I think Philippines is going to blow up. That country is all about performing live, the live band scene is awesome over there. Whenever artists play in the philippines they go crazy on the fact that everyone sings along leaving them speecheless. imagine 50 thousand people singing at the same time. i think that country could blow up into a place where people would go there just for the experience in attending concerts etc. It seems like it's about time, with all the amount of filipino heritage in winners in the grammies, they could take it to the next level. What they need to do is collaborate more with the home country and watch everything get taken to the next level. Mori and Bruno...i want it to happen, and i think it will happen and it might just be the beginning.

Here's the thing why Filipino singers are not very popular internationally... It's because every Filipino has their own idol and they're willing to bring down other singers just to prove that their idol is so much better than the other.
One example is Sarah Geronimo's fans to Morissette Amon. You will see Sarah's fans scattered everytime there is a trending artist that is rising, you will see them body shaming and comparing Morissette to Sarah, saying Sarah is so much better than Morissette.
Filipinos are blinded to their idols. They will not accept the fact that there will always be someone better than their idol.

FYI, a fact that she had a 101 temperature, and a sore throat that day on the Wish Bus, and still decided to perform, because she didn't want to disappoint the crew that was there, shows her professionalism, dedication, and understanding to her fellow musicians. Mowienatics love her so much for this. Morissette, the Slay Queen aka The Phoenix.
no offense but i always heard this kind of drama in almost every song she did in wish bus.
@@lordsemblante1313yes because it's true, everytime Morissette was invited to wish bus she is always sick or not fully 100% vocally fine since her schedules are hectic because she's very indemmand in the Philippines or even outside the country. But still she always sing her heart out wheter she is ill or not.
@@lordsemblante1313 and to tell the truth... It's true. Morissette was really sick that time she performed "Shine" in Wish 1075. Of course, you wouldn't know, because you don't follow her in IG and don't listen to ABS-CBN news.
And mostly, even if she's not feeling well but thinks that she can still sing, she still shows up for the people. She's very hardworking. And you don't have the right to tell this is "drama" when you don't even know how hardworking she is.

But she *was* in the midst of a ton of activity to promote the new Aladdin release (since Disney chose her and Darren to sing A Whole New World), and her schedule wasn't allowing much vocal rest so her music director (the bassist here) had urged her to skip this appearance. (Side note, there was also an earthquake that day, so traffic was awful and it delayed their arrival and cut into their air time.)

ITS TIME! LOL One of the issues is that Filipino artists have to commit to moving to the US/UK to establish themselves and many have such amazing careers is the Philippines and S.E. Asia that there is no upside for them to relocate. You can be the king of the castle or rule the world.....sometimes it's safer and easier to stay within your own fort! I think Morissette can be the next EGOT(Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, Tony) winner if she decided to move to the States.

this is an Original Pilipino Music, written by Ms. Trina Belamide. last year it celebrated it's 25th anniversary and the writer gave it to Morissette to breathe some fresh air. They released the Shine 25th Anniversary Edition about last year. There is a music video of this on RUclips.

Vxion and Alamat both ppop boy group. KZ tandingan is a phenomenal live performer. Another one is Moria dela torre and Gigi de lana both have amazing bands behind them and lets not forget the Juan and Ben&Ben both are amazing bands, alternative rock and folk bands respectively.
Ben and Ben is a band with many instrumentals and they performed on the wishbus, they and SB19 also has collaboration singing MAPA. ❤️🎤🎶

I had to laugh when you were so amazed that the band members could fit in the bus and play. You should watch Michael Pangalinan’s performance of Rainbow, and any of Ben&Ben’s performances (a 9 member indie folk rock band) on the Wish Bus. I guarantee you’ll be impressed! I’m an A’tin by the way, but also love Mori and Ben&Ben.

Hi Josh and Lucas. Lea Salonga, she is Filipina. She's the singing voice of Mulan and Princess Jasmine. She's also tbe first actress who played Kim in the play Miss Saigon.
Its not only time, but high time for Filipino musicians and artists to be world-renown. Of course, we have Lea Salonga, who is beloved in musical theater-West End and Broadway, in particular (she won a Tony Award and Lawrence Olivier awards and a host of others). Our pop and OPM (original Pilipino music) singers have all our love here in the country, but not the mad respect they deserve worldwide.

I was on the edge of my seat while Morissette reached those high notes. They are music to my ears. Morissette never ceases to amaze. Her God-given talent needs to be recognized worldwide.
Ben & Ben, a folk band, fit 9 inside the bus. Check out Leaves and how sandwiched they are. The ones that don't fit perform outside, can't remember which performance it was. Another configuration was ALAMAT with "kasmala" and BINI with "Golden Arrow". They did two buses with 4 people each. Outside of fan cams, Skusta Clee's performance of "Zebbiana" gives you a side view of the bus (SB19 did a very short cover of this song when they were messing around and it was exceptional as usual with them).
You should watch Ben&Ben’s wish bus performance. They have 9 people with instruments packed in there. They are a famous folk band here in the Philippines. They have a collab song with SB19 titled “Kapangyarihan.” This is also one powerful song and Justin also raps in this song.

More live band reactions please. Ofcourse now there are a lot of ppop groups rising but I think alternative rock OPM bands really helped and still helping OPM be alive after all these years. They also collab with each other and with solo ballad artists and rappers (Gloc9) all throughout the years and now with pop groups (ben&ben, sb19). Also, damn, Apo Hiking Society is the og boy group.

If you haven't done Morissette's cover of Carrie Underwoods "Jesus Take The Wheel" she can do freaking country even the twang is there. Also, you should react to her cover of Beyonce's "Listen" from Theater Solaire and her original "Will You Stay" with her band either on Wish Bus or In a sort of a house setting. BTW the voice of the "North Wind" is Aurora in the movie Frozen II
The version of Will You Stay that was recorded in their condo for the RX93.1 concert is 🔥🔥🔥 (that song in general is, but that's my favorite performance of it 😊)
It takes me to long to subscribe to your channel..it is well known and facts that her parents are instrumental to her voice lessons and singing career..she grew up in musical environments/education..Morissette was mostly emotional about her songs because of personal issues…at the end after so many years she left her millions to her parents to be with Dave (her husband , son of missionaries who runs a rural orphanage house)..people like and love Morissette. Humble and god fearing person

I believe the band 3rd Avenue was the one collaborating and playing with Morissette on the live Bruno Mars Medley and Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw videos.
Also, I agree - Morisette has probably has one of my favorite female tone of voice I enjoy listening to.
If you want to see a large group on the Wish Bus, check out Ben&Ben. They are an indie-folk-pop group with 9 members. I'd suggest "Araw-Araw" (translates to Everyday) or "Ride Home" for where they are all in one bus, and "Sa Susunod na Habang Buhay" (In the next lifetime / in another lifetime) for when there were 2 buses (because of Covid). They have collaborated with SB19 on MAPA and another song called Kapangyarihan (Power).
