I am inquiring on how you attached the cages to the lights? I am not able to get them installed and thought you might have some insight. Frustrating trying to work them in. Thank you for the video and the help.
Greetings, the cages I got from Amazon fit around the outside of the light fixtures and then tightened. Once installed, I put the light bulbs in. It may be the type of cage fixtures that you got may not be compatible with your fixtures. 🤷🏼♀️. Wishing you good luck! 🙏🏼
The ones that I got from Amazon had the round area that adjusted. When you have the lightbulbs removed, the cage covering should fit on. I’m not sure what type you have of everything. GOOD LUCK THOUGH ‼️‼️🙏🏼
Thanks so much for this!! I was just about to spend $200+ on a new fan that looks just like this
I’m so glad that you found this. Ours has been done for 2 years now and is still amazing! Have fun❣️☀️
@@downhomenesters2680 thanks! I hope I can create the wood look as well as you did. Looks amazing!
Great to see another Down Home Nesters video!
Thanks Michael! We are back at the projects and will try to post often. Enjoy! 🎉

Did your fan wobble after painting the blades?
Not at all! We run our fans year round and especially this one. It’s been 3 years since painting it. ❣️
How do you add the caged fixtures? Mine don’t fit 😩

What kind of brush for the actual fan?
I used a random 2” chip brush… very inexpensive. Any brush really, thr streaks left from the brush leaves the wood-grain look on each layer.
