I think it’s easy for people to forget how different it was back then and how all this is very new! People didn’t really know how to react if they became viral especially for a negative thing so I’m not surprised he went a little bit mad in interviews even if it did backfire

actually its not that much different to being bullied or ridiculed in real life. if you over react to it you get it 10 fold, but if you take it in stride or don't let it bother you then people get bored and move on. I guess the difference is that it is severely amplified by the internet. I think today is bit scarier on the internet with cancel culture becoming a big thing though.

I actually meet the guy in person years ago when Bitcoin started as some idiot scammer was using address as well as a few other and he was trying to track the guy down. Shockingly I found the guy as he screw me over as well, so had his old address and was able to track him down. The guy not a bad guy at all and show me how bitcoin works in detail and how to make money trading and mining it at the time.
