Air Arms S510r breech seal removal and replacement.
Had a very small drop in power with my Air Arms only noticeable with running a few shots through the chronograph and wondered if replacing the breech seal would make any difference ! so one wet afternoon i gave it a go .

Thanks for showing mate! I have a S410. The easy way to take out the O-ring is by just pushing a needle in the O-ring an flip it out. Takes one second without doing any damage. Cheers!

All airline and some gasses for diving gear have to be lubed with silicone oil/grease if the seals are rubber or neoprene! Hydrocarbons oil or grease will rot rubber/neoprene apparently! Fraser

Hi good video .just quick question i put oil in in the barrel by mistake i think i could have done that seal air gun gone loud and lots of air coming out of that area when i shoot

Don't think gun oil would damage the seal.
If you have air coming out of there , yes it could be the seal , can you see if there is any damage to the seal,

@@cjoutdoors8264 thanks for your reply seal looks intact but thats just from looking at it from outside.gun was super quiet before i put oil in it made a huge bang and smoke out of it but that was 6 months ago and with out the silencer sounds more like a shotgun

Some can be loud without silencer, if you can feel air escaping try a new seal see if it helps, sorry can't be if any help

@@cjoutdoors8264 thanks will try there is definitely lots of air coming out of them 3 little holes beside the seal when i shoot is this normal and is there only one seal at that part

@@thomaskavanagh7992 don't know what you mean about 3 holes! , on the aa510 only one seal at that section
