Falling in love with Lou's character is one of my favorite parts of any show he's in.
BIG MOOD. I love him with all my heart.
Matt did a pretty princess stream where he said the split in his group that brought in abriya and christian navarro, is bringing other guests on the opposite side as well
I hope he brings Brennan and Robbie back. Maybe even Luis or lou. Honestly I'm just excited to see who he brings
@@aratathekingx1401 I'm hoping for Brennan axford and murph......
@@mikemiller8430 Axford and Murph I love when they’re serious (I’m not sure they do tbh lol)
Everyone is hoping for an EXU Divergence, I wonder if they will do an EXU Divergence and a Crown of Candy 3 that is a time jump post crown of candy.
I'd have loved Zac, Brennan, Lou, Emily, Ashley, Laura. That was my dream cast.
With how they keep hopping channels, I bet they'll have more of these collabs in the future.
@@yubyubcommander Emily would be a good choice for the other side of the CR party split. Though unfortunately the CR players I'd want to see them interact with most are the four on the current side of the split.
@@andy2069 Ohhhh goodness, I'd love for Emily to guest when CR switches to "Team Retraumatized Due to Losing Everything They Care About (AGAIN!!)" I feel like she'd have such a great vibe with Marisha, Tal & Liam. Anticipation of Matt's D20 mini has been really mindbending (in a fun way) for me b/c people keep saying Emily would flummox Matt, when in my mind, she's a brilliant, earnest, ultra-perceptive player perceived perhaps a little unfairly as a bit of a chaos goblin. Liam shares many of those positive traits, but in "shoot from the hip" mode, he is a TURBO plan-scuttling, campaign-reshaping chaos goblin. I know D20 doesn't always have an even number, but I wonder if that other potential spot by Brennan & Lou might be a rotation of CR & D20 guests with doomed characters. We'll see! It's going to be gloriously traumatic & I can't wait.
@@dustybookshelves2948 I think Emily is a great player. I don't think it's chaos to embrace being creative and free in a world your character exists in. I do think it would be fun to see Matt handle it tho. I still think my dream cast is a missed opportunity. That combo would be amazing. Also, I like Liam, though he also has been responsible for a lot of cringe for me haha. He takes himself super seriously. players like Sam, Emily, Laura, Zac, and Ashley, they all have super deep serious moments in them and bring great drama, but they don't tend to make me cringe the same way. Not sure why. In the last few years, Ashley has actually become one of my favorite players. In everything she plays in she just has a super great vibe. She's gotten more comfortable and better at embracing her acting talents in a ttrpg setting. Maybe the cringe factor I find in Liam and Taliesin is that while I genuinely like them both, they aren't the best actors for a number of reasons. But that's all only evident because of the level of people they play with.
Watching Brennan have moments of being like “oh it’s (so and sos) mom” made my dm heart cry
RIGHT. MY HEART MELTED.
Emily would have been amazing to see. Her under Matt's DM'ing would be hilarious!
She blows me away with her skill. One second pure chaos, the next crying through an intense scene.
Dimension 20 is usually even in players this table is odd… we may still see Emily yet
i did not watch acoc first and i loved it
Eeeey! I've sadly been a bit behind because of my work schedule (missed about a month of watching x.x) but it's been so good!
Nice reaction. XD
😂😂 thanks
So I know enough to watch crown of candy first but as someone who hasn’t seen any dimension 20 where would you all suggest starting after that
Crown is pretty great. But any core cast is good to start on. They all have cool vibes as long as it's those original 6. Starting at the beginning with the adventuring academy is definitely solid
Fantasy high and starstruck Odyssey are both really great for fun, exciting, and creative combat scenarios, and Court of Fay and flowers is a really great showcase of character role play, but there's not really a lot of combat.
The very first season is a good place to start. After having watched a couple seasons to get the "core feel", I always recomend watching one where Aabria is GMing; either "Misfits and Magic" or "A court of fey and flowers".
Crown is you want epic vibes, Fantasy High so you can get the pure chaos of the main cast, and Bloodkeep if you want a sampler. FH and Bloodkeep are free on RUclips.
Personally Unsleeping City is my favorite dnd live play
Counter-argument, watch this first if you haven't seen both so you can then be durprided by the "calamity"-esque events?
lol Double trauma.
That is actually what I am doing. I am going sequential back to back, I think. I am loving this so much already!
mmmmhh...he might have to start binging this series👀👀
You can share my account 😂
Never heard of you but is your name a wraith squadron reference?
AHHHH YOU KNOW WRAITH SQUADRON???
One of the first Star Wars series I ever read and then was totally hooked. Wish Disney had made them instead…. So awesome to meet someone else who loves the books as much as me.
@@anonymousgomez4560 Thrawn Trilogy and Xwing were my first introductions to the EU as a kid. I really wish we had gotten more side stories like Xwing or even TOR/KOTOR stuff instead. :/ But oh well, at least we'll always have the books.
Not my kind of campaign for sure.
I really can't handle aabria. She only has 1 character over every single PC and NPC she's ever created. Ever. And it's always just annoying. Maybe I'm wrong. I dunno.
you are wrong 👍
You are so, so wrong.
I'm sorry to hear that. I can see where it comes from. I think a lot of that though is that she's not usually in a campaign long enough for us to see her skills in the D20 and CR story snippets (though I argue Calamity really showed the talebt she and everyone at that table possessed).
@@yubyubcommander I've seen her in a ton of stuff. And as a DM. She just really only has one personality inflection. And it's oddly and needlessly antagonistic. I can see how she sees it as quirky and fun, but it's sort of like watching someone learning improv in middle school before they learn about the common pitfalls that should be avoided.
