Daily Driven Audi RS6 First Wash and Drive

- This is a daily driven Audi RS6 purchased from Delaware and driven directly to the AMMO Studio. The Audi RS6 is the most anticipated car of 2021 with its enormous horsepower, huge rotors, and wide body makes it the most desirable wagon on the car market today. This is its first wash and detail prior to applying a clear bra. I polished the paint as there were a few areas that received damaged from the trakk-wrap that was applied to protect the paint for the drive home. We also polished the calipers and applied AMMO Gelee Wheel Coating. Once done we applied AMMO Reflex Pro to the exterior for insane reflection and paint coating protection over the paint protection film. For a full list of products visit www.ammonyc.com. Thx for watching! -L

As someone from Germany I never knew the car was such a rarity and 'looker' in the US. But I guess wagons are rather rare there.
It's just the fact that you couldn't get any RS6's in the US since 2006 until now.
@@kanqquperze i think its more towards youre rather having mini vans and SUVs than station wagons
@@musikdrengen02 Sure, but in the US they had no choice either way. The car was literally not available at all in the US for the longest time until now.
@@kanqquperze well, I'm sure there a lot of cars that you can't buy in Europe, but I still wouldn't look if a Ford Taurus SHO were on the street.
@@nils1953 Of course you wouldn't, because there is nothing to look at in a Ford Taurus. The RS6 Avant on the other hand is rather pleasing to look at.
Hey Larry!
I’m a professional ergonomist and I have a suggestion that should help save your back some trouble: pick up a hydraulic table cart from a hardware store and stick the wheel stand on it. Should make it so that you don’t have to bend over as much when cleaning wheels. They’re not too expensive, like $200 for a 500 lb rated cart.
Love the videos!
Gotta save the back. Appreciate it :)
Also, get in the gym with a competent coach if you haven't already. Resistance training with appropriate loads tends to reduce pain responses over time.
I’ll take you up on that thanks bro haha great idea
Rs6, one of the few cars that just the stock rims we look and be like “wow that’s dope”
@Ross it’s not shite, it’s opinions, the others are awesome too. It’s just that rs6 stock rims are something else xD
@Ross did you not hear him say the aftermarket wheels were for the winter? The owner lives in an area where there is snow and this salt on the roads. So it makes sense to swap your nice wheels for something else so as not to screw them up.
But you’re clearly to stupid to listen or understand that I guess. 😂
@Ross have you ever driven on roads in the northeast USA in the winter? I wouldn’t be trusting ceramic coating or ppf lol. Also, maybe he already had a spare set of rims and tires that worked for the car so why not just swap em anyway?
@Ross also you missed the whole point of my comment. No one said they swapped the rims Bc they looked better. It’s very common for people in the NE USA to swap rims in the winter. Why? Bc they want too. Not Bc they necessarily look better. And PPF and ceramic coating does wonders to protect against potholes I’m sure. How stupid are you?
@Johnny Chimpo nah. You need a tissue?
Hey Larry, cheers from India. Thanks for being my detailing tutor. I see a lot of comments that tell you to make the videos artistic rather than educational. It is my humble request to you to not heed to those advices. The education that you provide us is distilled from years of experience and is sacred for anyone who's looking to detail professionally. I hope to see new ammo training academy videos in the future. Subbed to you long ago, don't seem like I'm gonna go anywhere for the longest time.
It’s crazy how hyped Americans are for the RS6. I feel like In Europe it’s like oh look an RS6 nice but I’ve seen 1000 before
@Johnny Chimpo well obviously it doesn’t apply to all Americans but I’ve seen quite a large amount of excitement from the US online about them and see multiple in videos plus Larry mentioning it so there is a fair amount of hype for it clearly.
I’m with you though I agree
@Johnny Chimpo totally agree!
Fantastic job as always Larry, what an amazing beast of a car this is; the wheels and the brakes sized like on a double deck bus (we have 22.5” wheels on the double deckers)! I don’t think any of the RS6 drivers experience this kind of nice, friendly waving and warm welcoming in the UK or in Europe though... It was nice to see this kind of excitement that you’ve had on the roads over there! 🤩
More likely to face aggression from jealous people in the UK, such as verbal abuse and gestures with hands and fingers. Very sad.
@@dogbite5509 it’s not that noticeable in the UK, the new A6 is aggressive as it is so the RS6 doesn’t stand out as much.
Hello 🙋♂️
@@ilikechickensausages2075 - Hello again! 😎🤜🏻💥🤛🏻🤩
@@dogbite5509 Same can be said for driving cars of similar caliber here in Germany.
thoughts and meticulousnesses go into the process are just insane. Love it.
I absolutely love your work. Simply master class.
Your da bomb when it comes to detailing your attention to detail is second to non, love it.
wow larry, you never fail to amaze me with your entertaining content and amazing character :)
For the fourth time and no rebar in the first 3 lays?!?! I'd be pissed with that company, after all the money you spent. Hope you went with a new company. Keep up the gorgeous work!
@Oskar Dirlewanger that's a big screw up
Lol my 14yo sister would know to lay rebar
Larry love the videos and the especially the RS6. I'm lucky enough to own a 2019 RS4 in Sazuka Grey, a little slower and smaller but better handling and still loads of smiles as you mash the loud pedal. I'm not quite as perticular detailing it as you, but I follow your advice, it's 3 years old and not a love mark in sight!
Keep up the great work. I'm stunned that your contractors didn't reinforce your workshop floor!? I'm not a builder or a structural engineer but even I would have questioned it not being done.
This Audi has always been a car to love. Love this video!!
Thank you for covering my dream car. All I read was Audi RS6 and snap clicked!
My dream is literally to have a car lift at home, just for detailing and If I have to fix something in the under carriage🤩
I love the little car facts popping up
The winter wheels look so much better than the stock ones IMO!
Sunday with a good video from AMMO NYC!
I always hit like before even watching
Love the addition of the driving shots
Incredible work. It’s like you work with surgical precision and detail. Fabulous result.
Larry you are the best for following your methods and tips
Such an amazing car My dream is to own One someday
True. Rs6 is something else
Had to pause the video just to say that, the water drip 💧 was everything!!!🔥🔥
You can tell he really loves what he does, doing extra such as protecting the infotainment system just to surprise the owner.
One of my dream cars 😍 amazing videos always 🔥
Great video as always
Love all your videos!
The best as always
This channel is the god damn best on youtube.
Nice car. 😌 Wonderful work as always!
Beautiful job as always
Absolutely love the outro music.
That car is the dream right there 😍
Truly amazing
BBS wheels for the winter 🐐🔥
I hit the thumbs up when I heard the startup
Talk about a beautiful looking car I love it 😍
Saw one today just after watching this!
Super cool car! Wagons are the best!
Great video, that's my dream car!
It sounds so good.
Can't wait for u to see the RS8
Love your videos, I wish I had the same facilities and the time to treat my own cars a bit better.
Gorgeous car!
There's really something about these wagons that people love. lol. Good video!
There really is.. and I don't get it, this thing doesn't excite me at all.. Lol.
@@Sigrafix It's just the cleanest wagon ever built. Feel free to point me towards something nicer though, if you know some.
@@kanqquperze It's not about what's "nicer" I simply don't get the appeal of a wagon... doesn't matter how fast it is or how cool it looks, it's too big and heavy to be sporty and it's too small and stiff to be comfy.. I'm more of a 2 door kind of guy anyway.
Keep up the good work
Hi Larry, just wondered why you don’t take the car for a spin first, then detail it? There’s always a chance all your hard work could be undone otherwise. Great vid pal 👍🏼😉😎👌🏼
porsche 911 turbo s and this beast can happily serve me until the end of my life. masterpieces.
Baddest looking car at Pick-a-Part!
Great car and video
Awesome 👏🏻
Bruh this car just 2 Beautiful
Amazing content, or should I say the best!
These are beasts
Delaware in the building !
He mentioned that the new owner won't be living near the beach/ocean anymore which makes me think he/she may have lived near Reho/Lewes/Dewey or Jersey. Either way that's a super nice Audi.
Bad ass ride.
Awesome car and awesome detailing 💎💯
Thank you!
such a cool car.
The front disks are wild, but those calipers! I've never seen anything like them.
I think the point about a 2 million car needing paint protection implies that the process of correcting the paint should be the final step the dealership does before handing it over to the customer.
Love the video's Larry
i love you best youtuber
I have a A6 and I love it. Thats what brought me to this video in the first place haha also im in America so I can really appreciate the Rs6 as I can only wish mine was one. Also the Rs6 grill fits perfectly to the A6. Hope to add more rs6 parts in the future. Only so much you can do though.
I’m glad they tinted the windows
What a ride. It puts my A4 to shame. 😀
Love it… they are a wicked looking car for a wagon… if you saw how my boss treats his most would cry specially for the money in Australia 😂
Been a long time follower. Always enjoy the videos. Did Larry make the full conversion from Meguires pads and polishes to full Rupes pads and polished now???
giving delaware a shout out 😤
Good stuff.
Beautiful car, great job (as usual) The BBS's are way nicer that OEM LOL.
That arm wave means SENDD ITT!
When u have to golf and race with the buddies at 6, but play dad at 7. This is what this car is
Dream car
I give lots of blessings from my part all the way from down south pharr Texas I been doing carwash for my entire life I love washing cars I seen videos on RUclips n some guys don't do the job well like me I work in a car-wash n the guys from the back they just vacumes n wash the cars but they don't detail the inside of the rims or other thing they don't put effort on the paint even the door jams they don't wash them for me I wash my clients at home I put all my effort on their vehicles I want them to go home satisfied n happy how I do my job keep it up bro.
I really wish these special gifts that are beautiful and fast vehicles still had a manual option. Regardless of how much money I had to spend on a vehicle, I'm not buying a car with 550HP without a stick shift. It just takes away from that special feeling I get when driving a phenomenal car.
crazy to think you guys only had this model rs6 the last gen and the one before with the v10 was insane
Lovely stuff, I really enjoy the RS6's, they're quite popular in the UK.
An unrelated question for you Larry; I've never really seen you use a Rupes Mille and I wondered why/what your thoughts were in them?
Fantastic job, I would say you don’t need to do this to any car really, but if you have the money, and the OCD, go for it! Remember, cars are for driving, a blemish is a memory that any car will accumulate :)
Nice ring
Dream car (realistic lol) 🤩😍
Hi Larry. Hello all the way from England. Just wanted to say your passion is remarkable and I always look forward to watching a new video upload of yours. Keep up the great work....... I’m going to attempt to give my tardy Audi A6 Avant C7 with 230,000 miles on the odometer a complete make-over. I have no idea what I’m doing as it’s my first time with a polisher in my hands so wish me luck!
Larry I’m out here in California near Sacramento and I was on the road right behind a truck load of brand new Corvettes talk about wrapping the car from the factory the whole Corvette is wrapped with that white plastic from the factory everything including the rims the wheels pretty impressive but then I was thinking oh my God dealer prep removing that rapping!
❤️ RS6
Bbs wheels for winter:DDD
That ride is sick nasty
What a bummer about the floor! Hope to see new videos soon!
LOVE YOUR WORK I WISHI WAS THERE BUT IM IN IRAN XD really good job! ( keep going up +)
I know about a water bed, but you had a WATER FLOOR, Larry my dude? 😂 Hope things back to normal soon. 👍🏽
Nice shout out to Delaware. It's the little things. Lol
Shout out to Delaware!
I'd rather have the E63S Wagon, this is still an awesome car. Currently I have an XFS Sportbrake which IMO looks the best of the three but definitely lacks the performance when compared to these two monsters. Great video
Hi! Thanks for the video. But regarding the ceramicbrakes and washing? I have the same brakes on my S8 and understand that you need to wash them without and alkaline or acidic wash soapes. Still you are using wheel soap ? Whats your taking on the question ?
nice
Cool ride. I got to test a fully refurbished c.2007 Audi All Road in Europe. That was a fun wagon particularly on the highways but the owner said it was always in the shop and very expensive to maintain.
nice PPF glasses you got there ;). The RS Would be best in purple/blue color
9:00 this is my favorite background song by far
Anyone know the name of it? It would fit perfectly in my chill playlist I use when I do something that takes a long time. Usually homework or a long run
This is one of the best detailers on RUclips
Not one of.....he is the best. Hands down. Pan, the detail geek, Apex, or Stauffer garage don't go to the lengths of this guy, like polishing door jams or even doing 3 stage paint corrections.
When your winter wheels are nicer then your summers
AUDI
In a week time, me and a friend need to restore a ship. Its 11 meter long and about 80m². I already did a cutting step on it and waxed it last year, but we wanted to do more. Can you give any advice? We are thinking about a wetsand step with 1500 grid x-cut rupes (125mm) and then a heavy cut with a microfiberpad and finish it with a finish mediumfoampad. After it all coat the ship in gel coat form Gyeon. We have 2 LHR 15 mark 3 and a LHR75e, the ship is clean and is in a clean wearhouse. Great video again and good luck!
