They defently took some pointers from how FF 12 does its quests/monster hunters and how they were just so fun to do, but they also Took the aspect of leveling from FF 10, but also has the Style of FF 13 but expanded upon into an open world than just an linear adventure.
open world exploration, sidequests, monster hunting and an amazing story like in every final fantasy game. i wont be spending much time outside in the next couple of months 😅

The ending was already leaked. Luna and Noctis do both die. The final boss is defeated by a QTE. These are facts. Ardyn is the final boss, and it's a complete shit show. The JRPG genre has really dwindled out here in the west, and for someone who spent their childhood playing JRPGs starting with FF7 i really hope this game is a success.

This is the second year in a row where we've had several RPG's release, and the genre could hardly be doing better.

I was on the fence back and forth for months whether or not to pick this up but after playing the Judgement Disc demo, I'm all in. This trailer cemented that even more and i'm not a Final Fantasy fan (but am a fan or JRPGs). They should blast this trailer everywhere and don't release anything else until the game comes out. This seems to be it's best foot forward. This game will be awesome.

As a person who played the judgment demo, I was able to finish all the quests within an hour, but ended up spending over 10 hours just finding new areas, weapons, and fighting minibosses just because I loved the combat so much.

This game's features list is like, all my favorite FF mechanics/features/etc. refined and combined into one amazing new game. IDC what others think of it, just based off playing the demos and watching the trailers, this is already in my top 5 FF games of all time. I already know I'm going to absolutely love this game.
Kind of sort of. Noctis dies, all the brothers die. Luna dies too. But, Noctis and Luna are able to manifest kind of like Zack and Aerith. They're dead and have no physical body but their souls are still there, happily together and married. They're both on the throne spending time together and just being glad their finally at peace. So technically Luna and Noctis are not dead, since they can manifest like Zack and Aerith can. They're together in the after life forever and will just come and go whenever, kinda like how Zack and Aerith are together forever in the Lifestream.
I'm not saying you're wrong, but we have absolutely no confirmation what that secret ending was about. They are not alive and I don't think they were in some Lifestream-type status. More like they were just ghosts, and the scene was for players.

I suddenly realized that the "Reclaim Your Throne" tagline that this game has been given has dual meanings: First of all, it's obviously the story about how we'll join Noctis on his journey to take back his kingdom. But, secondly, it also alludes to how, after the lukewarm reception of FFXIII and its sequels, the more aware members at Squeenix realized that the XIII trilogy actually made Final Fantasy lose its crown as the king of RPGs. Final Fantasy XV is basically those more aware members working together in order to reclaim that crown, win back the crowd and showing the Wadaites of Squeenix that a game should not just sell a lot of copies because it's hitching a ride on the merit of having "Final Fantasy" in its title; being a Final Fantasy title is a responsibility, a promise to _not_ satisfy with merely writing "Final Fantasy" on the cover, but to instead strive for standards befitting a royal game title.

I suddenly realized that the "Reclaim Your Throne" tagline that this game has been given has dual meanings:
First of all, it's obviously the story about how we'll join Noctis on his journey to take back his kingdom.
But, secondly, it also alludes to how, after the lukewarm reception of FFXIII and its sequels, the more aware members at Squeenix realized that the XIII trilogy actually made Final Fantasy lose its crown as the king of RPGs.
Final Fantasy XV is basically those more aware members working together in order to reclaim that crown, win back the crowd and showing the Wadaites of Squeenix that a game should not just sell a lot of copies because it's hitching a ride on the merit of having "Final Fantasy" in its title; being a Final Fantasy title is a responsibility, a promise to _not_ satisfy with merely writing "Final Fantasy" on the cover, but to instead strive for standards befitting a royal game title.

I appreciate how the announcer explains everything in great detail, something that actually lame people ridicule in a condescending/bullying way as "unnecessary and ridiculous" when they're not anywhere being elaborate and understanding themselves.
