    Hi Ruth, liked and subscribed.
    Love your informative videos.
    The tents are a new thing that weren't there when I did the Otter in 2011.

      Thanks for the sub! The tents were first put out during the pandemic when there were restrictions on the number of people that could occupy a building. I'm not sure whether they are always going to be around, but they are a fun alternative and it is nice to have more options for large groups.

      I have not ever done a guided trail for The Otter, as I know the trail really well. SANParks does not offer guided options themselves, but other private companies do. It is a good idea to shop around and check out the reviews from other people that have used those services before you book with any of the private companies, as some are better than others and some are far more expensive than others.

    Needing to charge electronics wasn’t something we needed to consider in 1980s 😆. I see vegan has not made its way to hikers brais yet but it did look appetising
