Seeing that star made me nervous. I've been playing Elite: Dangerous, so that star set off the alarms in my head that say "white dwarf or neutron star detected" and I have an irresistible urge to throttle away from the dang thing for safety's sake.
Empyrion is becoming the sci-fi survival game I've been waiting for... for years... and I cannot wait to experience it... Great video, enjoyed it all, eager for the next one.

It should be done soon (maybe a few days or so). I'm skeptical about even its fighting abilities as I have tried to construct it cheaply and out of weak materials, but it does have lots of guns and plenty of room for more. I have no doubt you can already afford it and its fuel cost, and I would be delighted if you considered spawning it as your near end-game ship. I can get back to you with a workshop link once it's complete. (Maybe there's a command to swap all of one type of block for another, so I can upgrade its shell?)
There's so many dangers in that infestation. Max turrets and a few plasma. I haven't played much of empyrion but I know enough that more is sometimes better. Good luck, you'll need it.
if only i had remembered to out a warp drive and a pentaxid tank in my Bombastic Bombardment build that i made for the Eden series, mighta been good for this planet although might have to augment some of the turrets for "in-atmosphere" guns
I encountered one of those and after snooping around and Mining out the minerals it blew up on its own. I attacked all the lasers and took them out before entering.
Perhaps they so ridiculously overprotected the Legacy city on Ryvvon to force you to travel about using their teleporters. The access point may be one of those "floaty bits" or in a Legacy space station in the planets orbit. Just a hunch -- I have a grapevine but it doesn't tell me others' secrets -- I know nothing. :D
Yes, I just got some sweet screenshots of one last night. Super cool. Kinda weird that the planets are still so bright though lol it’d be kinda cool if it was like permanent darkness, or just dim light from the event horizon
I found a BH system with a Void sector in it. 40 Gold asteroids in that sector alone. Plus literally all the other deposits in asteroid form. The view from that sector is epic with the black hole in the background.
I can’t wait to start a play through. I hope They put a very large land claim device around that Legacy base. So people can’t dig there way to the to Centre for the win.

I have had a CV with a planetary assault mode for a while, built it in either A10 or A11, not updated it yet for A12, but might be worth a look: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1997526668 Lots of combat armour and the capacity to directly attack ground bases. Teseted it plenty in my live games and makes mince meat of drone bases, not tested against Legacy though, although feel it should perform.
So a full on Rebel inspired tank carrier with Warp drive/shield and cargo for days. Minimum on amenities. I would say even no SV parking to optimize space. It is very mission specific..lt but should work.

You know what? If the Devs are up to it, I wonder if they can make the shields into quarters around the ship, AKA Star Trek style? Fore, starboard, portside and aft shields. That way as you are in combat, you can turn away buckling shields from fire and last longer. What you think Spanj?
It would take a lot of tunneling and some people might see it as an easy way out. But I'm wondering if you built a laser miner if you could tunnel underneath and attack from the bottom. Maybe some energy weapons on the miner to take down the shields, then go in with something to take out the turrets. Not the best plan or maybe even a good one, just a thought.
It'd be kinda nifty if part of the story involved a large CV or even fleet pursuing you about the galaxy. Until you became strong enough to defeat it. Also: Remember your energy usage goes way up if your shields are recharging.
Looks more like a Giant CPU chip, At a Microscopic level made real time sized. Maybe where they got the design from. If you remmeber tron. so yeah thats pretty cool.
You can destroy the core. Also I was able to destroy admin cores twice by hitting missile’s next to it. Direct hits did nothing. This a bug or fluke? Worked twice
Wouldn't it be cool if the keystone was like the citys core and to take over the city you have to destroy its core similar to taking down a POI but obviously more like Level 1000 difficult
I have been playing the game again for about 3 weeks after putting it down over and over again since buying it in 2018. The game itself is so much better....very satisfied. BUT, what are you hitting to scan in space? Seems like some sort of sonar and I have not run into this. As i am writing, I see what looks to be a detector in slot 1. I have detectors on all kinds of ships and i have never seen it show up in the quick bar.
My god this Legacy planet is beyond comprehension the guys who worked on this really have done an incredible job and this is a great indication of where Empyrion is heading which really excites me. Legacy race certainly makes the Zirax race look like cockroaches and Legacy are the exterminators. Damn not looking forward to them coming to attack my base, I would be like ‘Oh shit Legacy incoming..... I’m outta here.......all yours fellas...... bye bye’
Probably a stupid suggestion, but that area looks like a giant maze to me (17:40 in the video for a good view). Would it be possible to avoid the (I'm assuming mostly anti-air) fortifications and get to the prize in the middle by navigating through it?
You said that base (about halfway through the video) had shields and then said they were at 90%. How are you seeing how much is left in the enemy shield strength?
Can you actually travel to all of those star systems? I've been reading into this game and everywhere I look people say that it's only one star system with like ten planets. I'm thinking of getting this game so if anyone can answer this, I'll appreciate it.
I don't know if u went back to the brewery to get the epic armor yet or not since i am makin this comment not long into the video, which is still in that locker where u have gotten it previously and the code is still 1234 (i feel like that is the code i remember seein in the last letsplay where u did the totally overpowered quest)

I would think they will have to balance the Legacy Pulse Laser Turrets currently they have 5000 HP and deal out 2000 per shot. I want them on my base for attacks :D
How were you able to perform that final warp? My Server Admin and I are trying to figure out how to get into that star system but are not sure how to go about doing that without restarting the whole thing under 12.5
You will need to restart in 12.5 because it was a bug in 12.4, the planets are not close enough to warp to. I used the command Sector and it warps you directly to it.

My admin is looking at seeing if they can move the grid coordinates of one of the closer planets once I reach them since we don't want to restart yet since we have a number of other players and only a few of us care about getting there. He has said he will use console commander once I reach the limit if we don't find another solution. Thanks again, love your stuff even if I do try to avoid spoilers as best I can.
It is easy for you to build offline in god mode, all of your ships seem to be very heavy in guns & constructors. I build in the game as I go & have never achieved the type of ships that you build, granted you are very good at what you do, but have a care for those who try to build from the planet without blue prints & see how you go. For as you know most of the ships in the blue prints are built in god mode. One very dissatisfied viewer of your videos, I would like to see you start from scratch without blue prints to your aid. Charging the shields uses more power than holding them at 100%. That's why the ship had less hover time than you are used to.

What I wish Eleon would do with mining lasers is take them away from CV's and use them on SV's . I like the mining turrets much better.

interestingly, the keystone didnt seem to be shooting... im thinking an orbital insertion with some sort of drop pod. feet first into hell.

Spanj! You can make copper transmuting it from crushed stone, so any asteroid will do for making the basics.

How do you get the experimental updates. My steam game still states 11.5.8 so is there a trick to get them.
In Steam, right click the game, options, betas. "Unstable test branch" is 12.4.
