I was lucky enough to see this without knowing about the big twist. Blew my mind, man.
Same. My dad showed me this, but he wouldn't let me look ta the case for it. Even vsmpires got revealed, I flipped my shit. Also, Quentin played a creepy guy way too well in that movie
Same. All I knew was my big brother rented the VHS, and he said this movie was supposed to be awesome, and that it was made by the same guy who directed el mariachi and desperado (Rodriguez), both of which I loved.
What was the big twist?
@@clintdurham8321 vampires
@@bootlemonster in a horror movie called "From Dusk til Dawn" with bats on the poster?
Will never forget Salma Hayek dancing
It makes sense now that we know Quinton has a foot fetish. When she puts her foot in his mouth.
Best part of the whole thing!
Her and Young J.Lo are two of the sexiest women I've ever seen.
No one will....
@@ricardosierra749 ...I did
Remember when trailers and press material could keep the twist a secret?
the trailers actually showed and focused on the vampires, actually kinda ruined it for me, watching it a second time with soemone blind made me love it
My dad always talked about how good that movie is. But he’s never tell me the plot any further than “it’s a a gangster movie”. And when I was about 15, he randomly threw it on. I thought it was gonna be another Desperado/Once upon a time movie. Then those mfs faces started charging and I was like “hold on man what’s going on???”
My dad just said “bet you weren’t expecting that”
My boy is 14 and it’s fun to watch old movies with him
@@EatAPeach72 you are doing him a service 👌🏽👌🏽
W for pops!! Great memory to have.
That’s my exact same experience, he never let me look at the box or anything. I was the same age, maybe 14 too. Great fathers lol
Dude, take my advice and watch the movie Overlord. It's a war movie
One of the best movies from the '90s that you'll ever see it had everything in it and some of the best one-liners that you can find in a movie
The movie that made Salma Hayek a Hollywood star.
Preach brother!
She still. Had to pay the Harvey W toll 😂
@@Rico_5551 Yeap. She mentioned that in various interviews.
@@pixsilvb9638 what I don’t get is them complaining about it. Is it disgusting? Yes. Is he a piece of shit? Absolutely.
Thing is no one put a gun to their heads. They knew what they stood to gain. They signed on the dotted line with their dignity and their bodies. Then after they get all the fame and money they decide to complain about it once their money making years are behind them?
They could have said no and gone on to do anything else. They didn’t HAVE to be an actress. Or they could have tried going to someone else. Fact is the potential money and the fame was too much to walk away from
@@CLxJames Exactly.
I was young enough when this came out that the trailers really hid what this flick was about.
My friend and I thought we were going to see a bank robbery movie.
Boy were we in for a surprise about halfway in!
Blew my mind…had so much natural fun with the twist. What a cool flick!
I miss those days!
"And Harvey-"
😳
"Keitel"
😌
Winestein was obviously busy. 👀
Weinstein: so quentin...I heard ya got foot fetish...I got some freaky fetishes too man...
Keitel is a gatekeeper of sorts. Or used to be. He would take young women to awards ceremonies with one proviso
My parents rented this when I was young (probably too young to be watching it) and after they saw the twist they let me watch it without letting me know what happened, blew my mind as a young lad and is still one of my favourites.
Dusk till Dawn had it all good script , great actors , beauty, music sexuality , violence
And honestly!...one of the dopest vampire movies of all time!..
It makes sense that Jules speech was in Dusk till Dawn... it was probably said by the father(Harvey Keitel) since he was a preacher who lost his faith after his wife died... I'm just wondering when and who he said it to... it was prolly hard asf 💯💯💯
The path of the righteous man 🙏...
Quentin wrote the scene where Salma spilled tequila on her leg and forced a guy to drink it by sucking her toes and casted himself in that role 😂
He’s lucky
Creep
What a Rad movie ! One of the greats
My friend worked for QT from 1993 until early 2000....I have a few rough drafts and videos signed by QT..
Damn those are some good years too. Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown. Was it an amicable split?
@@bluecollar825no shit, some of his very best work.
And the crazy thing is this movie became a legendary legacy. There's even a series and a comics. I'm a 💯 true fan since I saw the first one with my dad at the theaters. We never saw that crazy twist coming. See me and my dad don't really like watching trailers. Sometimes it can ruin the movie. So we didn't know about the twist and tbh I'm glad I had the chance and honor to experience that. I just feel bad for those who didn't get the same experience. Trust me don't watch trailers, you'll enjoy the movie more.
I love how all these guys come together n create these awesome moviez
There’s a behind the scenes full length documentary about this movie called “Full Tilt Boogie” definitely worth a watch.
Yeah, saw this in the theater and was blown away with how they portrayed the characters and the blazing speed story building that just drew you in, it is still my favorite Tarantino movie. The first one was the best but the others are worth a watch especially the second one "Texas Blood money" it has a damn good cast.
Bro has quentin had beef with every barber he ever came across?
"Snap-ping poosy 🐊"
There was all different kinds😉😂
One of my favorite movies 🍿 😊. I love how it doesn’t feel or start like a horror movie. ‘I didn’t mouth Help Us’ 😂
I know I can’t be the only one that started watching this fantastic movie I forgot it was a vampire movie until the vampire started showing up!
Salma Hayek
College friend showed me this with no context with me never having seen a Quentin Tarantino film before. Easily one of the best movie experiences I’ve had cant wait to show it to more people 😂
Quentin Tarantino brilliant
Why? Now I'm questioning how many great scenes in his films are stolen from other people.
@@dontcare7086 he was taking them from his own scripts.
I just realized... If Robert Rodriguez can do a kids movie like Spy Kids... I wonder what a kids movie from Quintin Tarantino would look like and how many adult men would be packed in the theater babysitting random familial kids.
Like for some reason Uncle Bob wants to take all the kids to see a movie for everyone all if a sudden. And the diaper aisle is empty because they don't wanna mis half the movie taking every kid to the bathroom because they didn't go when he told him to before the movie started...
Yea that movie would be pretty cool.
“What they got down in Mexico?”
“Mexicans.”
One of my favourite movie quotes 😂
D.T.D was such a fantastic movie. watching it as a kid was something else. Getting to watch a movie with sexy strippers, scary vampires & cool as main characters was something for my 90's kid brain.
I fuckin love this movie!!
Art of movies, I'm in love
Huge shout out to Tom savini who was in this movie and the godfather of special effects.
Love this movie 3x
Favorite movie ever Idek why it’s just great
only ONE movie surprised me more than this, and it is The World's End (2013) by Edgar Wright... From Dusk Till Dawn although remains on 1st my top 5
This was the film that gave away Quentin Tarantino’s obsession with women’s feet, but I didn’t know it at the time.
Beautiful
And Selma ! Beautiful goddess
Seeing Salma Hayek's dancing body was a life changing experience
Quentin with a Frankenstein wig, nice touch
What a great exchange! Brilliant
Quentin looks just like Vampire Richie now
Born Genius 🏆
The original from dusk til dawn was fire when it came out. George Clooney was Just some dude you’d see on E.R. ( a tv series big in the 90’s o never watched but always saw commercials) anyways I feel this movie is what blew Clooney up.
Love this man's movies!!!
I knew this was a vampire movie, but I had no idea it was going to go down the way that it did. It was cool.
Great movie
Best movie
Quentin always has a different wacky look in between movies.
The biggest plot twist since The empire strikes back.
I almost wish the pre-vampire part of the movie was longer and its own movie. Quentin tarantino played such a creepy, R-wordy, sleezy criminal with George Clooney. They had such good chemistry. Quentins best acting role by far. Soooo creepy and skeevey
Amei este filme
Tarintino wrote himself in so he could get that SWEET FOOT ACTION in the bar
There has never been a female sexier than Salma Hayek in this movie. Every curve on her body was just perfect.
I'd easily take advantage of that if I was casting her lol
My First rated r movie 😅
Crazy that Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction are kinda like spin-offs of each other. Wish Vincent and Vic had a scene together in Pulp Fiction before Vincent Died but maybe it’s cause Vic was already dead? Gotta go back and watch those movies
Good ass movie.
Man I woke up in the middle of night as a kid and this movie was playing on tv and it was when the vampires started turning into like pig vampires and stuff and I’d no clue Wdf was happening Lmao creeped me out
Yeah, same here.
With no context whatsoever is really scary to see when you're a kid
Tarantino looks like Paul Reubens playing the spleen from mystery men
What is the source material of these interviews? It'd be nice to see the entire thing.
A documentary?
Thanks in advance 🙏
Just a guess, they did a feature length documentary about the movie called full tilt boogie it maybe off that
@@laurarules3642 thank you - it's most likely that
Make another one
👍😁👍
Vampire gangster movie 🤐
A real gangster vampire movie is innocent blood came out few years before this
Straight guys
I remember watching that movie and not knowing that it had anything to do with vampires so it was a real shock to me but also I just didn't think it was that good of a movie the first time around I was expecting something else the second time I watched it I enjoyed it thoroughly because I knew what it was
And George Clooney and Danny Trejo
What's the name of the background music to this video can you please help thank you
That movie was a trip. We watched it w no expectations, didn’t know anything except it was kind of gangster. Suddenly the vampires came out and we’re like “whoa WTH is going on?!!” If I was stoned I’d have really been confused. Lol.
It's okay to upload videos without that stupid fking hypnotic background music always playing.
This is truly a great movie... if you haven't seen it you need to... lots of blood and gore and women too... action through and through, great plot great story, the music in the movie is perfect, and this one movie has everything but kid friendly moments.... lol under 15 should not watch it, trust me the language is pretty harsh at times but damn is it a great movie 😄
That time when everything just fell into place
Robert Rodriguez 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽☝🏽🤎🤎🤎
Quinton tarrantino to me seems never himself. I honestly feel led on by him.
Whats the song in the background?
Robert Rodriguez needs to stay in his Lane and never touch Star Wars ever again.
Please elaborate. He directed an episode of The Madalorian that was critically acclaimed and well received by fans and critics alike. Please no spoilers I haven't watched yet.
@@joed2818 lol you are joking right? He completely ruined Boba Fett.
@@Astrochronic I haven't gotten that far yet. But I only read the reception on Wikipedia. But I believe you if its that bad
@@joed2818 It's that bad. Wait till the cyber punk gang shows up on their individually colored hover scooters...never mind what a vanilla bitch he turned Boba into...that might not have been all his fault, Kathleen Kennedy might have had a hand in it. She HATES Star Wars and its fans.
😂😂😂 that comes up in my head every time I hear his name
Salma Hayek 😛
🥰
When salma does that dance mmm mmm
clever boy
Lol they forgot the legendary Tom savini
Im confused about the timeline, so Tarantino wrote the script for Dusk til Dawn before he made his first movie Reservoir Dogs & became famous?
What is the background song
20 year old Salma Hayek in a bikini dancing seductively made me want to be gay because I knew I could never get a girl like that. My god, she was breathtaking
Salma Hayek looks good to eat in that movie 😂
So thats why the latter half didnt quite match with the first 40 min or so. Quentin cut the best parts from it, I wager.
Hmmmmm it's funny how this movie and the TV show basically talk about powerful reptilian beings that live in ancient underground tombs and I'm sure I've heard stories of reptilians that drink blood. Hmmmmmmmm maybe vampires and reptilian are one type of being
So glad this movie was delayed. Imagine the Samuel speech in till dusk instead of pulp...ruins both films. (In retrospect, who knows how it played in the alternate universe)
"And I'm gonna write myself in sucking Salma Hayek's feet" Quentin Tarantino.
was weisntein there too? :D
Wait, when was Quentin in The Beatles?! 😂
Man this movie, isnt good, but it's also so fucking great, if you get what I mean
You are great but you aren’t good I get you I mean what?
this movie is the biggest tragedy of all time. The first half of the movie was shaping up to be an all time classic. And it turned into some moster movie man. So dissapointing.
If you liked it, fuck it, i get it, but damn dude. That first half was amazing.
That was a bad deal. Pay 1500 and then get a year and a half gig unpaid.
#FreeCivvie11
I wonder how many woman weinstein graped on this movie set. We already know robert rodriguez and Tarantino won't tell on their sugar daddy weinstein
He’s in prison right now, sooo….?
@@ledflaplin2001 this movie was made about 25 tears ago. Soooooo....You're an idiot
I wonder how many women let it happen just to get a role for millions.
@@HenritheHorse plenty…. Probably over a thousand….. most were happy to do it because they had no actual talent to begin with.
It’s a known fact the most female actresses in the past, present and future will happily spread like butter for a movie role
Harvey just went to far as was made an example of.
It’s literally still going on as we speak with no one complaining
Bwahahaha... he _"graped"_ women? LMAO 🤣🤣 what did he do, force them to help him make wine????
I was also lucky enough to watch this without knowing the twist. That was when trailers weren't created by morons.
I like the naked girls but. I want to work in that sort of environment.
I’m glad he stole the Ezekiel speech. There’s no way it would’ve been better in dusk till dawn then how it was used in pulp fiction.
1500
And Todsy sadly Rodriguez does only Shit were is Desperado unrated und Machete 3?He had to make Action Movies Again
The first half of this film is a 10... the second half makes it a 6.
