Sultan Murad (Metin Akdülger) learns that Kösem Sultan wanted to kill him. Bağdat’tan dönen Sultan Murad, aldığı savaş yaralarıyla iyice takatten düşer. Hastalığı iyice ilerleyen Sultan Murad yatağa düşer. Sultan Murad’ın vaziyetinin kötü olduğunu öğrenen Kösem Sultan oğlunun başında bekler. Ana oğul hasta yatağında hesaplaşır.

I feel really sad for Ibrahim, he was really affected by all that happened.
Ibrahim's vision of Kasim harkens back to the safe time of their childhood when they hid in the simsirlik. Kasim's appearance to Kosem at first seems to be more a symbol of her guilty conscience, at her failure to protect her sons. Kasim says he will never sit on the throne, go out on a campaign and return victorious, have children, command Friday prayers, be cheered by the people. All these things are what Murad had done. Kasim says Murad is a murderer and must be killed, there is an irony to this considering how many people Kosem has had killed.

My pity for sultan Murad. After years of protecting his brothers, this is his brothers payment to him.....to eye on his throne and eliminate him. Greed for power truly makes people blind even on these days
Oh please. Murad was a mad tyrant. Even in real life, his reign was known as the bloodiest throughout Ottoman history. He turned the people against himself and made them cry out for a better sultan. He was a great conqueror but he was too cruel to be a good sultan. The burden of the crown is a heavy one and even the best sultans would sometimes break under the pressure. Suleyman the Magnificent was for the most part loved by his subjects and went on many successful conquests and campaigns, but even he made some terrible choices as well. No one is expecting a ruler to be perfect but Murad brought everything that happened to him upon himself. Kosem might have been wrong for refusing to give up her power as regent when he came of age, but at least she did a good job as regent. The empire flourished and prospered under her regency and that's why the people loved her. I won't deny that she was power-hungry but she didn't let the people down like Murad did.
Kasim never, ever intrigued against to Murad. he want to became another sultan after the death of his brother.
Kasim did not deserve this. Murad he dies at this time, he´s sick.he cannot admit that his throne fell into the hands of his brother after his death. this is reason murad why you lost all of his sons. you are next selim II- drunk, Osman II-fratricide .
