That looks a lot of boat for 10K. I really like it. And I really like the video. It is nice to see someone that I can identify with. I will never have 500K to spend on a boat, so although it is nice to see content of people living on them, your boat makes me think, "Could I do that?". And don't apologize for the video. I watched it, and only thought, "Wow, that looks great!" Liked the music too. I have yet to see your later productions, but I doubt they will be any better than this. Truly, this gets 10 out of 10 from me.
You guys seem to have a safety conscious and courteous attitude, which I found refreshing. As with Dylan's videos, I appreciate it when you give a little historical overview of some of the places that you visit. I appreciate that you worked so hard to whip your boat into shape.
Thanks for letting us in to see your boat/home. It is a cool looking Tiny sailboat. The take away was you two were very much enjoying the freedom. Keep on, and enjoy the ride of adventures...

Hi, Don't apologize for the video quality. It is brilliant. Content is far more important than quality and your is a really good video. I'm currently in the market for a boat. All the best!
I thought the "sound effects" were one of the best bits of this one -- told me that I'd probably prefer a monohull, built of either wood or ferrocement. Having just come across this video I have just seen the date - So I have a few years to catch up on. Most impressed by your get up and go attitude. I know you started in 2017, but best of luck with your sailing and you have another subscriber! ps. Neat little cat you have their. I've never liked them, but your's has a strangely appealing nature about her, but maybe that due to her owners.
Excellent first episode. Just stumbled upon your channel and enjoyed it very much. Such a charming little catamaran..so many nooks and crannies and terrific use of space. I follow many other sailing channels and focus on genuine people sharing their experience. You have a new subscriber...well done👍
Thanks so much Gaz! We had no idea what we were doing with the videos back then, but if you can endure the first few ones, we promise they get better 😊🙏🏻
Sailing Kittiwake Well that's even more impressive then. I do a lot of videography (cycling mainly) so I know what goes into the storyboard development, production and editing. I'll do a bit of binge watching to catch up. Look fwd to future episodes. I also follow RAN Sailing, Adventures of an old sea dog, Sailing UMA, Shaggy Seas and Project Atticus...they're excellent as they have a great blend of destination tourism/information (costs of fuel/food/marina etc), maintenance projects, sailing experiences/challenges and navigation planning etc. More importantly, they're genuine people and you both fit into that category. Chapeau👍
Wow thank you! We love those channels - they’re a massive inspiration for us. It is a lot of hard work and it was a massive learning curve for us, as we never shot or edited a video before this one. Hopefully the learning we’ve done will really show in season 2, coming in June 😊
Great video, great boat. Your channel has a lot of potential. As good or better than SV Delos or Vagabond. Looking forward to your next video. Thanks for sharing.
What a lovely boat you have. Fantastic cruising layout. I shall watch your adventures with interest as I intend to take a similar route myself in the near future. Also, on a tight budget. Good luck.
I have a Mirage 28. Also a sub £10K boat. I did a shakedown cruise round the West Country for 8 weeks earlier this year (April and May - I put some videos up). I now need to do a mini refit plus add some long distance items - boat is currently on the hard. My original plan was to set off this year, but it looks more like Summer next year.So I will be very interested to see where you go and where you stop off.
Sailors and their plans, right? But the time you'll put in the refit and upgrading will definitely be worth it. We subscribed to your channel so we can catch up on your videos when we have decent wifi. From the channel trailer, it seems we have a very similar ethos, so we'll follow with interest when you set off. Best of luck with your refit!
Wow. What an amazing adventure and such a cute little Cat. We were looking at the Gemini 105mc series to do something similar but ended up in a monohaul instead for head height.

I just found your Vlog and I am so glad I did. Love everything about it. Wonderful video. Appropriate music. Can't wait to see the next chapter. May God grant you fair winds, calm seas and safe achorages at the end of every passage.
the Old Coastie.
+John J Cox III thanks ever so much for your kind words John! We look forward to share our adventures with you. Elena ans Ryan
Great video and a very nice boat. wish you the best of luck
9mm james thanks so much James. All the best to you too!
Hi Elena and Ryan, great video! It's lovely to see you guys properly and we feel like we have met you already now! We love Kittiwake and the work that you have done and your camerawork is stunning. I'm sure you will get a great following when you keep posting videos documenting your journey. We can't wait to share an anchorage with you one day! Fair winds, Chris & Rossella
p.s. Elena, your accent is ridiculously good and you speak better English than lots of Brits I know!
Sailing Britaly wow so many compliments guys! Thanks so much ❤ We still have a lot to learn in terms of filming, editing and YouTubing 😃 but hopefully we'll learn along the way 😊 we really hope to be able to meet you out there soon 😊 Buon vento!
That’s so sweet! Thanks so much Peter! We hope you’ll enjoy watching our journey.
I like what you two are doing. Enjoy each day as it comes.
+Thomas Perdue thanks so much Thomas! 😊
Sailing Kittiwake Excellent👍
Great video! Thank you for sharing. Writing from St Petersburg, Fl.

Wishing you both
Fair winds and calm waters
And all the very best for 2020
And Forever. 🌟⛵️🌟😊😊🌍🍷🍷
Thanks Boo! Happy New Year!
Great video, great boat. Your channel has a lot of potential. As good or better than SV Delos or Vagabond. Looking forward to your next video. Thanks for sharing.
Wow thanks so much! ☺️
This is the first ever video we made, so we’re slowly learning and improving as we sail (we hope!).
Easy to beat out SV, but LaVagabond? Class of their own.
Our first yacht was a Heavenly Twins in 1976. Crossed the Med in it! Great video, lot's of good ideas!
Wow! That’s lovely. I bet it gifted you with lots of good memories 😊
What a lovely boat you have. Fantastic cruising layout. I shall watch your adventures with interest as I intend to take a similar route myself in the near future. Also, on a tight budget. Good luck.
+Just about sailing thanks a lot! And that's great to hear! What boat will you cruise on? And when are you off?
Never seen a cat with that kind of setup. I like it
You've sold me at this introduction 👌, can't wait to watch the rest.. and you are doing this on £500 per month 😳😳😳😳
Haha yay! 😊 Thanks. Hope you enjoy the rest of the videos 😊 The filming and editing gets better towards ep 11/12 onwards 😊
Totally great 1st video. Watching from Westerly Rhode Island . USA. Mike
Thanks Mike! They improved a lot over the years, promise 😊

Great video. Love the catamaran!
Wow. What an amazing adventure and such a cute little Cat. We were looking at the Gemini 105mc series to do something similar but ended up in a monohaul instead for head height.
Hi guys, I love your boat and think you found a real gem at a great deal. Your video and editing skills are very good, have you done this before? I'm looking forward to watching your adventure. May you have fair winds and following seas.
+Tim K hi Tim! Thanks for the compliments! Nope, we've never sailed or filmed/edited before. We're learning as we go along and hope to improve the more we do it 😊 Fair winds to you!
Great video , love the natural charm . Good luck guys and wish you all the best life has to offer.
Thanks so much Herbert! Fair winds!
What a cleverly designed boat, very coo...sail on
+R Riddle thanks a lot! 😊
