    I ordered my quip brush a few days ago after seeing an ad for them, I've never used an electric toothbrush before so this is a first for me. I appreciate your review! Definitely the most detailed I have come across. I'm so excited for my quip toothbrush to come in!

    Very good review! Thanks for being so thorough! I've been using Sonicare for years and they seem to lose their ability to hold a charge after a year and the replacement heads are ridiculously priced, even at Costco and Amazon. You have very good presentation skills. Nice delivery, organized content, and objective comparison. My only concern was if the auto ship was mandatory and you end up with a pile of product that you can't keep pace with or don't like their toothpaste flavor. But if you have control options then that's the ideal. Thank you.

    The larger clear plastic thing is really not the travel case - the holder doubles as a case - even smaller than the sonicare (or the oral B)

    Saw your video and agree with the fact that Quip is much more inexpensive and much easier to travel with, but the one fact you left out of your video is that you can use the Quip suction cup holder to cover your brush head while traveling!

    One thing not mentioned is that as long as you keep up the quarterly automatic shipment going, if your toothbrush breaks, they will send a new one at no charge. You do have to take 3 different photos, for them to see, of your toothbrush and battery, but you do not have to send it back.

    Your review is very helpful compared to others. I agree it depends on the style of how you brush. I am not a glider so my Sonicare brush bristles do need to be replaced more often (very expensive). It was hard to decide to repurchase the Sonicare (no longer recharging) or try Quip. Thanks for the helpful review.

  • @grggsctt

    The most important aspect of a toothbrush...is the brush. The bristles and their texture. How it feels on the teeth and especially gums. And how the head moves. It took 8.5 minutes to mention either of these things! It's all an infomercial on the payment options. Once she got to the subject there wasn't really any technical information on the how the heads actually move. A close-up slow motion shot would help. And regarding the actual feel of the bristles? Not a second of the 729 was spent on this.

  • @ronoglesby1074

    FYI - The clear packaging that the Quip toothbrush was presented in is not the travel case. The white plastic piece with the adhesive strip is the travel cover.

  • @artnelson3360
    @artnelson3360 5 лет назад +3

    Great review. How in the hell do women have such white teeth? A couple of things should be pointed out. When you travel with the Quip, you won't need to bring any charger. It's supposed to last 3 months on one AAA battery. This will save you a lot of space and aggravation. I agree that my brushing with Sonic is easier, quicker, and leaves my mouth and gums feeling cleaner. Sonic wins on brush head size, being more maneuverable in the mouth. The Quip brush head is larger and I'm going to have to get used to that. Compared to Sonic, it feels like I'm brushing with a brick. Wish list for Quip 2.0: Smaller brush head so I can get in tight places. Longer handle - you can work the brush better with a longer handle. Stronger vibrations - the Sonic does the gums better with its stronger vibes. Better toothpaste - after a minute, the Quip Mint toothpaste had a weird sourness. I'll stick with major brands. Minor Niggle - shape the handle so it's obvious how the head is oriented in the mouth. Being perfectly round, I was finding myself burning calories trying to orient the head (1st world problem).

      Thank you, Bernadette. My Sonicare died out of nowhere earlier this week. So I ordered a Quip. It didn't feel like it does as good of a job as the Sonicare. I know that vibration is twice as much with the Sonicare. I am going to try the Quip for another week and see if it just takes adjusting and if I leave brushing my teeth with the feeling like they are clean. If not, I'll return it and get another Sonicare. Wondering what your transition to Quip from Sonicare was like. Thanks!

    • @MaggiesTwoCents
      @MaggiesTwoCents  5 лет назад

      I personally don’t struggle with either, so I honestly can’t say! The quip is a gentle brushing system and you have full control over exactly how vigorous you brush. It’s a very slight sonic vibration movement in the quip.

    I did Not care for this "review".
    I want to know how good the brushes are at three months.
    I do NOT like my Sonicare. I buy brushes at COSTCO. With the coupon, 8 for about 40 bucks.
    My teeth "feel" clean for awhile, but after a couple weeks, I feel like I'm never done brushing.
    So, my Question is, How long did the brushes last?
    I Did like My old ORAL-B, but I switched on a recommendation when it finally died.

    Stay away from quip. It is impossible to change the brush head.

      That’s a strange reason to stay away from a product! I’ve changed brush heads many times over the past few years. You’re capable!

    Quip is just a fad. No one will remember them in 5 years.

      I do not know if I honestly agree 100 percent. Tons of people have subscriptions for everyday items they buy. I personally want to join because of the hassle of find the right refills every time in store and some times even online. I would never need to worry about that again. It so affordable. It is on my Christmas list.

      Angela Bellissimo maybe. But the toothbrush itself doesn't set itself apart enough. Sure it's electric but barely . You pretty much have to do the same motions you would with a normal toothbrush
