I used this brush and I just went to a dental appointment and my dentist said my teeth were looking great gums were great I had no stains on my teeth everything was just great I love it it's not that expensive but you do get great results from it. If you would like more of a high-end electric toothbrush there are some out there and it depends on what you like in a toothbrush, the convenience of having the the extra bristles come to your door every 3 months is a plus and it's not real bulky like some of those other electric toothbrushes it's really sleek and lite, when my wife saw mind she said that she would like one too so I purchased her one and now I'm waiting on her review of the toothbrush to see what she likes or dislikes about it.
I thank you for this video, my dentist recommended that I get an electric toothbrush as I have extreme sensitivities to toothpaste (all types even sensodyne). While I was getting my oil changed at a shop I saw an commercial for Quip and decided to do some research. Your video helped me make a decision on this particular brush and I believe I will be getting it. Thank you.
Also, the build up of dry toothpaste makes it harder to pull apart for replacing the head and battery. I think maybe once a month cleaning that area would help.
I rinse my quip well after every brush plus wipe it dry. When I changed the head after the first three month there was minimal toothpaste in the head join. A simple rinse under hot water took care of it.
Thanks for posting the video. I thought about this but decided to stick with my Oral-B rechargeable toothbrush. I like the small round head because I have a small mouth and instead of paying for the brand heads, I buy generic heads. Cavities have never been an issue for me and as dentists will tell you, plaque is the bigger problem. My Oral-B is keeping the plaque at bay and at 67 that means a lot. I also don't want to pay for a subscription plan and why would I need to get an unknown with their toothpaste.
I love the Sonicare, however, the brush heads have gotten so expensive for my model, I don't think they are worth it anymore. And it lasted only 3 years before I had to get a new one. The off brand replacement brush heads don't work at all, so I am trying the Quip. Will keep you posted!
My dentist recommends a manual toothbrush. Says that electronic toothbrushes wear down enamel after years of using them. Best electric toothbrush I ever used was the 30-second smile, but they break down too easily and I stopped after my 2nd one died on me because they are so expensive.
They might be causing recession of your gums from excessive brushing, but fluoride from toothpaste should be recalcifying/mineralizing your enamel each day. Have you tried a softer toothbrush head or brushing softer around the gumline in general?
Yeah I would try using a fingertip grasp (instead of palm grasp) and let the electric brush do the work as you guide it around the gumline. You could also get an Oral-B brush that indicates when you're brushing too hard.
The video is too long. I know she likes the design but the performance is what counts. What does her dentist say? Improved checkups? Less gum recession? Fill me in.
My dentist says my teeth are in good shape! No cavities since I started with it. I don't think the performance is as powerful as other electric toothbrushes on the market, but so far I haven't had an issue with the performance.
Gum recession isn't always necessarily a tooth brush issue. You can still have gum recession using soft bristles but brushing way too hard. I know from experience :(
I'm happy with the brush but am trying for the first time to replace battery and brush with the replacement they sent me. Having trouble getting the top half off even after viewing instructiosn. Just me, I guess. My dentist did comment on how my teeth and gums were healthier after 3 months of use.
I just finished my first 3 months and had trouble as well. The video is too fast. I finally figured it out, but written instructions with the video would have helped tremendously.
I just got this at Walmart. I got the green plastic one for $25. I needed a new tooth brush since my other one the bristles kept getting stuck in between my teeth snd hurt when I brushed my teeth. I also downloaded the app for the teeth brush as well. I can’t wait to start using this tooth brush.
A cheaper way to replace the bottom portion is to buy one of their manual toothbrushes for only $10. The bottom portion of their manual toothbrush has the all electrical components to work with the motor that is included with the electric option. All you need to do is pop in a battery and use the motor from your electric brush and it's instantly converted to an electric brush:) Only downside is that they only come in the color white :P

I dry the handle of my quip on a hand towel before I place it back in the holder and I have never had to clean my holder. Quick step after brushing and it saves me much grossness.
Thanks, Sarah. Good job. A couple of thoughts. The 2-minute run time in 30-sec. segments is like the Sonicare, so it's nothing new. The basic Sonicare runs about $50, and it doesn't require getting involved in a brush-replacement program. (Plus you can easily buy cheap off-brand Sonicare brush heads. And who needs toothpaste sent in the mail?) The problem with the Sonicare, however, is that it always ends up in the land fill. You can't replace the battery, and you can't service it. The Quip looks better, however, in some ways. With standard AAA NiMh rechargeable batteries, you can keep it going a long time. IF it lasts. You, however, couldn't make it last longer than two years. If that's the case, then it doesn't look good. For the time being, I'll stick with my Sonicare--until it dies.
Thanks for watching! I did learn that the issue that affecting my brush would potentially be covered under the Quip warranty, but you do need to have an active subscription plan in order for it to qualify.
The off brand brush heads didn't work in my Sonicare. They barely vibrated, they were useless. The brush heads in my SOnicare have gotten so expensive, I will try the Quip.
Sonicare brushes are NO where near the quality they use to be. Years ago (10?) it was one of the greatest purchases of all time for me. OralB lacks in quality as well... THUS finally looking elsewhere so just ordered my Quip! #fingerscrossed #everythingismadetobreakthesedays
If you're looking to buy one that's worth it, i'd suggest burst if money is tight and you're looking for an electric toothbrush. Quip literally does nothing....it's a manual with a nice hand massager, don't waste your money.
They do not make my sons guns bleed he doesn't have gum disease just really tender ones and despite me repeatedly asking more then one dentist this was the only one that doesn't seem to hurt them and it is very gentle with his mouth. We love em and he's ten so he has the adult size brush which he loves. These days they have smaller tongue scratches on the kids brush I think it 22 tufts verse the 32 on the adult size one. We just switched to the adult brush because he is getting grown up teeth and the timer helps you can get the Bluetooth option for any brush now after you get the basic kit for kids or adults you can buy the brush motors that have that feature and they are great with kids lets me know if they did it or not through the app even when I'm not home it still sends the information to me.
I know this is an old video but I was curious about something. I really like tooth brushes that have varied bristles to get around gums and further between teeth. I found it gets my teeth cleaner and my checkups are better. Quip looks like it is a flat brush. Is that a problem?
Hey! Personally the flatness doesn’t bother me, and to be honest I don’t really notice it. However, if that’s what you are used to, then it might be a negative of the quip brush.
@@MissSarahEK Thanks for getting back to me. Yeah, I think it could be a negative. I wonder though, if you didn't find it noticeable, that I might not care that much if it is still able to reach those places. Still considering it, lol.
Hi Sarah! You are looking very nice today! Very nice toothbrush, I appreciate your review & information about these brushes! WOW, 2 minutes seems long! I didn't realize you needed to brush your teeth that long! Nice travel case, I usually just wrap my in cellophane wrap! Nice reminder for replacing your toothbrush head, 3 months is about right, I think 🤔appreciate the "family plan" with 8 children 😂 Actually, 6 of them are grown & out of college so 4 is a perfect 👌🏻 Perhaps you are putting too much toothpaste on your brush with the buildup on your brush 🤗 I use a spinning brush now so, I may just continue with what I have but I sure do appreciate your review honey! Have a great weekend my friend~
Thank you! About the 2 minutes, I know right ?! I must have been brushing for only 30 seconds or so before I started using this brush. I'll try using less toothpaste and see if that fixes the build-up issue - thanks for the suggestion! I think it must be that or perhaps I just need to clean it out more often. And wow - 8 kids you would definitely need more than the "family" plan! Although I suppose you could mix and mix and max the 1, 2 and 4 brush plans to get the right amount! Either way, it's not for everyone; I'm glad you have another brush you like :)
I think you may be on to something, Rhiannon. They say we only need a pea size amount of toothpaste. I use that amount, and after 3 months' use, I had no build-up, so maybe...?
Is the sticky strip on the holder restickable? I travel a lot and it will be coming on and off the wall a lot. Will that affect how well it sticks?? What material is the strip? Also is the quip waterproof for those that brush in the shower?
You may be able to re-stick it a few times, but I don't think it's designed to be frequently moved. The strip is made of a sticky foam material. If you are traveling with your quip, I would recommend not putting it on the wall and just using the standing holder. I haven't tried showering with it, but I think it's generally waterproof for short periods of time as long as you aren't submerging it. I've washed it under running water with no issues. Thanks for watching :)
It resticks. I’ve dismounted mine from my mirror at least 8 times in the past year for travel and it’s still going strong! I just wet the strip and pat it dry. I found it won’t stick right away after you dry it; I let it stand overnight so it air-dries completely and by the morning, it’s ready to be remounted.
My dentist recommended an electric toothbrush... a little bone loss on teeth, bleeding gums at cleanings etc.. Probably from not flossing enough or not getting bits of food in gaps by crowns. I forgot he said not to get one of the little battery powered, hand held ones, and eventually got a Quip. I like it & seem to be doing better on checkups now, but not sure if that is due to better flossing. Quip just vibrates, so I don't think the comment on here about a dentist warning against wearing down enamel vs manual brushing would apply. But not sure if it does as well as the bigger versions more commonly used. It seems like a smart, efficient, economical design all around and I agree that it is grreat for travel. I would prefer rechargable double a battery rather than replacing one every 3 months, but $5 per 3 mo. for the brush head & battery isn't too bad. Landfills might not like it as well, though.
@@MissSarahEK Awesome! Are you still using this tooth brush? I have been looking at possibly getting one but I am on the fence. I'm afraid the brush part will be too big as my mouth is a bit small... lol. Or the power won't be enough for me (never used an electric before)
Yes I still use it! I would say it’s on the gentler side of electric brushes. As far as the size, the brush part is about the size of a typical manual toothbrush for reference.
Yes! I do that every time by rinsing the head under running water. I probably wouldn’t recommend submerging in water or over-doing the washing though just to avoid getting the battery wet.
Good question - I’m not actually sure! I wasn’t aware they had a warranty. The brush was still operational (just a bit unsecure) so I’m not sure if they would have replaced it. They say they only cover manufacturing defects, not product misuse. I’m not sure where my issue would have fit in. I will keep that in mind for the future though!
Just to pop in because I just went through this yesterday and today. As long as your subscription is going it is covered under warranty (not sure what they consider manufacturing defect or product misuse). But the tip of mine wasn't securely staying on either and they asked for a couple of pictures and are sending me a new bottom piece for free now. They did send me the instructions again of how to properly switch out the pieces so I believe they think it was my fault but are being generous enough to cover the cost for me regardless. I am really pleased with this company.
Yes, very true! That a great option as well; personally I just don't like using the white tube since I would have to remove it from the wall which might cause some of the stickiness to be lost.
(This Is an honest and fair review. I should have watched until the end.) This may very well be a legitimate review from an honest and well meaning young lady, but it just across to me as a commercial. One that I did not finish watching. The questions I had were how does the device charge? How long does a charge last? What sort of tooth paste do they supply you with, because I quite like my whitening toothpaste? Also, does the brush head oscillate or vibrate. My current toothbrush oscillates. I don’t mean to be harsh. Perhaps just consider this constructive criticism for future videos. Make them tighter and denser with pertinent information.
Hi there - sorry to to hear you didn't like the video! I always make sure to point out the pros AND cons in every single review I make to avoid sounding like a commercial and to give viewers an honest perspective of how the product performs. Perhaps if you watched until the end, you would have noticed that and gotten answers to your questions. Maybe I should start with the negatives in the future. However, as I mentioned, I have chosen to maintain my subscription for 2+ years, so I do indeed have a positive impression about the company/product which you noticed. To answer your questions specifically: (1) The device does not charge. It is battery-operated, and they send you a new battery with each subscription shipment every 3 months. The battery lasts at least the 3 months you have to wait for a new shipment. (2) The toothpaste is "mint anticavity toothpaste." I don't believe it is whitening, but there is a brush-only subscription option where you do not get the toothpaste included. This would allow you to choose your own toothpaste if you prefer something else. (3) The head only vibrates. This has been a common criticism of the brush which I mention in the video. Thanks for watching and the feedback :)
Miss Sarah E K Thank you for your reply! Perhaps I should have watched the whole video. I guess I’m a little jumpy these days. I think I’ve spent so much time on RUclips that my attention span has diminished. I will watch the rest of your video now. 😁
No problem - I think that's happening to all of us :) I am working on tightening the delivery, so hopefully you will see that improve in future videos!
Am I the only one who has a Quip that’s wondering if they should store it IN its plastic tube cover(sealed on its stand) to protect it from bacteria in your bathroom specifically WHEN you flush your toilet or will bacteria build from moisture and leave it exposed or does it make NO difference?
You can keep a toothbrush cover on it and place it on the mirror I keep one on it. You can also keep it in the plastic cover. One thing that can help is practicing closing the lid on the toilet. You can lift it back up once it's done flushing if you want to be courteous. 👍
This is near impossible to open up to get the battery out. It takes brute force just to open it up and there are no illustrations or directions as to how to overcome this design flaw.
The handle can REALLY stink if you don't rinse it after brushing and slide it back in the holder... and who remembers to wash their brush handle? The wall holder gets gunked up with nasty stuff. Also, I find the plastic waste a problem- I didn't expect this being a replaceable head, but the heads arrive in a hard plastic sleeve. I would suggest to QUIP to make a corn starch plastic or similar protective sleeve to cut down on plastic waste as it is a hard plastic- possibly acrylic- and many places don't recycle this material.
I know I’ve been recently washing the holder in the dishwasher to clean it (I’ve been just using it to stand up and not attach to the wall). And I agree it would be great if they had more plastic free items!
You are so much better off buying a 1 dollar soft toothbrush every month at the end of the month do an activated charcoal brush with it and(do not charcoal brush much more than that) you will have plaque free teeth without hurting enamel. The dentist will compliment you if you charcoal brush a day before an appointment (you won't have to deal with them picking at your teeth with a scribe as much if at all). You can thank me later :)
You press doen carefully with both hands, dont press the power button. Press it like you are trying to snap it off and a little Backwards,it'll feel like you are going to break it kwards
Active ingredient is sodium monofluorophosphate 0.76%. Inactive ingredients are calcium carbonate, sorbitol, water, sodium laurel sulfate, hydrated silica, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, flavor, sodium silicate, sodium benzoate, sodium saccharin. If you don’t want to use their toothpaste, you can do a plan with only the brush heads and no toothpaste :)
You can get a solar panel charger for it on the web page and it has a USB option for quick charge too. They have come up or out with much more sense the video was made maybe
Those other toothbrushes are bigger because they are way more powerful and actually break up plaque and tartar. Quip is not powerful enough and is only a little better than a manual brush.
Honestly, if you're brushing your teeth when you wake up and before you go to bed and you're getting your annual or biannual dental visits and you shouldn't have to break up any tartar or plaque. Hello! Don't believe everything you hear and read some things you just have to think through on your own .
@@forbabygrl1 But it’s true. These battery operated brushes are not powerful enough to break down plaque. And any plaque left over will turn into tartar. Yes it takes 24 hours to calcify but if there’s any left over because your brush is one of these battery operated low performance brushes then it will inevitably cause tartar to form. There’s always at least a little tartar when you get your cleanings. And yes I go twice a year, brush twice a day and I use a Phillips Sonicare brush that is far more advanced than Quip.
It depends on the type of brush you get - the metal finish is $40 upfront, but the plastic one that I have is only $25 initial purchase for the brush+paste subscription plan. Thanks for watching :)
I would have liked reassurance that the battery lasts 3 months. I am surprised that a AA-battery can last that long. I have a Philips 4500. It has a travel case. It has the same timer. I like the charging stand since I don't want to attach anything to a surface. That's not good when you move. I have no trouble keeping it clean. I am interested in how much force it makes on your teeth. I wonder if the Phiips is too strong.
In other reviews, I see that the holder sticks but can be pulled off. It uses a triple-A battery, It uses much less force than a SonicCare. And, no toothbrush requires more than a dab of toothpaste: ruclips.net/video/9AM5ff4LyQY/видео.html
Hi Martin - I haven’t had any issues with the battery running out between the 3 month shipments (not sure if I said the wrong battery type in the video? I will have to double check!) Either way, using the batter for 4 minutes a day hasn’t been a problem. I find that the strength is relatively low compared to other electric toothbrushes, but I don’t find it to be an issue. As far as the holder sticking to the wall, I think you should be able to take it off cleanly, but I don’t think it will retain a lot of its stickiness if you try to restick multiple times.
Hi Martin! I just finished my first 3 months last week on the 16th of September, and the battery died right on time. Trouble is, my new one won't be here until Monday the 24th, so they're 8 days late. That's amazing timing, but I may have to get on them for their tardiness! 😉
One more DISADVANTAGE that Sonicare poses to travelers - if you're going out of the country on a long trip, beware. If you try to use a 220-110 converter and plug in a U.S. charging base into European plug, you will burn out the fuse. Your only recourse is to purchase a brand new (and expensive) entire toothbrush + charging base. Phillips customer service seems ignorant of the problem and insensitive to it. They do not offer replacement charging bases. They don't offer multi-current capable charging bases. They don't offer replacement fuses. They don't make the base serviceable. If you travel, the Sonicare is a defective product, and the company doesn't stand behind it. Quip, on the other hand, is perfect for traveling. The AAA battery lasts for 3 months, and you can use the toothbrush anywhere, no matter the current. And you can even use a traditional toothbrush travel case - it fits perfectly.
Did I say 3 years? If so I meant 2 years...I placed my first order on Feb 28, 2016 - which was just a over 2 years before I posted this video. But now it's been 4 years and I'm still using it!
That’s not actually true - their toothpaste does include fluoride. Here is a snippet from their website « Our toothpaste includes the right amount of fluoride to be absorbed by your enamel, and has earned the ADA Seal of Acceptance. » . And you are right that the vibration is pretty gentle 👍🏻
It’s listed in their toothpaste ingredients help.getquip.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000319366-What-are-the-toothpaste-ingredients-?mobile_site=true. I’m not sure why you don’t see it on the bottle.
I hate quip they don't have enough power to clean teeth effectively. I get a better clean with a arm and hammer spin brush. A good sonic brush is the sonic brush daily clean 1100 its only $25, has 2 min timer, and its rechargeable.
You talked too much, played with your hair a lot, but didn't say what I needed to hear. For instance...1. The sleeve that attaches to surfaces, how does it attach? Magnets, foam stickers? Etc... 2. How does the toothpaste taste? Too much baking soda? Enough mint? 3. Is the vabration strong, weak?
Hi Jocelyn - thanks for watching! I'm sorry I couldn't get to all of your questions during the video. The sleeve attaches to the surface with foam stickers. The toothpaste is a light mint taste - personally I like the taste as it's not too strong/overpowering. The vibration is probably low-medium (it's strongest when the battery is fresh). Hope that helps!
This is a great review. I'm sold. I'm going to buy this for my lunch pail. Thanks for the info. Also I think you are very attractive, but I'm engaged. So please don't take it so bad. Sometimes we can't get what we want. I'm confident that you will find that right person. I'm going to leave now. Please... don't, just let me go.
boxbuyer2008 don’t... the toothbrush doesn’t vibrate, the base does and your hand absorbs the “vibration”. You are spending 30 dollars on a dollar store bristle manual toothbrush
This tooth brush is terrible. Sonic is much better. Returning it is even worse than the product. Phone # goes to vm and you have to jump through hoops to find out how to return. Oh yeah they charge you to return it. Dont waste your time
Why do you insert the word “like” between words in a sentence multiple times? Plus, the up talking? It makes you come across as if you’re not sure of yourself when speaking in public. I presume you want to be taken seriously in your presentation. Just a suggestion, you might want to take a public speaking course or join Toastmasters.
Just a heads up, when you replace the head... take the old head and scrub the inside of the handle and stuff with it.
I don’t even know why am I watching this video! I already bought this toothbrush hahaha can’t wait to get it
I'm in the same boat haha. Bought it using Joe Rogan's promo code, and can't wait to get it.

Good to hear!
Has your dental hygienist said your teeth and gums look any better? Thank you for the review.
I like this and I don’t mind sticking it anywhere, I’m jus concerned about it being out in the open
Yeah, I don't ever store my toothbrushes in the bathroom. Kind of a hassle, but I don't care to have those bathroom germs on my toothbrush. 😉
Love the review. You're videos are amazing. You are so fun to watch.

Oh interesting - I didn’t realize the manual toothbrush had all of the electrical components. Thanks for the tip!
I've been at the website and have had a very difficult time understanding the price and subscription service.
The prices are as marked on each model, and you don't have to buy the toothpaste, just the brush heads, which are WAYYY cheaper than the Sonicare.
IKR same
Great review. I bought one because of you.
I'm glad it was helpful!
How does the handle feel? Does it have a slippery plastic feel or a rubbery grip feel to it?
Hi :) Do they send a battery with the refills as well? Or just the original package?
Yes! The refills include a new battery

Nice!
Now in walmart good start for 2021
Do you think the metal base would be easier to keep clean of toothpaste build up then the plastic version? Great review! ❤️
Hmm, I feel like the cleaning would be pretty similar, but potentially! Thanks for watching :)

Thanks for watching! I did learn that the issue that affecting my brush would potentially be covered under the Quip warranty, but you do need to have an active subscription plan in order for it to qualify.
You are supposed to change your toothbrush every 3 months
The off brand brush heads didn't work in my Sonicare. They barely vibrated, they were useless. The brush heads in my SOnicare have gotten so expensive, I will try the Quip.
@@aliribeiro8998 Brush head.
I just subscribed!! So do you like this toothbrush still? I'm thinking of buying one soon.
If you're looking to buy one that's worth it, i'd suggest burst if money is tight and you're looking for an electric toothbrush. Quip literally does nothing....it's a manual with a nice hand massager, don't waste your money.
I do still use and like it!
Do you prefer the metal or plastic toothbrush? I like the color green but it’s only in plastic lol.
I like both - it’s really just a style preference :) I like the green as well so I would say I prefer the plastic if I had to choose.
Would love to hear reviews from those who have sensitive teeth. Thanks in advance.
Great video I was on the fence but I think I’ll get one.
Sarah, you are so kind, we will see what happens! Thanks for all your reviews!
I think you may be on to something, Rhiannon. They say we only need a pea size amount of toothpaste. I use that amount, and after 3 months' use, I had no build-up, so maybe...?
I just picked one up today at target. My mom will prob get the package without the toothpaste
Soaked LED good the tooth paste dosent even have fluoride in it
Is the sticky strip on the holder restickable?
I rinse mine when it starts losing stick. Once it dries, it is as good as new. So far.
How long have you had it?
It resticks. I’ve dismounted mine from my mirror at least 8 times in the past year for travel and it’s still going strong! I just wet the strip and pat it dry. I found it won’t stick right away after you dry it; I let it stand overnight so it air-dries completely and by the morning, it’s ready to be remounted.
Wait... PEOPLE BRUSH THEIR TEETH IN THE SHOWER?
Great review, just got mine two weeks ago. Magical.
Thanks! And glad to hear you are liking it!
Those tooth brushes are warranted for life, when yours went wonky you should have went after them and they most likely would have sent you a new one.
I realized that after but definitely will do that next time if necessary 😊
@@MissSarahEK Awesome! Are you still using this tooth brush? I have been looking at possibly getting one but I am on the fence. I'm afraid the brush part will be too big as my mouth is a bit small... lol. Or the power won't be enough for me (never used an electric before)
Yes I still use it! I would say it’s on the gentler side of electric brushes. As far as the size, the brush part is about the size of a typical manual toothbrush for reference.
You did a good job on the video thanks I ordered one today
Thanks - I hope you like it!
Do you like plastic or metal better version better?
I haven't actually tried the metal version, but the plastic version has worked well for me! I think it just depends on your personal style preference.
After brushing. Can I wash it just like that without taking off the head?
Yes! I do that every time by rinsing the head under running water. I probably wouldn’t recommend submerging in water or over-doing the washing though just to avoid getting the battery wet.
@@MissSarahEK got it. Tnx
Was Quip not willing to replace it for you under warranty?
Erinna Lawson Good to know - thanks for sharing! I will definitely keep that in mind for next time.
What about the toothpaste? What did you think of that?
I think the toothpaste is pretty average mint toothpaste to be honest, but it’s convenient to have it included!
So cute, but don't you think Sonicare is the same thing?
I think they are similar but not the same. Sonicare is a lot bulkier and takes up space on the counter with a charging chord.
My dentist says sonicare the best and i give her a ton of money
Stacy give any one a ton of money and they’ll tell you what you want to hear. Get a third party non biased opinion (different dentist )
I have tried the quip for a while now to be honest I don't think the vibration does anything. Its not like a regular electric toothbrush
I agree that's definitely not as strong of a vibration as other toothbrushes
how many subscribers do you have? Just curious and I can't find it on your channel.
4.6k currently
Miss Sarah E K cool! Good luck!
That white sleeve thing can go over the head you don’t have to use the big tube
Yes, very true! That a great option as well; personally I just don't like using the white tube since I would have to remove it from the wall which might cause some of the stickiness to be lost.
Actually you don’t loose any of the sticky ness I have taken it on many trips and thrown it in the suitcase
Thanks Pam!👌🏻
(This Is an honest and fair review. I should have watched until the end.)
This may very well be a legitimate review from an honest and well meaning young lady, but it just across to me as a commercial.
To answer your questions specifically:
(1) The device does not charge.
I personally keep mine in the plastic
You can keep a toothbrush cover on it and place it on the mirror I keep one on it. You can also keep it in the plastic cover. One thing that can help is practicing closing the lid on the toilet. You can lift it back up once it's done flushing if you want to be courteous. 👍
turn it on. what does it sound like?
it is like a humming sound and vibrates.
This is near impossible to open up to get the battery out. It takes brute force just to open it up and there are no illustrations or directions as to how to overcome this design flaw.
susan semlow I’m having the same problem I can’t get mine to open no matter what
@@flobrez2470 Bend, don't pull.
I got the quip tooth brush and I don’t know how to open my tooth brush to put the batteries 😭
You press doen carefully with both hands, dont press the power button. Press it like you are trying to snap it off and a little Backwards,it'll feel like you are going to break it kwards
Can you tell us the ingredients of the toothpaste?
Active ingredient is sodium monofluorophosphate 0.76%. Inactive ingredients are calcium carbonate, sorbitol, water, sodium laurel sulfate, hydrated silica, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, flavor, sodium silicate, sodium benzoate, sodium saccharin. If you don’t want to use their toothpaste, you can do a plan with only the brush heads and no toothpaste :)
Do you have a referral code?
Yes! It should be in the description box. Thanks for watching :)
A pity they don't have a rechargeable version.
Use a rechargeable battery
You can get a solar panel charger for it on the web page and it has a USB option for quick charge too. They have come up or out with much more sense the video was made maybe
Honestly Miss Sarah 😎
Love this review!
Thank you ☺️
Ordered mine today 😎
Don’t get the quip you can buy a tooth brush with more vibration at dollar general for 3$
I like the less vibration.
Good review.
Those other toothbrushes are bigger because they are way more powerful and actually break up plaque and tartar. Quip is not powerful enough and is only a little better than a manual brush.
Thanks for the comment 👍🏻 glad you are liking your current toothbrush 😊
Is quip battery powered?
Yes it is!
Strong?
I would say it’s on the gentler side - probably not the strongest toothbrush you can find.
So after hearing the vid no a word about how good of a job it does .
Spartan J I actually do talk about this...I said it does a good job and my dentist always says my teeth look clean
small, easily portable, automatic refills
you are not askling the right questions, especially if you clean your teeth every day
$40 initial purchase today FYI
It depends on the type of brush you get - the metal finish is $40 upfront, but the plastic one that I have is only $25 initial purchase for the brush+paste subscription plan. Thanks for watching :)
I want to know hard hard the Brussels are
I would say medium hardness
Miss Sarah E K thank you very much for going the extra steps and answering comments
Miss Sarah E K pretty god damn please marry me
Miss Sarah E K I git the quip returned it you can buy a tooth brush with more vibration at dollar general for 3$
"Brussels"? That's a city in Belgium - you even capitalized it. I believe what you're asking about are "bristles."
And, no toothbrush requires more than a dab of toothpaste:
ruclips.net/video/9AM5ff4LyQY/видео.html
Hi Martin - I haven’t had any issues with the battery running out between the 3 month shipments (not sure if I said the wrong battery type in the video? I will have to double check!) Either way, using the batter for 4 minutes a day hasn’t been a problem. I find that the strength is relatively low compared to other electric toothbrushes, but I don’t find it to be an issue. As far as the holder sticking to the wall, I think you should be able to take it off cleanly, but I don’t think it will retain a lot of its stickiness if you try to restick multiple times.
Thank you.
It’s a AAA battery
Hi Martin! I just finished my first 3 months last week on the 16th of September, and the battery died right on time. Trouble is, my new one won't be here until Monday the 24th, so they're 8 days late. That's amazing timing, but I may have to get on them for their tardiness! 😉
Subscription makes sense when disposal is predetermined.
I couldn't get a word in edgewise.
Great review video!
Thanks for watching :)
I think I broke mine. The head breaks free of the base while I’m brushing my teeth. I don’t want to buy a whole new kit (like you).
I think that should be covered under the warranty if you have an active plan (something I didn’t realize originally when I bought a new set 🙁)
@@MissSarahEK Oh! Thanks :)
First you say you have used this 2 years, then you say 3 years!!!!!!! Which is it
Did I say 3 years? If so I meant 2 years...I placed my first order on Feb 28, 2016 - which was just a over 2 years before I posted this video. But now it's been 4 years and I'm still using it!

THE TOOTH PASTE DOSENT HAVE FLUORIDE IN IT AND THE BRUSH DOSENOT VIBRATE MUCH
That’s not actually true - their toothpaste does include fluoride. Here is a snippet from their website « Our toothpaste includes the right amount of fluoride to be absorbed by your enamel, and has earned the ADA Seal of Acceptance. » . And you are right that the vibration is pretty gentle 👍🏻
Miss Sarah E K read the tube right now it’s not in it if it was they would have to put it in the ingredients list
Miss Sarah E K yep every other tooth paste in me house says the precent of fluoride as the first ingredient
Miss Sarah E K ITS NOT EVEN IN THE INGREDIENTS HAVE YOU EVEN READ THE BOTTLE OR DO YOU BELIEVE ANYTHING A COMPANY SAYS
Vibration comes from the handle in all electric toothbrushes fyi
boxbuyer2008 smooth
The bottom part gets yucky because you may be using too much toothpaste. You only need a blob the size of a pea. ✌🏻😁
Hey! I don’t use that much toothpaste, so I don’t think that’s the issue. I think it’s just the small amount that builds up over time.
Ridiculous product. Customer service terrible. Save your money everyone. Use a manual toothbrush. Your welcome.
2 3 years yea i’m not buying what you selling

This tooth brush is terrible. Sonic is much better. Returning it is even worse than the product. Phone # goes to vm and you have to jump through hoops to find out how to return. Oh yeah they charge you to return it. Dont waste your time

Why do you insert the word “like” between words in a sentence multiple times? Plus, the up talking? It makes you come across as if you’re not sure of yourself when speaking in public. I presume you want to be taken seriously in your presentation. Just a suggestion, you might want to take a public speaking course or join Toastmasters.
