FF JD3020,great operator, great set up, positive lock rear end. That little 4 cylinder gas tractor has the least horse power of all 7 tractors. Amazing pull. Great video. Keep them coming.
It doesn’t matter if it’s a Farmall, John Deer , Ford, Massey Ferguson, Allis Chalmers ,Oliver, or any other brand. If it does the job it’s a good tractor.
Ii had faith in green but I think when you get up into that weight it comes down to the connection the operator has with their tractor. They all were great. Nice video FF.
The "groupies" did a fine job... kinda like a carrot on a stick to get the deere boy moving in the right direction. A blue tractor would match her pants better though...
By no means am I a physics guru, but dad taught me this same trick years ago when I got my loaded semi stuck in soft ground. He said to turn the cab at a significant angle to the trailer before loading in the field. The idea is to get the front moving while the rear simply pivots on the axles. Once momentum of the front is obtained , the weight of the moving tractor and front of sled "brake" the rear free and less traction is required to get it moving forward than would be required to start it moving all at once. Trains use the same concept. Often they back up the locomotive to create slack in the couplers, then getting the first cars rolling mass helps start the second car, those two start the third and so on.
Another great video, I'm a few days late catching up on these. Really enjoy the pulling and auction content. I feel like some day we need a video on the story behind Burnouts with Robert 🤣
Put them in the field and you will see the cream rise to the top and the red ones will put it all over them green apples. The tires were on the 3020 weren't pumped up quite as much and the trick was it didn't have over abundance of horsepower so it would not try to spin as quickly as the 6 cylinder tractors. Very neat tractor pull I must say. Thanks for sharing.
Would like to know more about that 3020, modifications and such. Love the 4020's and 4010. Red made a good showing as well. Goes to show you technique is a huge part of the success.
That's the first time I've seen this kind of tractor pull. That 706 looks like it's got a Cummins in it. It's neither a 282 or a 310. Those 3020s are a good tractor. On Big tractor power, a 3020 was pulling a John Deere 9501 combine. That's like pulling a 1482 IH combine with your 756. Both IH and John Deere made great tractors in the 1960s. I think at this level of pulling, it's more the skill level of the operator than the tractor.
When Dad went to JD due to the Massey Dealer going out of business and the IH dealer being 3 hours away he bought a 4020 traded in a Ford Jubilee and a Massey Harris kept the two Super 65 diesels and the Super M! That 4020 was a great pulling tractor except the transmission would go out of whack every now and then and the dealer had to come out! That soured me on JD right then! Been red ever since
Those people on the 826 and the 706 had to much air pressure in there tires tire pressure is a factor when you pull and weight is also a factor as well like CaseIH perfect weight distribution he his weights on the front back and sides perfect the only problem he had was tire pressure and I thought the 706 was going to win because I'm a big red fan of international tractor's my grandfather had a international H and a 806 856 and a international 460 the 806 he had a accident a drunk T boned him and he was in the hospital for two weeks and that 706 looked like his 806 with the front tires and the back tires well international will always remain number one with international fan's
hey guys what y'all did not see is the international 706 at the final pull he put the tractor in low 4th but the the other pulls he had the tractor in low 2nd that's why he lost to the the john deere!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Farmalls are red and loud. Feel sorry for you guys that never owned a decent tractor. Uncle had a 656 gasser. Got sick and tired of the zippy governor that overshot the desired rpm every time you opened her up. Also hated the freewheeling TA when going down hill with a baler and load of hay on our SE MN hills. Couldn't see well over that damn huge rear fender when baling on contour strips. One IH and done!!
They put the throttle over the top of the steering wheel,so misplaced!Tap here tap there ridiculous! Deferential came late to international when John Deere had it for awhile!
Love all the tractors all colours.
Impressive JD tonight!!!!

You make a better announcer , than some of these so called professional announcers. Great video.
Yeah but I get away with saying whatever I want lol
We need more vids like this man
Pulling season is coming soon.
I had to watch this one twice for all the great commentary Gino 😃🇺🇸
Ahahahahahahaha
Very cool to watch this buddy, your knowledge always amazes me on how you know all these models.
Makes me wonder if Brandon knows any of these tractors 🤣

Good to see the David Brown (Case 1394) in action.
Great stuff bud, you almost got me with the “there goes the water buffalo” comment, no coffee through the nose this morning, whew!!!😂🤣😂
Lol
I didn't know they still did dead weight pulls anywhere in the state anymore. Pretty cool to see
I really love them all especially tractors from 65 to 75 and late model NF. Would love to own a 986 or 4230 NF.
Great years
Thank you for the video, great job.
706 sounded darn good pulling the sled
Definitely
Booooooom.....!!! The "Brim Reaper" must be sittin' this one out.....
It's too good for this competition
Thank you for being there and streaming this wonderful Event, great Narration as well. Big Thumbs up :-)
That 706 is sporting a little help as the whistle in the exhaust notes

Lol 3020 wins it all. We pulled a 8 row for years with a3010. They were good little tractor

Need a physics class lesson to understand the pulling sideways to get the sled started. An object at rest tends to stay at rest. I do remember that.

Good point
Eie , keep on keeping on .
What were you saying about John Deere !
It was the driver
how has that chain not snapped? I was pulling a stump with my m about the same size chain and it broke multiple times.
I wondered that myself
That 706 had the d310 in it? Didn't sound like no d282
And Turbo
@@FarmallFanatic even better
I was shocked to see how well they all did pulling on concrete with ag tires. Low psi is crucial Im sure
Definitely
Is that 706 have a Cummings engine? Doesn't look like a282. Or a310
I know for a fact he has a Turbo on it
It’s Cummins not Cummings
Pretty cool way to pull
Just like a power lifting competition
I was raised up n Albion ohio cool stuff here bud
You must live around me lol I went to school with several of the people in the video
Where did you go to high school
Didn't know they did pulls like this anymore. Once you overcome friction, what is there to stop you.
Yep
F'n get it!
