1973, the year I graduated High School.....great music
Me too...we were hipper than hip. 😎
The 70's baby!
Saw them in concert it's was excellent😊
Back in 73 I got to see Tower of Power for free. I knew the ticket taker.
Back then you couldn't fake it.
Hey Man. I love Tower of Power! Thanks so much for reacting to this one. Peace.
The Pride of Oakland!
I’m going to see Tower Of Power this Sunday in Napa!
I was blown away by Tower of Power and by the opening band, Ghost-Note. Both were high energy and fabulous
I'd ask you how the concert was, but I know. I saw them last year and was blown away at how tight they sounded and i guess that happens after playing together for 55 years.
LOVE this funk sound.
Saw them in early 70's...one guy from the horn section (probably the sax player, but I could be wrong) did this realllly fast footwork while he was playing. Fan ever since. ❤😂
Tower was fire! The video would have shown the big white guy with the sax dancing while he played. So good!
Ahh man, i used to watch this show in my childhood. Soooouuuulll Trrraaaiinnnn!!
Crazy thing about TOP is from back then 'till now, every band member, horn guys, keyboardist, guitarist, etc. could play kick-azz solos.
I watched this on tv😊
I've seen TOP a bunch of time, nobody sits everybody is on their feet dancing.
You move even better to this in corduroy, JS. Hopefully this gets you back to a track or two from Little Feat , Waiting for Columbus. Horns organs and funk take center circle in my venn diagram, and who doesn't love a venn diagram or yellow school bus?
Check out "So Very Hard to Go" - better vocals!!
