Question… I’m getting an 2018 M4 soon and wanted know how comfortable the ride was on the suspension when you changed the wheels and tires. I’ve heard the m4 comp is pretty harsh on the suspension so I’m opting to get the base m4 and change to prettier wheels. What thoughts do you guys have?
I have a 2018 F80 Comp when I was on stock springs I felt like ride wasn't harsh at all even on horrible roads, Personally I would go with a comp :}
The whole reason why comp is bashed by media is because of the 20inch rims with low profile tyres (I think its 30R20 with comp vs the 35R19 with base) If you are getting wheels anyway I would say comp and base makes almost no difference in terms of ride quality except for the wheels and tires
However, base or comp, I would have kept the stock wheels because they are forged and thus way lighter than cast wheels out there. The price of getting a set of good looking forged wheels are very much too expensive.
nice cars you have and cool content, like it ! but one small thing: check again the S58 vs. the S55. The S58's "base" is the B58, and also with that it shares nearly nothing...it's a complete new engine and has zero to do with the S55.
But still, both are insanely good engines and each of them has their characteristics. The S58 feels more NA with an insane high RPM power and the S55 punches you as soon as the turbos kick in.

I see what BMW did with that new grill. The F82 was already a beast & the G82 had to be the right upgrade, especially after many years without any major design changes.
After modifications, it just makes sense!!! The G82 M4 is supposed to be LOUD!, MAD BONKERS & Straight up IN YOUR FACE.

Dream build? Jeez with that horrible sound that comes out of both of these? Fantastic driving cars (I've had both) but the sound made me give up both...they're ///Mbarraasingly bad in fact 😂
Best mod for these cars with regards to sound is getting them to make as little sound as possible to be honest.
