Man you make some very nice bird spotting! But you should cover the gap inbetween the scope and the phone for not getting the light into itcause it makes the multicoating colors shine in the camera of the phone. Good job!

Best adapter just above of the Gosky type ones. I use mine for photographing all sorts of great scenery and distant objects. Lot's of cool stuff on radio towers far away, can even see them with bare eyes sometimes so I scan the horizon and mountain tops looking for them. Can see the antennas and dishes from 10 miles away.

Just ordered one for my Telescope. They are on a slight backorder but hope to have it in a week and get a good picture of Saturn soon.

Just use it horizontally instead of vertical like this guy. They were specifically made for it.

@@KandiKlover yeah I hate vertical video. So stupid and overindulgent

Wow! Amazing shots! Could you find out what that blue light reflection was? (see Matthias' comment)

Just eyepiece reflection. You can't make the iPhone closer as it needs to be at the proper eye relief distance to get full image. If you shoot in shade or from dark area inside like inside a blind then it's fine. All the decent digiscoping adapters that let you adjust the phone properly are like this. On a sunny day just hold your hand over it to block the sun or use a nice opaque little black cloth.

I know this is late in the game but what's with the blue flare? No lens hood or bad direction? Otherwise awesome. I've had my NexYZ for a while, tried it on big Celestron binoculars (not wholly pleased with the purchase of the clip to the eyepiece..maybe I did something wrong) and I'm DEF looking into a spotting scope but that flare is too much

Wow! Thank you for the review, it seems to work perfectly!
In the bottom left corner of the videos is a blue light reflection - is that because the iPhone couldn't get closer to the eyepiece? Seems that I've got a wish for christmas :D

You can get rid of the blue haze with a filter. Or can purchase the edo version of that spotter scope but it is alot more money
