  • Hello People
so a few people have asked me about how I made my mask and here it is!
*I realised in part of the video the text fades a bit weird. It's meant to say - "Then turn it inside out and put the mask in"
    Materials
    Worbla - Thermoplastic
Fabric (This way it matches your outfit)
    Gladwrap
    Mask base
    Needle and thread
    Scissors
    Sharpie
Heat gun or hairdryer (to heat the worbla)
    Thin elastic
    Music
    Take you home tonight
    You can find me here

Thanks for the tutorial, I’m going to try to make a different shape on the outside of the mask but this will help with the general shaping I think. Great ladybug cosplay btw!

Could I get some advice? I’m looking into making a mask just for fun, but have it be wearable. Would you suggest having a mold or base of your own face to make it on or will any random face base do?

I have a question. Does the mask need to have fabric covering it?
For what I have in mind, it doesn't seem necessary, but I am also a beginner and I'm not certain.

The mask fabric is just to make sure it matches with the suit and keeps the mask looking smooth but you don't have to use fabric.

Or, you know, you could just cast a mold of your face, then make the mask on that. It will then still fit on your face.

Question, where can you buy Worbla? And can you use a hair dryer to heat the Worbla up?

You can find it on ebay or sites like Lumin's Workshop or sometimes they sell it at cons. You can use a hair dryer, in this i'm using a heat gun. Hope that helps!

Try ebay, or your local costume shop, they might carry it.

RUclips " worbla pie" for DIY worbla .The farther away from Germany the more Real Worbla will cost about $40-80 a sheet.
