The Last of Us Part 1 PC Mods - First Person Mode Update & Brutal Gameplay [4K 60FPS Grounded]

- All encounters are on custom difficulty (everything on grounded+ except resources). Starting with an abundance of ammo and crafting materials, as well as upgraded weapons, allows for aggressive gameplay and realistic brutal combat. Custom difficulty also allows some HUD elements to be seen on grounded.
In this video, we will explore The Last of Us First Person Mode Mod Update . My Immersive First Person VR Mode concept showcase lets us survive up close and personal in this beautiful, realistic, and brutal world that Naughty Dog has developed. 4:00 Dude, this is such a well directed sequence it's almost like you convinced the AI to play ball for the sake of the movie. Watching these videos feels like watching the "canon" playthrough, keep em coming.
I really wanted to show the dynamic between Joel and Ellie during a gun fight and how concerned he may be while still forcing himself to focus. He knows it can all be over with one mistake
Omg yeah. The music, the dialogue between Joel and Ellie. That's so well put together.
That's what I would show people if they asked why they should play this game.
Would be awesome if I knew of 3rd person clips that are edited that well. (given I don't want to show people modded footage to get them to play as it won't be like that for them). But for my own enjoyment, it's soo nicely done.

Amazing! I think one thing that would make the mod better is if the guns actually looked like they were pointing at the enemy. Currently they look a bit misaligned
Thanks! I think a whole new animation for the character model rig needs to be developed for that. There are some limitations, at least for now though!

This is a good idea. RDR2 did a good job allowing you to switch from FPS to 3rd person at will. With TLOU I can imagine FP being annoying with how much scavenging you had to do. If they have factions in FP thatll be epic. I'm wondering how the button layout will be though.

Looks good, but obviously set to easy mode to avoid having to take up shelter? Fading the camera in and out of shelter mode would be the next part to program I assume?
