The story:
The mother wanted to apologize to her children for closing herself up after their father died during the accident at work. Johnny touched by their story decided to pay for children's education and helped family to unite again.

The way he gets all shy and embarrassed and plays with his hair and jewellery after the audience applauds him for his Willy Wonka voice is one of the most adorable things I've ever seen. What a lovely guy.

I've never studied Italian only Spanish so what I got from this and correct me if I'm wrong was that the woman's husband had passed away, he had been the most loving and kind father to the children and basically the light of their lives. She however felt sorry for not being able to help them deal with the death as she too was so devastated ( I'm not sure of this but I think she was saying sorry for something). Johnny was her surprise for them. He consoled them and obviously gifted them what we see in the video. Loved it, he was sincerely moved by their story. Hope it helps for those of you who needed some context.

Jeeze, you can tell he genuinely cares about people that are hurting. I don't know Italian, but the body language speaks for itself. There is no way he could harm anyone. It is sad AH took advantage of his beautiful heart and soul and tortured this man for so long. He was her perfect prey. I'm so happy he won his lawsuit. He never deserved what he indured.

And he does it with fans, family, friends, co-workers and people he thinks needs a touch, a touch . This is incredible, being an artist and from a cold country. It is very extraordinary.

Sobbing. The world does not deserve this man, but he's the man the world needs right now. There need to be more people with empathy, kindness and a heart like Johnny's. I could feel his heart aching listening to her story, you could see just how much he wanted to be able to fix everything for all three of them as best as he could. His gestures were so human, so caring and came from a place of love.
I don't think anyone is perfect ever, but this man I swear to God, is as close to perfection as there can be ( both on the inside and out ) I just adore him!!!

This is an Italian show called "C'é posta per te" which means "You've got mail", basically the show is about people that want to reconcile with long lost relatives or people that are not in a nice relationship with, or that don't meet often or just when they want to say sorry to someone in a special way. I don't know if thats clear. Johnny is a special guest here that is helping those teenagers follow their dream helping them paying to study.

@@msarkaril5561 the father of the kids have an accident on work and he die...after the death the mother isolated complete...she dont accepted that his man is death,she dont go to the funeral and she wait for a long time that he come backs from work...and it was very hard for the rest of the family...and she want to say sorry to the kids ,its difficult my english is not so good to describe...but its really heartbreaking..and the kids and all likes captai sparrow...that is the surprise for the kids...this show in italy is amazing...some time the peole dont accept when somebody want to say sorry...

As a fan for 2/3 of my life, I am in it for the long haul. Such a kind and gracious person. Sadly, there are those who take advantage of those traits. I remember watching the trial in tears. I am a men's advocate and while I HATE that Johnny had to go through that, he is a hero for putting a very public face to an all too often ignored issue. So brave

The way he started out sitting a shirt distance away from her, turned slightly away but, as he heard her story, turned to her, reached out to console her and give her his handkerchief shows his humanity and great compassion. It appeared that he did not know ahead of time what her story was but surely he must have done so in order to agree to the gift he gave them (was it from him or the TV show? Whichever- JD’s beautiful soul shines through
