Strange thing is I am an English truck driver here in the uk ,I cannot get a green card to drive a truck in the states .tried for years . How do all these non English speaking drivers get a job ?
I haven’t signed up to risk my business and spend my resources to make profits for the brokers and brewers for quite some time now. 👍 Meaning, I have deadheaded home from there, if I can’t find anything lighter that pays something.

I don’t want to be disrespectful with my American friends but It’s funny when you guys are saying that we are taking your jobs away from Americans, when you guys don’t even like to work, the companies prefer immigrants just because we work harder “not all the Americans are lazy” But I never see an American working in the construction, landscaping, etc. About the CDL’S on my case as a Latino owner operator I came legal from South America 3 years ago, went to school for 4 weeks and buy my truck right away. It’s been a year and now I have 3 trucks. And I don’t think it’s possible to buy a license honestly.
American business owners also don’t wanna pay top dollar. So they hire immigrants to keep more money in their pockets. Immigrants are cheap labor. Why America companies outsource EVERYTHING.
FINALLY, a trucker comes out against the street shitters. Good on ya bud.
And they have no etiquette on the roads/truck stops/shippers.

How did you get insurance with no CDL experience?
Using those Ukrainian insurance companies.
