      Geoffrey holden carbs was a first class mod on early fordson very common run on petrol my dad hated kero for sump diliousion you drain off dayly and clean points on magneto wanted to fire our model F been running petrol 78 years P.S. ANOTHER GREAT VID PLUS DOES MODEL F HAVE A FILTER LIKE THAT IN THE SUMP PLUS CARB MUST HAVE AJUSTABLE MAIN JET

      Holden carb very common run on petrol only another top video our family F model always had petrol carb since 1955 great to see yours running and driving WHAT A UNIT

      Hi David, thanks fro the information. I have seen lots of different modifications to run on petrol only but not a Holden carb before. Kero is defiantly a nuisance. I did strip down the whole Maggie and clean everything including points but it still wasn’t working properly. I think it needs a new condenser.
      I don’t think the early Fordson F dose have a filter there.

    Good video, enjoyed it, videos always have guy starting vehicles that been laid up for decades and never show them checking the oil in the sump, or putting some in the bores for first starts, nice to hear it run, I’ve got the later E27N 👍🏽

      Hi, yes some of those videos do make me cringe abit. Checking the basics is a great way to have a better look at the new vehicle. It’s always one of the first things I look at. I am glad you enjoyed it.
