Do not buy asus products guys. My asus mobo failed to post, RMAd it. They ship it back in a flimsy box and it gets destroyed and they say they have to file a fedex claim and that got denied. This is now e waste.

I bought this laptop last month with RTX3070 Ryzen9 5800H, so far can't complain, functional well, i loved it so far
I need to go out and move only once or twice a month for work related task. May be 6-8 times a year. So I think 17.3 inches is not a daunting task to carry, yeah it make things heavier but my work flow also easier when I am not able to get hold of large monitor when not in office or home.
Since I am working on two 27 inches monitors sidewise and need large screen. It makes things really small for 15.6 inch.
I am also looking to build new PC ( Tower or cabinet). I already have monitors. So, I am thinking what could be best spot to buy- whether to get too high end laptop for all task or
upgrade my current PC to new one and then look for somewhat budget friendly laptop
Though I have budget saved since 8 months just to buy 2500 $ laptop.
Yeas- I agree and whatever machine I get I will be going for 3 years warranty atleast. All I am looking for well optimised and great performing machine within my budget.
I am still confused whether to choose AMD 6900 HX or i7 12700 HX
i9 12900 is outside my budget and also overheats and drains battery too fast.
i9 are too pricey! SHould I wait for a month to get things cool down on price or for better options?
I am awaiting for a laptop with high TGP 3060 or 3070TI laptop for Data Science and AI Simulation and algorithms for big data visualization. I was thinking of going for Ryzen 6900HX or i7 12th Gen. I am also working on Network technologies and learning Firewall and cybersecurity over Cloud.
What would be the best option for a working professional who also needs atleast 3-4 hours of battery life?
Budget: 2 lac INR
Should I wait longer for another laptop or go for anything that's around for 2000-2200 USD?
Looking for usually 17.3 inch or so for better screen as I am working on large data and visualizations. Small screen makes tough to work on large models

In black ops 2, you have only 270 fps because of Nvidia Optimus. If you disable it (the only way to do it is to play to an eternal display for this model), you will have like 720 fps. But never mind, you still have 30 fps in less than the monitor can offer (300fps)
