Hey man. Just wanted to ask if you have hunted out if the blind this season? We are looking at getting at least one for our farm and wondering how it does in rain and wind. I see you said it's not waterproof, so that could change our minds. We are also looking at the millennium buck hut.

@@Cranevillonly the roof is waterproof, the sides will soak up some water but will dry quick.

No way this thing is worth $2000. You better have a lot of patience to build this contraption. Just spend the money and purchase an Orion modular blind. Will last forever and fully insulated and water tight.

There is certainly work required for initial setup but there is a lot of difference between $2,000 and $5,000+ dollars. Both blinds are good values at their respective price points.

You can buy these delivered to your front door for 1699+tax. The comparable size/design Orion would be 5,300 + tax + 300 shipping. That's a HUGE difference.
Plus, if you're looking for something you could upgrade down the road, the platform is fully compatible with their new modular, hard shelled Daybreak blind (which also comes in about 1,000 cheaper than Orion).
So to start with this, then upgrade to Daybreaks hard blind years later, would cost you approximately $600 - 900 more in the long run. It's not a bad option for people that are a little tight on funds now, but are planning on being able to afford an upgrade in the next 5 years or so.
