Well done Faith's family for being such beautiful souls. Every life, no matter how short, is worth nurturing and loving. RIP little peanut - we all love you x x
Thank you, Claire. I agree completely!Every life is precious and although Faith was with us briefly, she taught us so much. Such a blessing to have been part of her life.💗
Fantastic story about litlle Faith ! She was so thankful and kissed you for care. 💕 I cried when she went away 😭 . But she was very sick. What a pity! 😰 🐇🐇🐇
Thank you, Maria. We will always remember Faith for the joy she brought into our lives. She was such a sweet bunny. Knowing she’s in a good place now, free from pain, gives us comfort.🙏🏻💗
Thank you for doing your upmost to give Faith the best chance of survival. If love could’ve saved her, she would have most certainly lived. She passed away peacefully feeling nurtured and loved. RIP little one ❤
Just saw this. So loving and touching. Tried hard well done she was definitely in good hands up until the end and she knew. Rest in peace little Faith ❤🙏
Aww the little love, thank you for doing what you could for her you could tell she loved you and knew you were trying to help though she probably didn’t understand why she didn’t feel good. Sweet baby 💔❤️🩹
Aww…Thank you. As soon as we realised she was a peanut, we did all we could to make her feel comfortable. She was the sweetest bunny ever and deserved all the love and kindness we could give her.💗
Wow this had me in tears! I am currently hand feeding our peanut baby who is just 2 days old. You did an amazing job with faith my she rest in peace with her siblings xx 💖
Im so sorry little faith did not make it. U tried with ur complete heart for faith to go on. Hope mom is ok is, it has to be sad for her. Im so happy she tried to help her and let faith know she was there Thank God. U faith's mom for sure tried to help, love, was there, did everything she could, showed with love. U gave faith a life of love, companionship, devotion, u never left faith alone. WIth faith response u know she understood ur understanding, and love faith felt for u. My appreciate appreciation for being who u are and caring for adorable baby bunny with ur whole heart. I hope are ok is so hard to take. U are wonderful.....
Well this made me cry ugly tears. What a beautiful little baby, so sad they all don't make it. She was loved from the instant she was born, and she is remembered in her absence! 😥🐰
I know it has been a year but I’m so sorry for your loss 😢 we had our first (only) unexpected litter December 15th 2019. We had 7 babies but one was a peanut and only lived 4 days ❤️🩹 my fiancé and I were devastated, we knew it was going to happen but nothing could prepare us. Over those 4 days I got so attached to him/her, feeding, holding and just constantly checking on him. We did get him cremated so I could always have him with us and we were renting and had no where to burry him. Seeing your video brought all the feels back and I balled like a baby 🥺 so sorry for you loss
Thank you. I’m so sorry for your loss too. It’s never easy caring for a peanut, knowing their slim chances of survival. Still, you and your fiancé did well to care for him/her so well. Thank you for being so kind. Your peanut was lucky to be so loved.💗
Thank you for sharing this, for educational purposes and for sharing her journey with us. This made me want to cry, poor darling 😢 💔 Faith is in a better place now, and good effort to you guys x
Such a touching video. You obviously loved your peanut bunny. By the way she looked for your hand and licked your fingers, she loved you too. So glad you were with her til the very end.
I am so sorry for your loss. You did everything you could for the lovely Faith. I have similar at the moment. I have been praying he was just the runt of the little but after watching your video I fear he is also a peanut :( x
Thank you. I pray that your little one is just a runt, in which case it will just need extra feedings from its mom. If its parents are dwarf breeds, however, and if it stops growing and has bulging eyes, it may be a peanut. Just stay strong and just pamper it with love. Let mom bond with it too. It comforts the baby.
Yes, we did ask the Vet about Critical Care but she advised us to stick to rabbit or goat’s milk for the first two weeks. Sadly, Faith started to lose her appetite after a week. In retrospect, it may have been good to try.😢
I've had 3 babies die recently, it's always so hard letting them go.. r.i.p faith I hope you get all the carrots and loves and pets up their with my lost ones :'(
Oh no! I’m so sorry for your loss. Yes, losing them so young is always heartbreaking. It was hard for us too when Faith left us. We were so hopeful. Rest In Peace to your little bunnies. May they feast on carrots and binky free with Faith.💗
Awwww this makes me so sad. We just had our first litter and a little peanut, who was not even half the size of his/her 9 brothers and sisters. Mama had no milk and we had to feed them all with syringe 2x a day. We got so attached to Lil peanut and we named him/her peanut. Sadly after 4 days he/she passed away. It was a very sad day. Passed away in the night. We have 9 more that are thriving and are now 8 days old. They were our Christmas babies
Oh no! I’m so sorry for your peanut. It is really heart-breaking to lose a rabbit, especially the babies…being so young. We had so much hope for our little one too. I guess in both our cases, we have to find comfort in knowing that we did the best we could for them. It’s really tough when genetics is involved. Still, I must commend you on feeding your new litter! Such a difficult task and for Nine rabbits! Wow! I hope you can share a photo of them when you can! Such an amazing Christmas gift indeed!!!! Congratulations to you and your Mama Rabbit!👏🏻😊
@@popcornash9903 Thankyou ❤️ It is alot of work feeding 9 definitely. So rewarding to see them grow And now have doubled in size and are 9 days old now. I changed my profile pic to them all when they were first born. Yes we did all we could for our peanuts to help them and have such hope they would survive but actually knowing deep down they couldn't, it's heartbreaking. Having to bury a brand new tiny baby bunny is so hard 😞
I feel sorry for bunny Faith. But everything happens for a reason. To handle these sad situations, we must trust in God's plan for every life & everything. We shouldn't feel too sad though, because all creatures return to our creator God. 🙏🏻✨
I mean, in this case the “reason” is that people (not Faith’s family, who were ignorant about reproduction but seem to have done the best they could with the situation they had, but the creators of these rabbit breeds) wanted tiny cute bunnies and didn’t care that the genes that keep them tiny and cute are fatal if a baby gets one from each parent. So keep in mind that when someone breeds dwarf rabbits, they are accepting that up to 25% of them will be like Faith and unable to thrive, unless they breed “false dwarf” individuals without the dwarf gene into the line. This protects against any peanuts being born, but most breeders won’t do it because it also results in some non-dwarf rabbits that are not fit for showing and harder to sell. 😑
I'm so sorry but just remember that faith is with God now in heaven having fun, playing eating hay and having the best time! You did everything right to make her comfortable on her short life on earth 😊
Most probably. We’re not breeders and Faith was part of an accidental litter. But having read up on it since, it is important to know the bloodline/genetics of your rabbits to ensure a litter without peanuts. For families like us who just adopt rabbits not knowing their history, there’s really no telling what gene combinations you’ll get should they breed. Faith is a product of a Jersey Wooly mom and Holland Lop dad, both of which carry the dwarf gene. Apparently, the likelihood of their having a peanut is 25%. We didn’t know this. They mated early at 4 months. If we had to do it again, we would have separated our bunnies at 3 months before having them fixed but of course, we didn’t know that baby bunnies were able to breed so early! Now we know and hope new bunny owners out there will learn from our experience. Still, Faith was a incredible bunny. And as heartbreaking as the experience was for us, we loved her dearly.
It was great of you to care for her and try and give her a chance. That said you should change your thumbnail for the video and also let veneers know how this ends before they view it. Having to explain death to a 3 year old child unexpectedly is not an enjoyable task
Oh dear. I’m so sorry you had to explain such a sad topic to your child! We really thought the description would be enough warning but let me see what we can do about the thumbnail. This video was done in loving memory of Faith and is our way of sharing our personal journey as well as the challenges and realities in caring for peanut rabbits. Sadly, it rarely, if ever, ends well for them due to genetic problems. In the meantime, may I invite you and your child to watch a video we did on the secret life of Popcorn & Ash. It’s a happy video all about our bunny family. I hope this will cheer up your child. Thank you so much for your feedback! ruclips.net/video/XYhP8Yed1HA/видео.html

the rabbit need high fat content for the milk... and you should never touch the body... they are extremely fragile.
