In this video, we’re going to talk about why you may want to stop drinking tap water. Tap water is toxic. Especially if you live in the southern part of the United States, where there are high levels of estrogen in the water. These high levels of estrogen can shut down testosterone in men and put a woman into estrogen dominance.
There is also fluoride in the water, which can affect the thyroid and skin. On top of that, there is a chemical called chloramine, which is not good for the body.
The fact that there is a legal dose of these chemicals in tap water does not mean that they are safe. The legal limits of these contaminants have not been evaluated for 20 years.
A few chemicals that could be in your tap water:
    1. Bromodichloromethane
    2. Chloroform
    3. Haloacetic acid
    4. Nitrates
    5. TTHM
Four of these five chemicals are known to cause cancer.
I have two water filters-one filters out the chemicals, and one filters out fluoride.

I can tell you that no matter what your Water Company says your tapwater is probably bad. I keep fish and fish are incredibly sensitive to toxicity. I’ve been doing it for 30 years and I know how to test Water very well. I recently moved and when I got here bringing my fish with me I went to the water company I got copies of all of their test results for the last year and on paper that water was ideal for the type of fish I keep once you get the chlorine out of it which is very easily done with a few drops of a chemical the chlorinator 10 times and is instant. Not fully trusting that I took samples of my water for the first week or so tested with everything I had for mineral balances chemicals chlorides ammonia‘s nitrates nitrate levels all of it and had the perfect water. My fish spent the first couple weeks in the water from my old house that they were moved in and we’re perfectly fine after the move on the third week I took water out put it in a bucket with the chlorinator and left it out for a couple days to bring the temperature up and filtered it through a simple Britta charcoal filter. I use that bucket to change the water I do small water changes several days in a row so the fish can adapt to temperature and chemical differences and about a week later one of my fish died, by the end of the week I had one fish left the rest died all of my shrimp died and all of my snails except for one died and some of my plants started to turn brown. I tested the water in my tank and it was perfect I didn’t even have ammonia spikes from all the dead fish, I filtered more water and did another water change in that fish just kept getting sicker and a couple weeks later was dead. The one snail is fine and the plants are still alive but certain species are turning brown which is odd because they’re incredibly easy plants to take care of and you can pretty much just throw them in tapwater almost anywhere. I contacted by Water Company and they said all of their tests of a normal and nothing is changed blah blah blah and I blew it. I should’ve gotten a reverse osmosis filter and re-mineralized the pure water but I trusted the tests and dozens of more test at the Water Company literature published results with. I can’t tell what was in the water that did this but All those fish were at least two years old and we’re perfectly healthy and the only thing that changed was my geographical location and the water source. So suggesting a water filter is great advice no matter what your water company says or how it tests and I would suggest a very good water filter. A simple carbon filter will get rid of a lot of things but it’s not removing everything normal. There is still different types of minerals and bacteria that can get through a charcoal filter easily and are unaffected by it. So though the tests can test a lot they’re still dozens of other harmful elements that are never tested for and determination that can get through that process.

Water quality is very different from town to town. Whether the water is from groundwater or surface water makes a big difference regarding the treatment required and the chemicals in the water. Also, only large water systems fluoridate. You can find out the data for your specific system by asking the state regulator for a copy of the water system Consumer Confidence Report or for a copy of the monitoring history. Usually this info can be found online. You just need to know the name of your water system (who bills you). It is completely inaccurate to consider all tap water to be the same. You can waste a lot of money on bottled water that is less regulated than the drinking water from a water system.

Dr BERG! For some reason you have a strange intuition which I think is prophetic. Today I turned on my tap water in the Bronx...and it was brown. I researched the water a couple of years ago and the tests said that it did have hexavelent6 which is not tested for...the same chemical that Erin Brokovich found was causing serious cancer in the people her movie by the same name. I also wanted to tell you as a side note this has happened on the regular with you. In October before we even knew about COVID-19 you put out a video on the importance of Zinc as a trace mineral. So I went out and bought some before Chinese New Year in NYC. When it really hit us hard. I looked back in my receipts and it was 3 months before we knew about it. And your video clued me in. Sometimes it’s uncanny and I think you have a gift from God. My building was built in 1924 so I’m sure the color is from pipes..are they lead pipes? I don’t know..but I know there have been cases here for children getting sick even though they advertise on the train that the water is so great here. It’s not. They don’t even test for all the chemicals that can harm you-nor do they filter those out.

  • @ski6712

good to see important info about this and plastic bottled water seems to have issues too. so maybe a filtration system for the water is the way to approach the problem and wow thats a lot of filter devices needed. even most natural stream/glacier water has trace mineral elements with arsenic in most along with other metallic minerals after all one way to do geologic assessment for possible mineral deposits is collected by stream water and stream sediment samples. and of course pathogens in stream /lake water is a worry. but drinking water from a cold mountain stream on a hot day is amazing and refreshing and i guess a convenient portable test kit to see if the water is safe to drink while hiking in the mountains would be a great invention . time to google that🙂

The most interesting thing i found was my last dentist visit which was 5 years from the one before i had ZERO decay...ZERO!!!! This is unheard of for someone like me. I have read a lot on line about the trace minerals in spring water and the benefits of them on bones and teeth and it seems realistic to assume that water quality has significant effects on oral health, along with everything else. While it's not ideal to drink water from plastic bottles I think its better than tap water at least and I think the big difference even when you filter the tap water you probably still don't get the minerals... anyway just my experience from it. If i have to drink tap water now I really can taste the difference so I avoid it at all costs.

I've heard of something called "living water"...
    What I know is this:
What is meant by "living water" is to drink water from a stream, river or spring.
"dead water" means stagnant water in a bottle or carboy.
    I developed a simple method :
    I take two empty bottles.
I fill one of the bottles with water.
Then I transfer the water from the bottle to the empty bottle.
I fill the water by pouring it from high to the other bottle.
I repeat this water filling and draining process at least five times.
So I turn water into "living water".
I drink this water I get right away.
Here is the result I noticed:
    Well-functioning kidneys and well-functioning intestines.
I could be wrong.I'm just reasoning.
I wouldn't be able to write these without google translate.

Here in the UK the term "tap water" is in breach of the trades description act. It is toxic beyond belief!

I wish I lived in the UK. Highland Spring was the only “spring” water I’ve ever liked. I had a case in my car at all times when I was there. I can order it here/ $35usd a case 😒
Just looked into the purity and quality of it- not bad!!

What are you on about? UK tap water is one of the most regulated in the world. It actually goes through more stringent testing than most bottled water. I know because I used to work in a testing centre.

Are you aware of Aqua Sana based in Houston? That's the filtration system I use and recommend. They're very user friendly Thanx for the good info.
