I wonder what's the difference between this model and the new 5g outdoor hub. I got the outdoor hub getting around 400-600 mbps download and 20-40 mbps upload but in terms of ping I needed to connect my Ps5 visa etherent to get a good 20-40 ping
I have 5G in my area, if I buy this router from ebay and a Three SIM with unlimited data, do you think it will work? I would assume I would need to make for the SIM is working properly in a smart phone first
It should, the difference compared to buying from Three is you can test it with them and send it back if you want, which might be more of a hassle if you buy the unit separately.
@@MA4REAL highest 480mpbs down average 1-300, up and down depending on time of day but relatively good. MS is higher but not by much, upload speed is pretty bad 5-10 up and down but overall very satisfied
Buy the Three 5G Hub: broadbandsavvy.com/deals/5g-hub/
Would this be any good for day trading, or would the latency be too much? I can only get 67Mbps at home on the landline.
Think it'll be fine, you'll be at 40ms or so if you can use an Ethernet cable rather than WiFi.

@broadbandsavvy
I would buy there cheaper 4G mifi device and if that work atleast I will know that be the minimum I would get
@@MrQarsim The speeds and WiFi performance are immeasurably better on the 5G Hub compared to the MiFi device.

Completely agree, I was thinking of it as a test
How do you block devices from connecting to the router.Is there any parent control on the router ?
Yes there are parental controls.
Arriving Monday, goodbye 50Mbps sky broadband

@danb5119 what's the electricity consumption

Can you connect an external wifi antenna ?
No, there aren't any ports on the MC888.
Sure you can. That's what the LAN port is for.
What is the difference to ZTE MC888D 5G?
Not sure exactly, I think functionally they'd be almost identical.
Cani see your channel settings pls
Did you have any issues connecting to an Xbox live party?
Haven't tried it, but there's no reason there should be any issues.
@@broadbandsavvy just resolved my issue, seems to work I IPv4 only
Might have to turn on UPnP in the hub settings
Mine is just showing a solid red light on the 3rd one up
Try to move it somewhere else, like the other side of the house, to see if you can get better signal.
Mine too! Only the first 2 lights are white. (Other than the first 3, the other lights aren’t even lit) Did you fix this problem?
And this work around the whole house?
Yes.
Where do you get the sim
It comes with the router when you buy it on the Three website: broadbandsavvy.com/deals/5g-hub/
