No kidding. Broke 12” off the one side of the grapple and the weight transfer of loosing the turn tipped the machine hard. Oh well. Just another day in the woods I guess
Is the skidder stuck?? Or just parked like that? I logged for 10 years in SE washington.. lots of fun much of the time. But it was always throwing things at you. Andbyou always had to figurebiut how to deal with them or work around them. Made you feel good some times and made feel like a dumass some times. I try not to think about the times I felt like a dumass. We had big dozers smaller dozers winches and grapples and a old Clark 668 rubbertire skidder. And the different people you worked with, talk about crazy mfers.
Forest...You never know what to expect...machines can be fixed, our lives are what's important.
Stay safe !

Stuck like that. The little CAT put pressure on the right rear tire and that solved the problem
??????????
not much of a skidder driver
When a faller has to drive the skidder and the grapple breaks on the hill you just do what you can without much experience on that kind of machine
