) in the U.S. Air Force, you must be a U.S. citizen. Air Force Allied Health HPSP (Public Health, Pharmacy, Optometry, Clinical Psychology, or Physician Assistant) scholarships are for two-, or one-year periods which pays full tuition and all required fees. This includes reimbursement for textbooks, small equipment items and supplies
      needed for study. You'll also receive a monthly allowance of approximately $2,300,00 for living expenses. You must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an accredited school. Your payback is a
      minimum commitment of three years and begins after you complete school. Please contact MyPers.
