I tried everything and I installed mine. No where in the directions or the videos did it say to hook up the E brake to the stereo. My car is an 02’ and I have the pioneer DMH 100 BT
I have a AVH 5600 saying the same thing ill try your method hope it works for me. Update I just went in and deleted all the other phones on my stereo and everything worked now with my iPhone 15 pro max.
What to do if I do this and it still doesn’t litt up && also won’t let me connect my phone cause it’s connected to another phone that not even near me and it’s still searching for that phone
Are you asking how to play the DVD in it? If so, the parking brake has to be equipped as well. There's a wire that gets some type of signal from the parking brake engagement

You could also in the settings find safe mode and if you just turn that off the bluetooth setting will work

Right the new radios have a e brake on them must be a new safety thing the brake got to be on for the DVDs to play as well

I seen a clip on a bypass for it but haven't tried it

Sounds like a bad display on the radio are could be the jumper cable come off for the screen
