Aw, baby's first video. :P I haven't seen this before, actually. It's cool to see how much you've improved! (And how much skill you had from the start) You managed to capture the MK8 experience pretty accurately.
Instead of DLC, it had expansion carts. You had to stack them like a 32X on a Game Genie with Sonic 3 & Knuckles inserted to use everything. This lead to performance issues, which is why the N64 packs (expansion, rumble and transfer) plug into the back of the controller instead. The Nintendo PlayStation had slots for them above the memory card slots too. 64DD? Phillips CD-i? Sony PlayStation? Never heard of them.
Fan animations should qualify as fair use, Nintendo. I understand you're protective of your IPs, but it's not like Hat-Loving Gamer is doing anything inappropriate with them.

This was fun to watch, and you have no idea how much I liked that relatable tilt control scene at the start, but I personally kinda wish you did Mariokart 8 Deluxe in this style, just so I could see the Inkling Girl in Snes version.

I wanna see behind the scenes of this one. I assume you played Mute City I on F-Zero and cropped Yoshi but it'd still be cool to see the original footage.
Some of those characters didn't exist at the time when SNES Super Mario Kart was originally released. I count 13 of those characters were already in existence at the time.
The list of jokes around the video: Since the start, the RacerLakitu was already keeping the eye on Yoshi, checking if he is going to put his rival away of his victory, the RacerLakitu is a really clever rival, he tries to be smarter than Yoshi in the entire race. Yoshi forgot that he's using those hard tilt controls, so he already lose the race start boost for that, Yoshi just show's on you that this race is not a easy game, Yoshi struggles to stay fast on track, and Yoshi tries his best determined to win that race for once!. Mario already sees Yoshi and starts to bully him with his star power, attempting to put him in the last places, but Yoshi uses his bullet bIll just before he touches him, Mario's get mad on this and starts to plan a revenge for that. Peach is so lackfull on luck, poor peach she just get hited all around. perhaps it's just to joke on her about being the damsel in distress. Rosalina is somehow in team with Mario and uses her star on Yoshi as part of the revenge. Luigi is too with Mario and they form the MarioStarTeam to make Yoshi give up for real, but they didn't expected about Yoshi returing on track with a piranha plant to finally beat those bullies up!. And also Link used the blue shell and the boomerang on Yoshi. So yeah people, all of this race match is very intense for just some meres 2minutes, but it was funny doesn't?. After all, this is what kids think when they enjoying their time playing. No matter if is in-game or in toys And also big blue is one of hat-loving gamer's favorite race track This old memorable animation can still show to us how nostalgic it is, even if it's simple. And this can maybe separate a real fan-loved creation of what Nintendo lawyers 'seems to look' when it is us 'creating' content.
He was already explained, it was cancelled... , and we don't know if he plans finish this project in future, cuz we can't just accelerate a content creator
