    Sorry Jonas - I must have missed this video. I have given it a like now.
    Lovely turbo, looks really nice.
    Many years ago I did the 18T- never got round to the 19.
    Skipped to my current setup Garrett GT3071, with the 0.86 AR housing.
    It spools heavily c 3200 up.
    Feels asleep below this.
    Pushes c 500BHP and 650nm @ 1.8 bar.
    This is my 2nd turbo, having broken the first after 4 years of everyday use, track days, oil starvation and dyno pulls.
    I got a brass ball bearing put in this one too as a minor upgrade.
    Running well at moment 🤞🏻.
    Always love watching your videos.

    If you go for Bosch ev14 1200cc, I have a tune you can use to at least get it started and driving to gdm. Made by myself for 2.3 with T5 cams and Garrett 2876r and with the help of a wideband lambda. A lot of time spent on it. Amul is close to zero. Coldstart on e85 tested down to -10 degrees C. Idles and drives like any 9-5 at lower loads. Gives approx 470hp and 600Nm.

      Did it work well with 1200cc? What Fuel pump did you go with?

      @@JonasKakarikas I went for walbro gst450. Overkill and a tight fit. And required drilling the return hole of the oem fuel pressure regulator to 3.0 mm. Other than that the 1200cc works as a charm. No hiccups and nice and smooth even at very small opening times. Only tuned on e85 though.
      The deadtime and flow rate in the specs of the 1200cc was not spot on, required a little tuning as well but I'm very happy I chose them.

    Great video Jonas!! What are your reccomendations to do the same but in a 2002 9-3 2.0 SE engine (HOT)? Could it be possible to achieve 500hp?? Or a need a complete 2.3 engine like in a Viggen??

    I have a 2007 95 Aero which has done almost 210000km, I thinking it might be soon time to change the turbo,is it possible to place the standard turbo with a bigger turbo and gain 50-80hp more with out doing much modification to the car?? Or should i just keep it stock since i want the car to last another 3 years.

      You can gain that power with a stage 3 tune and keep The turbo. You could not just swap turbo and gain power, without remap of The ecu The hardware upgrade is useless

      Thank you! I had a Gtx3584rs from pulsar and they're very good quality unfortunately my car was stolen in Tennessee and now I have one with a smaller engine, this turbo might work.

    I am wondering how big difference is between this one and original Garrett, anyone have any experience? Because price is much different.

      There might be different quality of bearings etc... In The price of a garrett turbo is research and development. Not sure those expenses are quite as big on pulsar turbo systems, since its based on a already developed product.

      Jonas Kakarikas Yup, that makes sense, pulsar didn’t have to invest on R&D, but honestly I am very curious if both turbos are totally same (pulsar vs garrett). My friend have this turbo but original garrett and he tuned his 9-3 arround on 480 HP (b207r) plus typical other hardware stuffs like injectors, IC and etc. Do you know whether this pulsar turbo is made in china?? I am gonna wait for your results, if you will be fully satisfied I will buy too, because price in Poland is almost twice bigger for original garrett.

      Ofcourse its not exactly The same, that would be illegal, but i bet its pretty close. We will see about The results on The 2,3l engine 👍

      Its a bit of wait, need to get car from paint etc... Think it Will be some months ahead, need to get bigger injectors and a exhaust manifold as well and those are expensive parts

      Inte jätte stor, 20t har 47mm ind 58mm exd tror ja. Mestadels avgashuset som stoppar upp

    Tror du Garrets originalversion skulle göra någon större skillnad? Diffar ju en del i pris..

      Större skillnad tror ja inte, prisskillnaden ligger mycket i namnet + att garrett har en r&d avdelning som lagt x antal miljoner på att utveckla teknik, design och funktion. Återstår att se vad den presterar och hur länge den orkar med 👍

    I'm interested in such a turbine, the price is affordable, I'm interested in whether the Pulsar is good or not, some of your experience. I like the finish, it looks pretty good .. 😊😊😃

      Vill bara nämna att det fortfarande är riktigt trångt för turbon, även med sweden exhaust grenrör.
      Monterade nyss en gtx2971r på en b205r och det hann bli en del svordomar innan allt var på plats.
      Jag kör med avkapad kungskobra med silikonböj längst ner och den ligger emot i princip både vattenpump och ac-kompressor!

      @@EricNordenfors Ja det kan tänkas, men det går. Vill man ha mer plats så har de andra grenrör än de som ligger nära original i placeringen. Önskemålet här verkade ju dock vara att det ska gå att dölja rätt bra så de ser så original ut som möjligt. Går bra att trycka dit original värmeplåt över deras lilla extraktorrör så det är ju perfekt då även om de blir lite bökigt och trångt.

      Kan även tipsa om att do88 har specialgjorda slangböjar för trånga utrymmen. Kolla in Cobra head på deras sida. :)

    I dont quite think this one pulls 500hp from 2.3.I think its closer to 400 than 500.

      The gen1 pulls 450hp on a 2,0t so i bet you are wrong 😉

      No with swedenexhaust manifold, original manifold will be a bottleneck

      @@hraklismantzouris Ηρακλή δεν ξέρω τι ακριβώς μοντέλο σααμπ έχεις αλλά εγώ θα σου πρότεινα ένα GTX2867 "πρώτης" γενιάς με τον 11 φτερο συμπιεστή που ταιριάζει καλύτερα σε βαριά οχήματα σαν τα σααμπ. Μην ψαρωνεις με τα πρώτης και δεύτερης γενιάς αυτά είναι διαφημιστικά κόλπα.
