This lets someone have a row of 4KP’s with different skins for the price of one actual Pinball.
Haha, but that would be Overkill and unnecessary
excited to see Addams fam on Legends 4k pin, I'm going to pre-order it and sell my LP. I would love to see Zen's DLC packs.
Yes totally! Zen downloads should absolutely happen
I'm glad you kept Mama in the video. That was super cute.🥰🥰
I'm going to wait and see what their other cabinets are(15 different over 2yrs) . I'm just not a big Adam's Family guy. I'm still excited though.👍
Haha, she's always welcome, even when she messes up my flow! 😆
Going to be an interesting winter! Thanks Bee! So there will be 15 collector editions, each with a run of 5000 cabinets each. Addam's Family is not the first in that line, this is a standard edition according to some pdfs and information I have that this doesn't have a limited run. However, nothing is likely perm and I'd imagine they change Addam's Family standard to some other standard over time (maybe every 6 months a new regular one?) No idea! I hope the collector editions are the same price, but if Addam's Family isn't collector's and it's 1499 (after pre-order period), will CE's be even MORE?!
5000 is a pretty big production run, hope they sell amazingly well so we see other cab art options!
Nice profile picture! 😁👍
Does this mean there’s gonna be a mini version? I was about to order the mini pinball then I heard the pinball was getting 4K but wow the horror looking cab is amazing and it’s adams family! I don’t have room for this but I would love a mini exactly like this version
I’m preordering but I’m curious what other skins they’re going to have.
Yes, Zen has a lot of great IPs! Imagine a Medieval Madness version!
Hey Bee and others reading this, is there truth to later builds of ALP have hardware based lag? I see talk online and for the life of me, can’t get Pinball FX and Xenotilt to play without lag. I debating buying the ALP 4KP just for the prospect of no lag.
Hi Bee, I think Atgames releasing future editions might have more Zen tables and or the SSF kit already installed. Did you ever sell your ALP? I'm keeping my two, ALP 1.1 and 1.2, one is PC connected other is running stock tables. PK is really bringing the heat, I'm into the Addams Family IP, this is dope, thanks Atgames!
Wow, that's a lot of Vpins! I'm still planning on selling my ALP, and very much on the fence of this one as my full size one doesn't do 4K. Hoping performance is good, when with OTG and reduced Flipper latency than the original ALP
Maybe it's just the renders but I can't get beyond that seafoam green on the Addam's Family edition.
Kongs,
You could just plug your PC into this 4K AtGames machine. No more messing around with vibs. It has the three full size HDMI ports on the back for all three screens. From Wagner's video, it's pretty much plug and play.
Oh, and Wagner does show off the solenoids in his videos.
vgv
I need to check out Wagners videos! Thanks for the confirmation on solenlods
Considering the cost of making your own pinball cab, even $1,500 is a good deal for this. $1,100 is insta buy. Helps already having a PC for it. A $650 desktop will play 4K pinball- just need at least a 1060 GPU.
Good point, it's probably the best commercial vpin product on the market
@@KongsRUs Wondering if this will slightly pressure Vpin makers to either adjust prices, or offer something similar... Seems the main hardcore Vpinners will stay with the higher end offerings, but that was before this cab enters the market..... Paradigm for the market perhaps?
@rushmore3927 yea, I hope there's more competition in this space. Problem with most custom vpin builds is utilizing non licensed tables at the core of the vpin tables. Zen helps with getting licenses versions of popular classic titles
Thank you for another awesome informative video! Do you think, (or know) if titles like Addams Family will become available for download purchase on just regular Legends Pinball, not 4k? Hoping 🤞
That's a GREAT question and I'll ask around to find out. I'd hope they would make their Zen titles available for their older machines too. Would make sense to maximize sales
The new ZEN tables will ONLY be available on the 4k.
@@lil4lien ok. Thanks for the info! That's too bad.
Wait a second! Yeah you've been out of the ALP-related news sphere for a while haven't you! The built-in solenoids were announced in February (NOD), but I'm sure you were just busy having breakfast with "Punksatawny Phil"! :) It's also mentioned (and heard) clearly in Wagner's engineering sample game play videos! You can't tell me you haven't watched those yet between chili cookoffs?!
Lol, I'm totally out of the loop on following this product and haven't watched all of wagners videos yet. But I'm definitely more interested now!
@@KongsRUs Worth a watch for sure! He did a bang up job as always. I'd love to see you play some of the most recent amazing vpin updates and new tables and hear your thoughts on them! I know the vpin isn't where you stream so we never get to see it!
Will they offer a pre-order price when releasing each of the 15 themed tables or is this only for the Addams Family model?
Not sure on future pricing info, but hope that would be the case
The UI was completely redone per Wagners video and it looks really slick.
Great to know! Need to check it out
In the pinball wars A1UP were already crawling along the battfiled... AtGames just stuck the bayonet in.
I been looking at getting a marvel a1up pinball. Due to this early pricing and zen license i think im picking this up
They definitely added FOMO pricing this weekend! Tons of potential now with Zen license
I'm definitely interested in this. Though I'd rather not get one with the random Adam's artwork and silly topper. I also had hoped they would do away with the giant Legends thing on the backbox but otherwise looks great!
The Legends thing on the backbox is awful.
Haha, AtGames always gotta brand their stuff all over
@@KongsRUs They ought to focus on branding the software via splash screens, menu titles, etc., so they can get their advertising in, without putting off people who want a more authentic-looking product.
At least the legends Marque can be dimmed or turner on the 4k alp
Yeah i@@loganqthat's the first thing that jumps out at me, same with the Zen logo on the side. Kind of an eyesore, they could have been more discrete about that. Why not just buy a regular one and wrap it yourself.
Do you know if non 4k tables from Zaccaria tables will play on it?
Not sure, but I hope so
No
Duh duh duh-duh, “snap snap”. Creepy, kooky and cool.
Haha, I can tell you're excited for this
Hmmmmmm I like this😊 I’m interested
It looks like more of an Arcade 1Up shape now. I Like it.
It's better than A1up design IMO. They fixed the proportions!
I pre-ordered😎
They are limited and there will be 15 custom machines between now and 2025. Here is what I found.
Additionally, AtGames and Zen Studios plan to release a total of 15 exclusive FX Legends 4K Collector’s Edition Pinball (CEP) SKUs from 2023 - 2025. Each CEP will be limited to just 5,000 units each and come equipped with custom side panel artwork and pre-loaded with one table that coincides with their respective edition. Every CEP will be individually numbered on a unique Builder’s Plate to commemorate its unit number (e.g.: No. 1/5000) and manufacture date. The initial CEPs for preorder in 2023 will be announced as they become available.
Great info! Thanks for sharing
A huge step forward, but not a must have title for me.
I'm buying because I cant make myself wait, but I'll be sad when they come out with a Star Trek : The Next Generation skinned one.
OOOo, if they made a STTNG version, I'd be all over it!!! Still selling my current original ALP modded to STTNG
@@KongsRUs I am betting they will. Perhaps an Indiana Jones themed one as well. I am just speculating of course, but those were pretty big sellers for Zen I would imagine.
Brother Kong, why doesn't your better half do more vids? She's your secret sauce! The Buck Hunters review as example is classic.
Lol, she does what she wants to do
Tetris Atgames cabinet 🤔
What do you mean? Do you have the Tetris ALP Mini?
@@KongsRUs Think he means when you mentioned AtGames finally having a name-brand IP on one of their products.
@@mcrecordings oh true, I ended up selling that
I can’t believe they’re actually calling it 4KP. Should’ve just been call Legends pinball 2. I can’t afford it right now anyways.
Is this a 4K display without 4K hardware pushing the graphics?? What is this thing. Are they bait and switching us with that sweet early-adopter price??
The stock games list doesn't look great.
Bingo. That’s what I’ve been saying since the announcement. If they gave us 15 zen tables then had the same games with different headliner skins that would be awesome and worth the price. What you are getting here is one great game and 14 shovelware games. No thanks, not for that price.
@@stupidfathobbit4262 I agree 15 Zen tables, at least for the all the limited machines would have been a lot better, but I wouldn't call the other tables shovelware. The Natural History pack is the best one they've done IMO, and you're getting all the Zaccaria Deluxe tables.
Had it been a random assortment of other Zaccaria tables (EM SS etc..) and Taito tables I'd agree, and I think people really dislike rebuying content so that's potentially $75 (full rrp) you won't have to spend again.
We will get 15 zen over time here is what I found.
@@stupidfathobbit4262 The other 14 titles are garbage. I wouldn't put money in them to play one game out in the wild!
A lot of people online are kind of confused and upset over this one. Yes it looks great and worth, but the current customers that have an alp are wondering if their units are still supported or anything? Wasnt there meant to be an upgarde board or something at some point?
I can see that, but in the world of consumer electronics, this is norm that you see new upgraded products every few years. Hope there's some backwards compatibility with the at least the Zen titles
@@KongsRUs As is the way. Gonna have to wait on this since just upgraded to a Series X. Now, what to do this with my current one? Thanks for the video.
They should have gone with the 32" screen. This is just an A1Up table.
It's a 32" inch 4Kp playfield
