Hi, I'm struggling to glue my wakeboard together. What kind of glue do you use between the layers, I think it's not the same epoxy you use on the edge of the board. In the video, I heard that you bake a wake, so it means that the board is hot pressed. Can you make a cold press with this glue, would it work? I think the heat just speeds up the process or im wrong.
Great video! I wonder if the design of the base is still intact after riding over obstacles. Or is there another layer of glass fiber on top of the base sheet?
Glad you enjoyed the video, Yeah so with sublimation the ink is effectively 'tattooed' into the inside of the plastic, so there is no way to scratch the graphics off the board, or for the graphics to fade. the only time you will lose the graphics is with a base delaminate which can happen after hug impacts, snaps or just general mistreatment then the board's base will begin to peel off leaving the graphic on the base of the board. So in short the graphic is near impossible to remove although sometimes with rails you may get paint/scratch marks on the base from time to time.
Those boards look great but I have a few questions. What would be the right thickness for the wooden core and is the thickness different from the middle to the front and back?
Great video
Cool board, man!

@@fng-drifting1896 its roughly 8mm in the centre and 3mm in the nose and tail but it depends on size/style of the board
@@DoukSnowUK thanks
Amazing video, thanks for sharing! Which kind of plastic is the bottom layer?
We use a Ptex base from Isosport.
and exactly what glue or epoxy do you use to glue this Ptex, fiberglass and wood together?
Hi, what kind of paper were the graphics printed to? Let me know, Thanks
Sublimation paper
do you take orders?
We sure do, send us an email to info@Douksnow.com
What thickness for the board?
IT depends on how you want the board to feel, roughly 7mm-9mm works well.
What angle for the tail and nose for a wake Board behind a boad ?
what is the name of the wood you use?
We use poplar or obeche!
