I didn't know keeping a camping journal was a thing! I've always kept one, it's an awesome way to preserve information for reference later, like good campsites, etc.
I finally got my truck and flatbed so I’ll be anchoring my camper to the flatbed like you did by drilling holes in the rub rails. That was a awesome idea. Loving all your videos.

Looks like a lot of fun to be around a truck camper rally. We picked up our 2022 Lance 1172 last Saturday. Took a year to get after we ordered it but well worth the wait. We love it and all the features. It’s parked for the winter now and we will be waiting for our first trip in the spring.

Great video guys! Magen always brings a treat out for our Boston Terrier. The dogs waste proves it! We are going to Tampa again this January shopping truck campers. Any brand you do not recommend?
@DreamingOutloudRVing it depends on the price point you are looking at. We can at least speak for the ones we've owned, Lance, Bigfoot and Northern Lite are all highly recommended. We can't really speak on the ones we haven't. Cool that you are looking at getting into truck camping but be warned, you won't have the space you had in a travel trailer but if I remember correctly, you guys had a van so you know how it is to have a small space. 😁
I am starting to look for my next RV. Changing out of a 24' Class C for something more nimble and easy for national forest and boondocking. I just started looking at the Northern Lites website. Is there a reason why there were so many of these at your rally? If they are that popular, why? I know you went with the large Lance which is a wonderful camper, but that is too much for me in every way.
I only have one problem with most truck campers with my disability I couldn’t crawl into the bed but if it was east to west I could sit on the edge and swing in.
Question I have northern lite on 2022 Chevy 2500 crew cab. My ? Is I have shark roof antenna and it’s close to the bottom of my camper. Any suggestions?????
@@RunawayRoses what do you think about the Northstar all aluminum? I was really into fiberglass but since then turned over to see this rig made of aluminum.

The entry fee was a little to high for just a weekend.
True the fees were expensive but it included the site fee and catered food for the weekend. Thanks for watching!
