At first, I thought the resignation may have been a misclick and that your opponent simply meant to offer a draw. I have no complaints about repeated openings. It is very useful to see the subtleties by seeing related positions with slightly different tactics and positional motifs.
Really liked the sac although it might've not been the best move against an engine, but it really threw your opponent off balance psychologically and complicated matters enough that he wasn't able to find the best defense to your moves. Reminded me of a blitz game, Tal vs. Kasparov in '92. Tal in his typical playing style sacrificed a knight for the attack and Kasparov ended up losing on time.
Nice game, too bad about the abrupt resignation. This whole game has been seen before up to 17.Bg7. With popular moves being 17. Nh1 and 17.Rfd1. 17.f4? is viewed as a minor innacuracy after 17. Bxc3, 18. bxc3 and 18. Ndf6, but it's nothing too substantial.
Well explained and instructive! Thank you very much.
Omg, I thought your mouse was a bug on my screen for a second!

I'd prefer that you repeat openings. I've started playing the Scandinavian because you play it often enough for me to learn it.
+Steven Foong Good to know - thanks, Steven!

Why do people resign like that? I wanted to see you finish them off. :) I guess they didn't want to see that huh? haha
The opponent mentally capitulated under the pressure.
gg and analysis, thnx
