I’m absolutely happy that more Fey DND stuff is happening. There’s a lot of crazy scenarios and creatures that come from it, and I hope Wizards decides to codify more stuff about the Feywild.
I would say that maybe they don't want to ? the crazy, undefined and absolutely chaotic and yet monarchic nature of the fey is part of the attraction, if they codify it too much there is a risk of it becoming too mechanical.

I don't know. After the Ravenloft book I feel like anything else they try to produce to pad different realms/themes is just going to be more cash grabbing garbage. It's starting to feel like Wizards is burning out. I think the third party market is going to be where its at for more cutting edge flavor content.

The side quests have had 6 players in the past! In Escape from the Bloodkeep and Pirates of Leviathan there were 6, but for the sidequests filmed in person after COVID hit they started with just 4 so they could keep the players far enough apart to be in COVID guidelines and limit the number of people on set! From the Q&A: Will there be physical battlesets this season? Not exactly. There are absolutely gonna be some fey rules of hospitality social combat shenanigans and I can't wait
Aabriya Iyengar, Brennan Lee Mulligan, and Matt Mercer are like the holy trinity of today's D&D. Any time any of them work together, it is instantly an absolute masterpiece and I am ALWAYS here for it! It should also be really fun to see a more upbeat and comical take on "high society" after the roller coaster ride that was EXU: Calamity, too!
okay, after a third rewatch I finally noticed the one thing I was hoping after a Crit Role cross-pollination: using projections on set! Just like how Marisha's fancy set can show rain or dark red Ruidian storms, at 3:08 we have a lovely foggy forest projected behind Brennan, Emily, and new guy Omar. The best D&D tables working with each other only improves their production values. I hope that Brennan got Matt in touch with Rick Perry to help with adding further complexity to battle maps.
Missed opportunity to say "Hi Pixie Posse!" But for real though, super excited for another D20 series! Aubria always amazes, and the characters Brennan comes up with from a player seat are pure gems!
Having Emily and Brennan as players is going to be pure chaos and Lou is going to be such an enabler of it.

From the Q&A:
Will there be physical battlesets this season?
WAIT ITS PREMIERING A DAY BEFORE MY BIRTHDAY THANK YOU D20 YOU FEED ME SO WELL ILY
Missed opportunity to say "Hi Pixie Posse!"
But for real though, super excited for another D20 series! Aubria always amazes, and the characters Brennan comes up with from a player seat are pure gems!
There's an easy joke there in mispronouncing "posse" that might have been too tantalizing for this group of comedians. 😂😂
@@ckluv2skat you are absolutely right and that is absolutely not a reason to deprive us of that hilarity 😂
I can’t believe they set this in a rainforest cafe
Brennan and Emily as players is a treat.
I'm obsessed with the way the set is decorated.
I know this is a failing on my part. But I must give my priority to sleep and watch this tomorrow.
So excited for this! Awesome group of players, and THAT SET! Gorgeous.
Excited to see how Brennan and Emily create chaos together
I just want to see how Brandon can top the chaos that is Evan Kelmp with more of Lou's enabling and Emily's can do attitude
Lou Wilson and Lee mulligan AND Emily Axford at the same table as players? Lord have mercy
Aabria is a PERFECT choice for a fae adventure!!
