    One tip i found on my own: I couldn't figure out why my money was disappearing and going in the negative as I took new Lands. I discovered that the AI built forts everywhere. So I had to deconstruct a bunch of those forts because they were creating a huge amount of maintenance costs. Went from negative 5 to positive 8 per month.

      Yeah always look over newly gained territories and clean house before continuing! Sort what you want vs what you don't want.

      Also navy cost is huge on full pay so if I forget to reduce them it drains income and you need at least 50-60 ships to comfortably hop around and not die at sea to Carthage or Egypt and pirates early game.

    what happens when you have a stack of armies legions levies all together and you attack, which tactics do they use?

    • @KonglomeratYT

      I believe they use the tactics of the stack with the highest level commander. At least, I am confident the highest level commander leads the fight.

    • @KonglomeratYT
      @KonglomeratYT  3 месяца назад

      It prioritizes your selection across all stacks before anything else. Even when you stack different stacks. Otherwise it puts the most expensive base cost units up front, and the highest maneuver units on the flank. The armies deploy independently in order of arrival to where you moved them. They do not mix deployments.

    Something I've been curious about, do you get more people in a levy from more integrated pops or does it have to do with the number of people in a accepted culture?

    • @KonglomeratYT
      @KonglomeratYT  2 месяца назад

      Military size is determined by integrated cultures; primary, or otherwise. Also your military law. Legions/levies will have the same size if under the same law.

    • @christianwhite8877
      @christianwhite8877 2 месяца назад

      I was asking if you get a larger levy from multiple integrated cultures or one culture that assimilated the local cultures in the area, not trying to sound rude or anything but also I was aware about the laws that affect levy size (I think there might also be a few innovations that improve army size)

    • @KonglomeratYT
      @KonglomeratYT  2 месяца назад

      All that matters is total integrated pops. In the short term, multiple integrated cultures will always mean more integrated pops, and thus a bigger army size. In the long term, there are pros and cons to integration to consider instead of assimilating. I have a culture guide in the playlist to assist with that decision.

      @@KonglomeratYT thanks for the information. I've been wandering about this for a while. and the way i see it, in the game it's worth integrating specific cultures for military bonuses and assimilating what remains

    So I just bought the game on sale a week or so ago, and only recently got the chance to sit down and take a wack at it (it's a bit overwhelming) I don't have nearly as many map mode options as you do, in fact I have less than half of them. So I take it you have all the DLC? Do you have any essential DLC recommendations? Not sure how much DLC is available for imperator, as I havent checked the store yet.

    • @KonglomeratYT
      @KonglomeratYT  8 месяцев назад

      I have zero dlc and I recommend none of them. There is a little cog wheel next to your map modes where you can select map modes to customize your bar with. No need to spend a dime =)

      Assimilate pops or embrace cultures if you have low province loyalty. Embracing cultures also gives you access to their marital tradition branches
      If you're afraid of a civil war, you may do a micro civil war to gain significant bonus 45!!! loyalty to all characters, just bring to trial some unloyal governor and hope trial fails so one-sided civil war begins. Make sure not many governors are disloyal
      But if you capture some noble of great families, don't sell him to slavery to not anger his relatives

      @@NezerCz I do that the more I assimilate the more they rebel. I played with the few tools given and they don’t work. Kept the leaders happy they still turned on me in the middle of wars. The I like history and the rebellions remind me of 300 AD not 150 BC. Seems like a gimmick to build up the hours. The more I tried to manipulate happiness and loyalty the more they rebelled. Even EU wasn’t this bad. Cant make much money either even working the bells and whistles. War score system may work in 1700 but not in the game period. Thanks I’ll go back sooner or later and try again. I moved on to more historical stuff.

      @edmundcowan9131 I've been playing a campaign in Albion playing tall, and from what I've found you always want to convert pops to your religion first. I don't have concrete numbers, but ive found that pops of the same religion are far less likely to rebel, even if they're a different culture. 2nd, to prevent governers from starting civil wars, make sure your capital region is the most robust, developed, and populated region of your empire. If they feel like their region has a big enough power base, then they'll be far less loyal

    Went to support a rebellion and conquered
    All Africa but could not make piece because of a thee year allied rule. Thee months later the ally was eliminated and peace was automatic with me getting a white peace. The forty territories I conquered went back to Carthage while I was stuck fighting the civil war for another year while Carthage recovers. Absolutely crap zero realism and terrible game play. The game has potential but needs some adult management and testing
