Glad you find them helpful. A tribal going UP against Rome. Whew. That's a challenge. For 95% of cases I'd flat out say "don't try this." but I will take a look at the surrounding nations and see if any of them might stand a chance against early-game Rome.
I love this game but one thing that I hate is how a lot of things don’t look like buttons but are. I have about 100ish hours and I didn’t know about things like dedicating lands for holy sites and I still probably don’t know a lot of others, another thing I do often is that I forget to make settlements into cities because I always think the portrait is just that and not a button. Some times watching noob content is a godsend lol.
In 1.0 a lot of those buttons were clearer, funny enough. So I never understand all the complaints about 1.0 XD 2.0 UI streamlined things, but obscured a lot of things in the process. Took me so long just to find how to make a city when I tried 2.0. I thought they had removed it as a feature.
I'm completely new to Imperator, having only played CK3, EU4 and Hoi4 before. The tutorial was kinda meh so I found your video and it really helped. Thanks alot !
Switch your tribute to low at the beginning. You don't make money off of it anyway and it will buff your feudatory relations which can help in the early game.
Hey Kong, not sure if you covered this but could you do a video about how to play barbarians in Spain? Specially, on how to get tech up quickly and getting things prepared to take on the superpowers Carthage/Rome.
Barbarians in Spain...preparing for Carthage, especially. Rome doesn't usually go that way until much much later. Yeah, that's a good idea. Though it's a tough one. Especially if you don't ally with Rome (or vice versa). I can probably make a video on how to survive as them from, I assume, not a migratory tribe perspective, but that one is *definitely* a challenge.
@@KonglomeratYT his channel is 'Laith - TheSocialStreamers'. Not sure what you mean by size i this context. Number of views pr. video or number of subscribers? I've seen him do co-op with channels that are much smaller than his own.
I have never seen that in the base game. Ceding, as in, they were threatened and conceded a territory? I have never seen the AI even utilize this feature.
I love your videos! How about a video covering a tribal nation going against Rome early, like Apulia?

You think you're still not a noob at 100hours in a a paradox game? How cute

Happy to hear it could help. The default tutorial is useless XD

Very helpful ! Thank you !

You should do a guild on each government type.
I have a guide dedicated to all the government types combined in the playlist.
Are you using any mods in this video?? I love your breakdown btw very nice
Nope zero mods. If you buy the game then you will immediately be able to follow along with this guide. Glad you enjoyed it.
How about Carthage for the next guide?
Sounds feasible. That's another beginner friendly nation, but with a much different playstyle.
It’s 7 am and I’m going to hit the Roman griddy. If I’m feeling spicy I may be even hit the Eastern Roman imperial griddy
You should do a co-op stream with Laith.
I don't believe I know of him. Does he often collaborate with channels of my size?

I will check it out and potentially shoot him a message to ask.
In my game Lucania and Samnium keep ceding provinces to Apulia and Tarentum for no apparent reason, is it a bug?
I have never seen that in the base game. Ceding, as in, they were threatened and conceded a territory? I have never seen the AI even utilize this feature.
@KonglomeratYT Sorry, I am using the invictus mod, I think it may be an event chain for Samnium and Lucania.
Thank you!
Yeah I hear Invictus is like another game. I don't know how compatible my guides are with it.
Maybe you can cover Athens or one of the Greek city states next time?:)
I've already recorded one as Macedon. It covers their unique starting situation. I think Athens starts out as a subject?
