My rabbit throws his water bowl around like a toy 🐰💅-
He's got you well trained, like my cat has done with me!
Literally!
Entitled!
I love when people speak out about how rabbits should be free roamed and given lots of love like this one (and my bunny) since a lot of people don't know and end up making their rabbits depressed just sitting in a cage all their lives.
i have my bunny in a cage, but it's for his own good
Update: we have a new place for him! I just got to wait and see what happens, as I was not part of the conversation
@@erenyeager1660 do you mind explaining?

Mikey is adorable 🥰
The way he tossed his dinner bowl when he was done eating was hilarious 😂
"Get out the way, get out the way beep!" 🤦🏽♀️😂
My bunny enjoyed running and then sliding over the wooden floorboards with momentum until he bumped into the wall. he did this over and over again, just like a kid who is ice skating :D
My cat does the same. Sometimes she miscalculates and bumps into the wall really hard.

Perhaps they start to enjoy it after a certain brain damage. 😂💕

Sounds about right. Rabbits are basically cats that eat grass.

I don’t know if anyone will read this, but I just want to say how much this has made me smile (and tear up) at the same time. Mikey has very much the same traits as my Barney had. I lost my rabbit last year and there isn’t a day goes by that I don’t miss. Love ya Mikey and Barney ❤
I understand you. They're truly special babies, and losing them is like losing a part of you it's hard to heal. I lost my angel 2 months ago, and I'm still crying every day!
It’s okay
Same for my Gadget. I miss him.
I'm sorry. They truly are family. The loss is tremendous.
Same for my Bun Bun.
A lot of people don't realize how much personality rabbits can have, just like cats and dogs! I have two indoor pet rabbits and they really change how people around me see rabbits as pets. They can be a hoot and a half, and are both wildly different from each other. I'm happy to see the joy of bunnies being shared with the world!
The dumbest statement ever. They don't have a personality. That's just your desire for them to be like cats and dogs. Rabbits are meat. That's all.

Breaks my heart when ppl talk about eating rabbits cus i have had so many rabbits as pets. Me and baby daddy have had our 13 pound California rabbit for almost 4 years now, shes a rescue and is litter box trained, comes to us when we tell her to, knows her name, and loves to take naps with us. She even yeets herself around the room mid air like a ninja! Growls and barks! We have so many animals, lots of love. WARNING, THEY WILL CHEW UP YOUR CORDS.
It’s been over 25 years since my rabbit Wendall passed ( he was 10 years old ) and I still miss that beautiful , gentle , funny rabbit
10 years is a good lifespan..ours was 11. Never knew they live that long.
I'm worried now because my boy just turned 9 this month...
7-10 years is the average lifespan of house bunnies. They are safer and happier indoors. Hutches are cruel. Bunnies are so amazing.
Depending what you feed your Rabbits healthy food vegetables longer rabbit live. Some rabbits eat cooked chicken Pork Beef bbq Duck and Lamb.
@@raymondfung1475 they could eat anything but it doesn't mean it's good for them, actually it can kill them
My bunny Cecilia was almost the same as Mikey. She was a puppy dog, in a bunny form. One of the differences is that Cecilia was grooming my family and I all the time. We would be petting her, and she would be grooming our arm. She also liked being held. Whenever she wanted to be held, she would stand on our feet so that you couldn’t walk anymore, and then she would stand on her hind legs. So we would sit down, and she would jump on our legs and get comfortable. So she fell asleep while she was getting attention. She also knew her name, so her recall was as good as a really well trained dog. She always came when called. I really miss her.
We now have a dog, and sometimes she did things that Cecilia did, so she sometimes reminded us of her. She is an amazing dog. She’s also pretty lazy/chill. If you take her for an hour walk, she would sleep for 4-5 hours when getting back home. And just like humans, she never want to fully get of the couch whenever she drops something. She will only move her front legs, and then she would struggle get back on couch just because she didn’t want to get off of it lol
So, what breed/type dog is she? 🐕
Did you eat it? Title says this bunny was raised for meat
@@harshb747 did u watch this video?
@@harshb747 In the US we have people that raise "meat rabbits". They're usually the giant breeds. They also make great pets though, which is what the bunny in this vid is. He isn't food, he's a house pet just like a cat or dog is. Pet parents don't eat their pets.

this makes my heart happy. there's no better companion animal than a house rabbit! I sadly lost mine who lived to be almost 13. he's always in my thoughts and it'll be 10 years in April that he went to the Rainbow Bridge. he brought me many years of happiness and I hope I did the same for him. I'm convinced that's why he lived as long as he did.

God bless you.
13 years? That's amazing! He must have been super healthy and it sounds like you gave him a wonderful life! I'm sure he knew how much you cared for him.
@@ReptilianTeaDrinker free roam, lots of love and fresh veg! he was an amazing companion and my heart is irreparably broken as I'd never bonded with an animal as I did him. I had him cremated so his spirit would always be near. I miss you so much, little man.
I had my bunny for 12 years. I cried SO hard when he passed away. He had an amazingly sweet personality. He slept with our Airedale Terrier, was potty trained and acted more like a dog than a rabbit. He had a cage (there in our living room) and he would go there to have quiet time and we respected him when he went there. It was his sanctuary rather than a cage because the door was always open. He loved people and would run up to greet them. Bunnies are extremely smart and loving!! It's so sad that people don't understand that, when you acquire a pet rabbit, the commitment is as important and long-term as it would be for a cat or dog. They MUST be trained and it takes patience - but it's well worth it in the end! Please remember they get as attached to you as you do to them. ( If you are watching this and are thinking of getting a bunny as a pet - DO IT!!! BUT DO YOUR RESEARCH FIRST!!! There is still a lot of work to taking care of a bunny. )
Your rabbit acted like a rabbit. They are amazingly sweet animals.
Very well said.
So few so their research when getting a rabbit. It kills me.
We have owned pets all our lives and we have never grieved so hard as when we lost our first bunny to a GI issue. I never thought I could get so attached to a rabbit. We tend to raise rabbits that have special needs. Hard work sometimes but very rewarding.
They for sure are loving and loyal and have a personality. I had Pet rabbit for 10 years. Cried so hard when he died. He was my baby. Still miss him so. He's been dead for 14 years my sweet boy😢😢😢 it for sure are worth having a bunny. It takes effort sure,
I love that he was like “screw moving the blue cover!” and just lifted the whole puzzle toy to get his snacks😂 🐰 ❣️
Rabbits are smart.
That's what my little angel did. They're smarter than dogs and cats sometimes!
He's obviously one of the large/giant breeds of rabbit when you look at him, but those bigger breeds do actually end up having more dog-like personalities. And a LOT of rabbits are just as... diva-y as him. This whole video I'm nodding and smiling because my English lop was very similar.
My daughter has a rabbit. I'm blown away by how cool and smart rabbits are, great personality, looks forward to seeing me. Befriend a rabbit you will not be sorry 🙂
Can you imagine this remarkable, personable, distinctive little fellow being raised for MEAT?! Thank goodness he was rescued from that. This family's life would've been much poorer without Mikey, and Mikey, well -- I think he knows he has a good life now.
Seems sad, but rabbits tend to be a very sustainable source of meat. Some cows have funny personalities as well!
Yeah he's cute
But also raised for meat what about it it's good food
@@sleakseal2133 Jeffrey Dahmer might have thought exactly the same about you Sleak. Delicious tasty Sleak!

Mikey has his humans trained, very well. So spoiled, but such a lucky rabbit.
Mikey reminds me so much of my cat. Right in your face when you're eating, doing something bad if you don't get their meal to them right on time. When your husband raises your voice at Mikey for chewing the carpet, the way Mikey reacts is _exactly_ how my cat reacts when I have to stop my cat from chewing my pen. "What? I'm not doing anything!"
She demands to be petted, and in the four years I've had her she has briefly returned the favor about three times.
I love cats, and animals in general, but honestly didn't know rabbits were that smart and that affectionate. I had relegated them to the status of frogs in the sense of pet-ability. Obviously II never tried hard enough with one. Thanks for the education, these critters are really smart and social.
Nah, they're on par with cats and dogs. Even in intelligence. Same with pigeons. They're pretty smart too. Just a bit below crows and parrots.
I’m with you. Same! Had no idea. I thought they were just very, very soft turtles.
@@siyzerix agreed my dog tried to run into a thunderstorm
It's sad and honestly a bit frightening to me when I realize how fully a LOT of these other beings on Earth experience the full spectrum of emotional life...
It's like we can just be so blind when it comes to how we affect others (fellow humans and animals). It might be best to err on the side of caution (pull back on the feelings of entitlement and make humble sacrifices where I can); gotta' keep an honest perspective cuz it's so easy to slip into being so ugly.
Assuming there is some meaning to all this, what is my soul rly about at the end...? Growth, understanding, divine mercy, compassion or merely the tribal base self?
Use it or lose it: Am I worthy of ANY kind of novel spiritual exaltation/power/responsibility or am I the same as a bacterium?
If there is meaning to this whole 'life' thing, I fear the honest meta-dialogue I have with the source. "Narrow is the way, which. leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."
"Do you hear and see the suffering beside you?" "Does the world made sense to you and are you comfy and settled when you have abundance while others were dying from a severe lack?"
"I worked hard for what was MINE, OKAY!"
"Well, let's put you in some other shoes next time and you can compare who has the rougher life..."
"NO! NO, NO... NO... wait..."
just musing :

Um, I don't know anyone who eats rabbit outside of their season or who raises it for meat, lol lot better animals than a nasty ol rodent to eat, that's not a normal thing, there's not like a demand for rabbit meat that sounds like some freaky meth head line of thinking, "I'll raise rabbits to eat so I don't have to pay for food and can buy more meth!"
@@lightpropulsionguy in the village I live are a lot of bunny cages where they sit and grow till they are big enough to eat. Neighbours had rabbits for food when I was a kid (and chicken and they cut of the head outside where my brother and I saw it when we were playing on the swing) but since there lives the third generation, the animals get names and an animal with name won't be eaten.

Mikey reminds me alot of a rabbit I used to have named Wallace. He was a Californian albino, and they are known for making great pets as they have a naturally loving nature. And love he did! Wallace acted very much like a dog. He would come when I called, follow me around, and when I would come home from school, he would run down the sidewalk to meet me. He loved everybody he came into contact with, just like Mikey. Wallace loved affection and loved to return it. When someone was petting him, he would lick their hands or face, just like a dog might. Unfortunately, Wallace passed away during my first year of college and it was very sad for me and my family. I still think about him every day, and miss him so much.

@@susannabonke8552 That lack of that awareness has always been a bit hard for me to intuitively grasp too. I honestly think some individuals lack that centered sense of empathy, where you can truly immerse yourself inside of others and their circumstances.
...And, evidently, it's a lot easier to exist as these individuals (you can fake most casual expressions/displays of empathy ultra-easily. So that's no hardship).

I have an Eastern Cottontail since it was a baby and he is Mikey to a T! I cannot get over this rabbit always wanting what I'm eating specially grapes & bananas. Peter (our rabbit) came to us via my cat, she found the nest and brought a baby rabbit (Peter) inside the house when she wanted in and placed Peter on the carpet Infront of the kitchen sink. I found Peter and placed him/her (not sure if sex our daughter named the rabbit) back in the nest but the mother rabbit rejected it so I took him back in and bottle fed it until it's eyes opened then his was able to eat/drink kitten milk on his own then solids. now after 4 years he's doing awesome. He has a time in the morning I call zoomies where he runs in the house. He is trained to use the litter box (his own) eats grapes and bananas he loves pellets and I make his a bowl of salad and loves watermelon
