The pictures and videos coming out of western NC are incredible! And many say in-person is worse than one can imagine. Snuggle your loved ones close. Loved the pumpkins at the farmers market!
Hi Pearl! Hi Beth! Hi Linda/grandma! Hi Matt! Great work on the table, it’s beautiful 😊 Isn’t fall just wonderful? And oh what beautiful weather we are having this year 😊❤ Have a great weekend
The table turned out beautifully-the legs are so stunning! I miss farm stands. Now that we live in Arizona, Fall/Autumn just isn’t quite the same. Your new kitty is adorable!! 🍂🎃🍁🌾
I answered your question on another video about where we’ve lived. I don’t know where in Michigan you live, but we actually lived in Michigan for three years while my husband was working for the Defense Logistics Agency in Battle Creek.
Western North Carolina and eastern Tennessee were really hit hard too. We, in southwest Virginia, have all kinds of trees down, power outages and flooding. Your table turned out beautiful! Love watching your videos. ❤
@@GrandmaLivesInTheBasement we don't have power but we are blessed to have a generator. Power company estimates Sunday night before restoration. Life is such an adventure!
@ritalowman5863 The scary part of this storm, for me, was how entire hillsides in NC washed down, taking entire houses with them! I'm all for preparedness but not much anyone can do when it is ALL gone- - quickly, too!
@@snowygirl131 yes, that is very scary. And you realize, when you see that, there is no amount of preparation you can do when the land give way under your feet, foundation. We've had small slides that have taken out parts or half the roads but nothing like the entire farm being wiped out and losing equipment, barns and animals in one slide. The human loss is the most devastating. 😥

I know! It is absolutely heartbreaking. We are praying for everyone that was affected ❤️
